Ever wonder what life as Selena Gomez would be like?

You won't have to guess any longer! The "Wizards of Waverly Place" star has announced on her blog that she will begin filming her personal journey while recording her upcoming album for fans. La chiquita appears wise beyond her years, but she admits that she has the same life challenges as any normal teen girl. Let's face it, not every normal girl is rumored to be dating Taylor Lautner. Regardless, Selena wants to spread her knowledge of la vida to the world.
She writes on her blog:
What I hope my fans learn from my journey is that you should not ever let anyone bring you down or stop you from trying something you want to do. You will be the one who will live with regret not them.
We know there are thousands of chicas that can use her pointers. What advice would you ask Selena?

Belinda is conducting major damage control...

The controversial pop diva is spreading her generous spirit by helping las niñas de la calle. While volunteering for the charity initiative, Belinda donated some of her most valuable bling to las chicas. The "Ángel" singer refused to discuss her pending lawsuit and alleged sex video scandal, but she did pay homage to Shakira.
Belinda states that the Colombiana has inspired her musical taste:
Yo creo que bueno, para hacer mis canciones me inspiro, pues, en mi vida ¿no? Y en lo que yo he vivido y bueno, de ella, pues, la admiro y me encanta escuchar su música.
Does Belinda hope that donating jewelry and honoring Shakira will turn her into a saint? One thing is for sure...her effort is priceless. [MTV Tr3s Radio Noticias]

We previously reported on Jessica Alba's super green ways, but has la chica changed her mind?

Word on la calle is that La Alba isn't as environmentally friendly as she claims. The "Sin City" actress recently renovated her entire estate into a eco-friendly paradise, including non-toxic paints and rugs made out of recycled goods, but she was caught flying in a G5 private jet to the Declare Yourself inaugural event. We can classify her as a wanna-be tree-hugger, but does she get a free pass for being a celebrity? Technically public transportation isn't even an option for them. (Pobrecitos)
Are you hatin' on La Alba as much as she dislikes Bill O'Reilly? [Green Daily]

The holidays came early for our favorite artists during the 2008 Latin Grammy Awards last night.

Julieta Venegas sparkled with alegría after winning "Best Alternative Music Album" and "Best Music Video - Expanded Version" for her masterful “MTV Unplugged” compilation. The glowing estrella also worked her accordion and vocal expresiones with a live performance of "El Presente." Luckily the timely celebration didn't end there.
La noche's theme was all about listening to the lyrics. Sin duda, Juanes encompassed the meaning with "La Vida Es un Ratico," which toppled the competition by snagging five Latin Grammy Awards, including "Album of the Year," "Best Male Pop Vocal Album," and "Best Song of The Year" for "Me Enamora."
The Colombiano also performed an R&B remixed rendition of "Odio Por Amor/Hate For Love" with the legendary John Legend. In between all of the excitement, Juanes gave a grande GRACIAS to everyone:
I can't believe it. I am very, very happy, very grateful to life, to music, to God, to the Academy. For me, this has been incredible. It's a dream.
His sueño appeared complete after sharing kisses with his amor Karen Martinez. The love didn't stop there...and no we don't mean Juanes ran around giving besos to all of las chicas! There were plenty of other artistas that celebrated their eventful win.
Flex also shared the romance by winning the award for "Best Urban Song" for his hit single "Te Quiero."
Professional reggaetoneros, Wisin y Yandel also flexed their smooth movimientos by winning the "Best Urban Music Album" Latin Grammy for "Los Extraterrestres."

Café Tacuba offered a heavy dose of energía with a show-stopping performance. The rocking quartet ruled the festivities by dominating the categories for "Best Rock Song" for "Esta Vez" and "Best Alternative Song" for "Volver a Comenzar."

The rocquero steez continued to take over with help from Belanova. The synth-pop rock band took home the Latin Grammy for "Best Duo or Group Album" for "Fantasía Pop."
