If you’re a hip-hop fan like I am, you’ve probably asked yourself at some point, “Whatever happened to DMX?” Plagued by legal issues and jail stints over the last few years, DMX has pretty much remained absent from the rap game. That is, until now.

On Tuesday (May 15^th), Dark Man X released The Weigh In EP in form of an online download. It’s really the first source of music we’ve heard from the Yonkers rapper since he dropped his last album Year of the Dog… Again, six years ago.

Speaking with MTV News over the phone, DMX commented on his return saying,

“The focus is on taking the music seriously, as a job, and less trouble.”

The Weigh In serves as a warm-up to DMX’s full-length album Undisputed scheduled to release on June 26^th. “Everywhere I go people are like, ‘When’s the album droppin’? When’s the album droppin’?’ So I was just like, lemme hit ‘em with something, let them know, give them a little appetizer of what it’s gonna be like,” he said of The Weigh In.

The 11-track EP features guest appearances by Snoop Dogg and Tyrese, while Lil’ Wayne even makes a cameo on an interlude. It’s good to know DMX can still call in a few favors from his industry pals. He said,

“I appreciate the fact that the love is still there. I look forward to working with more artists. I normally don’t work with too many artists, but these have always been friends of mine.”

With five consecutive albums having debuted at number one on the Billboard 200, the title for his highly anticipated Undisputed album seems quite fitting. We’ll have to wait and see if DMX can earn another notch on his belt when the album drops, but for now The Weigh In is in session.

Do you think DMX still has enough bark in him to make a successful comeback?

The Los Angeles Police Department has just confirmed that actor Nick Stahl has been reported missing. The Terminator 3 actor, who was last seen on May 9th, was reported missing by his wife, Rose. According to People, the missing person's report was filed with the Los Angeles Police Department on Monday.

LAPD Officer Rosario Herrera is quoted as saying,

"I can confirm that he's missing and, as of now, he is still missing."

As if the actor's disappearance weren't mysterious enough, a source claims to have spotted the 32-year-old actor in the notoriously dangerous Skid Row area of Los Angeles.

2012 has not been a good year for the actor, who has been legally separated from his wife since February. Rose, reportedly asked the judge to limit Stahl's visitations with 2-year-old daughter, Marlo, and even requested for Stahl to undergo drug and alcohol testing before being allowed to visit.

Stahl's rep has yet to comment on his disappearance. Besides Terminator 3, Nick Stahl has also starred on Carnivale, Sin City and In The Bedroom.

Little Monsters in Indonesia will be disappointed that Lady Gaga will have to cancel a June 3 concert in Jakarta because she was denied a permit to perform by several religious and political leaders.

Conservative politicians are uniting with Islamic leaders to protest Gaga's performance, citing the suggestiveness of her clothes and dance moves as the cause for their dislike of the artist. The political and religious protesters fear that Gaga might taint the moral fabric of Indonesia and corrupt their nation's youth.

There were threats of physical force to keep Lady Gaga from even setting foot off the plane. Police were worried they were unable to guarantee the singer's safety, causing them to suggest the best thing for Gaga's well-being was for her concert permit to be denied.

One ticket-holder lamented how the government caved into social pressures, saying,

"I'm very disappointed. We are mature enough to be able to separate our own moral values from arts and culture."

Lady Gaga has also faced opposition from other groups, such as conservative Christians, forcing some of her shows to be adults-only. She faced protests during her kickoff of the Born This Way Ball in South Korea, but went forward with the show after abiding by the adults only rule.

Singing legend Barbara Streisand just signed a $30 million Sony contract and there is word that she might be teaming up with Rihanna and Adele for future collaborations.

According to a source,

"Streisand has been approached by label execs to record an album of duets with young, hip artists, including Adele and Rihanna. Industry sources say the move would aim to [boost] Babs' appeal with more youthful record buyers beyond core Streisand fans."

A duet with RiRi and Adele could give Babs just the revival she needs by appealing to a younger generation and help her break through hipper social media outlets and the realm of mp3s used by a different audience. Collaboration could bring great things for Barbara, and also for the other artists as well, who may be gaining an older more mature fan base.

This type of collaboration was successfully accomplished by Tony Bennett back in 2011, when he released duets with Amy Winehouse, Mariah Carey, and Carrie Underwood. Joining a music legend with a fresh new sound brings music lovers the best of both musical worlds.

It seems Belinda has become a master of the Twitpic. Her shots have been thought-provoking, comedic and very chisme-inducing. And that's certainly the case with her latest snap, which appears to show her with a pregnancy bump!

Of course, the Quiero Mi Baby rumors got squashed pretty quickly. Beli's belly shot was taken after a hearty meal. When the camera came out, she jokingly went stomach-to-stomach with music producer Victor "El Nasi."

"@belindapop and I just ate," he wrote. "Tell me who's fatter."

Victor's actually working with Belinda on her next album and made a pretty shrewd move posting that pic on the web. If anything, it certainly got people talking. And who knows? Maybe it'll get her an offer to appear in What To Expect When You’re Expecting Part 2!

Katherine Heigl and Josh Kelley recently adopted a second baby girl, and they have decided to name her Adalaide Marie Hope Kelley, as they recently revealed. The couple has kept their daughter's name a secret since they announced her adoption almost three weeks ago.

