Team Blogamole is happy to report that la Mexicana Gloria Trevi has some tricks up her sleeve! To follow Una Rosa Blu (2007), Trevi has stacked up 18 tracks for her upcoming album.

While touring in Los Angeles, Trevi briefly spoke about her creative process behind the album, which does not yet have a set release date or title:
"... Estoy en un momento en el que traigo toda la creatividad, sensibilidad, emoción y energía."
In a recent interview with Terra USA, the singer discussed filming an autobiography, in which she will not be playing herself:
"It's to hard for me. I have some moments in my life, with a lot of drama and I can't do it... porque seria un poco doloroso"

It sounds like Shakira's official World Cup anthem, "Waka Waka," isn't a hit with South Africans. Yahoo! Sports reports that locals are calling radio stations to say "it's horrible." Yikes!
The fact that the anthem for South Africa's World Cup is not being sung by a South African seems to be the point of controversy, while some some critics are are just opposed to the new tune itself.
Despite poor reviews, Shakira is scheduled to perform "Waka Waka" with Freshlyground in front of 94,000 people at the final match on July 11. We wonder how the crowd is going to react! Watch your back, Shaki!
Regardless of haters, our She-Wolf has plenty to celebrate:

The crafty Colombiana has been very politically active these days — from protesting against Arizona’s immigration laws to building a school for Haiti, there's no stopping those hips of justice!
Shakira recently joined forces with Alejandro Sanz, Juanes and others to record a cover of “Gracias a la Vida,” in an effort to raise funds after the recent earthquake tragedy in Chile.
Go, Shaki, go!
Shakira will kick off her global tour in the fall of 2010. She's also prepping for a new album that composer Rico Amor says will have a pop feel, “mas vanguardista.”
What do you think about "Waka Waka"? Let us know below or at @MTV3!

Anahi fans were outraged Tuesday when they received an URGENT letter from Anahi's management urging them to buy 5 copies of her album. That's 5 copies of the same exact album, in case we didn't clarify! Her 5th studio album, Mi Delirio, leaked online earlier this month and to combat Anahi's financial loss, her team has come up with a plan to make sure she makes all her $$$. The plan asks fans to buy all the songs available on iTunes twice, and the album 5 times once available in stores.
Creemos que Anahí will be happy if her fans buy the album once, no? The single "Mi Delirio" is available on iTunes now, and the album hit stores November 23rd. The LP is produced by Gil Cerezo and Ulises Lozano, of Mexican band Kinky. [LatinGossip]