Adalaide (not Adelaide) just met her big sister, three-year-old Naleigh. Naleigh has been with the couple since 2009, when she was adopted from South Korea. Adalaide was adopted from within the United States, but no word yet has been revealed on the baby girls' nationality. The couple has not given a reason why they have kept her name hush hush for this long either, but we're glad they finally let us in on the news.

Hubby Josh is overjoyed with his family, and had no problem showing it. He gave Katherine a very special Mother's Day, making her breakfast on Sunday morning. Josh tweeted,

"The breakfast I made the mother of my children this morning. Hope you dudes out there take care of your ladies. No skimping."

Welcome to the family, Adalaide Marie Hope. Congratulations to Katherine, Josh, and Naleigh for their new addition. Let's hope this one takes better to Katherine than Naleigh did at the beginning. I'm sure it will go smoother for Katherine this time around.

The Spanish media is circulating some big chisme rumors this week. According to reports, Barcelona futbol star Gerard Piqué is cheating on Shakira with supermodel Bar Rafaeli!

Now keep in mind, these are only rumors and Bar has already denied the romance. Nevertheless, gossip bloggers are saying that Gerard is "mad about her" and ready to end his relationship with Shaki.

Interestingly, Rafaeli does have a reputation for wooing famous men. She had previously been involved in high-profile romance with Leonardo DiCaprio and is always attracting A-list suitors.

But is she really luring Piqué away from the She Wolf? It certainly sounds surprising to us, especially considering the wedding rumors that were recently circulated.

Forget about getting gold stars for good attendance. Students at Lincoln High School in Detroit received a special treat when G.O.O.D. Music recording artist Big Sean spent the day at the school as acting principal.

As part of the Get Schooled Detroit Challenge sponsored by General Motors, United Way, and Viacom, Lincoln High School improved its attendance by 8.56 percent, thus landing Big Sean for the day.

"One of my New Year's resolutions was to be more involved. Especially in education," said Big Sean, who went from classroom to classroom speaking to students about the importance of staying in school.

An assembly hosted by MTV's Sway and WJLB morning hostess Coco was also held during the day and featured a surprise performance by fellow Detroit native and Shady Records signee, Royce Da 5'9 who performed his verse on the song "Lighters".

"Lighters" features Eminem, another Detroit rapper who coincidentally happened to attend Lincoln High School as a teen.

Speaking on Big Sean and the day's events, Mark Reuss, president of GM North America said,

"This is about as connected as you could ever get with the students. Someone they respect and he gave a great message here."

Personally, I prefer the message in his song, "Dance (A$$)", but I guess staying in school is a much greater message to get across. Big ups to Big Sean.

What artist would you want as your principal for the day?

Sacha Baron Cohen has outdone himself again in his latest stunt, as the infamous Dictator rode the streets of Cannes in a fully-adorned camel.

Cohen is infamous for getting too into his characters and pulling crazy stunts to promote upcoming films. He recently spilled "human" ashes on Ryan Seacrest on a red carpet to promote The Dictator as well. Strangely enough, his camel stunt, while more over-the-top, is probably in infinitely better taste.

Cohen held a press costume, in full Dictator garb, surrounded by two scantily clad female soldiers. A camel was brought to him while he was conducting this press conference outside his hotel. Cohen got on the camel and proceeded to ride through town to do some shopping.

Needless to say, the comedian created a spectacle as he was mobbed by photographers and calling some police attention to himself. The Dictator actor then turned around and returned to his hotel.

These kinds of antics are not unusual for Sasha, as he is used to pulling crazy stunts while promoting his movies. It's also not an unusual move at the Cannes Film Festival, where outrageous acts are often used to build hype around an upcoming film.

What is your favorite Sasha Baron Cohen stunt?

Sure the critics haven't been kind to Girl In Progress, but that hasn't stopped its stars from speaking out on its behalf. At a recent junket, Eva Mendes and Cierra Ramirez talked about the positive impact they hope the film will have on women.

"I really want to applaud [director] Patricia Riggen for making this film," Eva said. "It's a very bold statement and I think the female support system is very important."

Love it or hate it, there's no denying that Progress is full of female empowerment. The leads are all women and, as we mentioned before, it has an up-and-coming Latina director. 17-year-old Cierra found herself especially drawn to the daughter role.

"I think this movie has a universal message," she said. "I think moms and daughters watching this can enjoy a bonding experience. There are a lot of great talking points in there."

Mendes added to that sentiment, saying,

"I've always been attracted to mother/daughter stories. Terms of Endearment was one of my all-time favorite movies growing up."

Of course, both actresses are far removed from the characters they portray. In the movie, Eva plays a somewhat selfish single mom, while Ramirez is a smack-talking rebellious teen.

"I'm lucky that I have great parents in real life," Cierra accentuated. "They've been able to keep me really grounded and they’ve sacrificed so much for me."

Mendes mentioned how her family has been a constant inspiration as well. But as far as on set inspirations go, we had to ask if having co-star Eugenio Derbez nearby helped take their comedy chops to a new level.

"Eugenio is awesome," Eva gushed. "He brought a lot to his role and really made it charming."

We guess it's hard to hate on a film with so much heart behind it. Heck, even the National Campaign praised it. Fresh off it's Mother's Day opening, Girl In Progress is still playing in select theaters across the country.
