Nick At Nite announced that James Franco will be appearing in a multi-episode arc on Hollywood Heights, the network's newest soap opera.
Jill Farren Phelps will be producing the American telenovela. She had previously worked with Franco during his appearances in General Hospital, and will now be reuniting with him on Nick At Nite's latest prime time soap.
Hollywood Heights, is based on the Mexican telenovela Alcanzar una estrella, about an introverted girl who wins a songwriting competition and becomes a pop star. She also falls in love with a rock star along the way, and, well, tune in to find out what happens next.
The show will premier in June, but it has not yet been reveled when the Freaks and Geeks star will make his debut. While Franco's appearance on General Hospital was a bit under-appreciated, his performance on a Nick At Nite telenovela might just be the perfect thing.
Do you think James Franco will do a good job on 'Hollywood Heights'?

It looks like the on-again/off-again wedding of Chad Ochocinco and Evelyn Lozada are moving full steam ahead. And so are VH1's reality cameras! According to TMZ, the couple signed a very lucrative contract with the network to film their upcoming nuptials.
It seems Chad and Evelyn will be earning $300,000 each for two months worth of shooting. That's definitely not a bad way for Ochocinco to spend his off-time from the Cincinnati Bengals.
As for Lozada (who's part-Puerto Rican), she's already making a solid paycheck from VH1 for her work on Basketball Wives. She recently re-upped her contract with that series for what we're sure is a solid increase.
But we imagine the real ratings getter with be Chad and Evelyn's boda show. Knowing their tumultuous history, we're sure plenty of viewers will be tuning in to see if they really say "I Do."

Modern Family star Sofia Vergara will be hosting 'Saturday Night Live' on April 7. The Colombian comedian can now add SNL to her repertoire of places she has made us laugh since beginning her American acting career in 2002.
Vergara's breakthrough role has been playing the cooky Gloria Delgado-Pritchett in ABC's Modern Family, where she plays the wife of Al Bundy. Um, I mean Jay Pritchett, played by Ed O'Neill.
Sofia also makes us laugh with her zany Pepsi commercials and is also a spokesmodel for Cover Girl. Before she was an actress, Sofia was discovered by a photographer on a Colombian beach. She is now one of television's well-known funny ladies and a household name.
She will be joined on SNL by British boy band One Direction, comprised of Harry Stiles, Liam Payne, Zayn Malik, Niall Horan, and Louis Tomlinson.
Will you be watching Sofia on SNL?

It looks like we're down to one Tr3s fave this season on American Idol. Though Jessica Sanchez continues to wow the fans, Latino crooner Jeremy Rosado failed to impress last night and was ultimately bumped from the Top 13.
Rosado had been a favorite of Judge JLo and she had even used her wild card to keep him alive him last week. But when it came time to the voting, Jeremy didn't make the cut.
Thankfully, he was a good sport through it all. Speaking about the experience after his elimination, Rosado seemed upbeat and eager to still pursue his musical ambitions.
"I've been so blessed to know each and every one of these contestants. I love them," he told Entertainment Weekly. "This is just like the break-in to show business, right? This is the dream. Livin' the dream."

Britney Spears was offered $10 million dollars to host 'The X Factor' but is holding out for $16 million dollars instead.
There is still no confirmation of whether Britney will be doing the show for certain, as it is still under negotiation. Simon Cowell and L.A. Reid briefly addressed the decision for the show to have BritBrit on for its second season, but Spears has not given them an answer yet.
Britney's agent and fiancé, Jason Tradwick, is negotiating the contract as we speak, and their answer could come as soon as next week. So far, the issue of how much she will be getting paid is the only thing holding up the contract negotiations.
According to a source, these negotiations have been going on for some time.
Do you think 'The X Factor' will pay Britney her $16 million?

If there's one way to win votes on American Idol, it's by mimicking the voice of a rock goddess. And Tr3s fave Jessica Sanchez nailed every note this week, when she performed Whitney Houston's classic "I Will Always Love You."
The 16-year-old half-Mexican contender drew huge cheers from the studio audience and left the judges floored.
"[I think you] just made 40 million people cry," Steven Tyler proclaimed.
Randy Jackson was quick to chime in too, saying,
"Not only are you one of the best singers tonight — I think you're one of the best singers in the whole competition!"
Videos of Jessica's performance are already blowing up the web, with over 65,000 YouTube views since yesterday. That being said, it's safe to say that Sanchez won't be hearing Scotty McCreery's A.I. goodbye song anytime soon.

Lady Gaga is furious about an upcoming biopic based on her life called Fame Monster: The Lady Gaga Story.
It is still uncertain who will play Gaga in the movie, but we do know some details about the future film. Fame Monster: The Lady Gaga Story is supposed to air on the Lifetime channel. It is written by Norman Snider, the same guy who once made a movie about Hollywood Madam Heidi Fleiss (who we've all seen since on 'Celebrity Rehab').
Gaga is not pleased with her portrayal in this movie and worries that the film will pain her in an unfavorable light. Particularly, she is afraid it will show her as insecure and needy.
A friend of Gaga's shared,
"She's furious, she's cringing at the thought of her life being exposed on television. Gaga doesn't want it getting out because it will portray her as insecure and needy. [She] wants to be seen as powerful and strong."
I don't blame her. After all she has gone through to maintain this larger than life image - grand entrances in a giant egg, a meat dress, naked cereal binges- why would she want to be exposed as needy and insecure?
Are you excited to see Gaga's more vulnerable side in a made-for-television film?

It looks like the American Idol producers are working hard to lessen the blow for dejected contestants. Though it's sad to see fan faves eliminated, we can at least revel in the vocals of Scotty McCreery as they say goodbye. Yup, McCreery's version of "Please Remember Me" has become A.I.’s official sendoff anthem.
Originally sung by Tim McGraw, "Remember Me" is poignant and effective when capturing the emotions of a voted off Idol. And Scotty's rich country twang gives it a signature touch that's certain bring back memories of last year's competition.
Clearly Idol made the choice to promote Scotty, whose debut album still has a presence on the Billboard charts. And he seems thrilled to be a part of the show, even if it's during the downer moments.
"I was ecstatic and I'm glad to get to be on there," McCreery told USA Today. "It's cool to still be connected to the show every week."
He went on to say that he's planning to make some "in-person" appearances too, both as a singer and an Idol mentor.
Have you picked up Scotty's debut album yet? Sound off in the comments or @MTV3.

It looks like Dayana Mendoza is still holding strong on Celebrity Apprentice. In fact, the former Miss Universe recently won $20,000 in a weekly challenge, which she happily donated to the Latino Commission on AIDS.
The organization happens to be Mendoza's charity of choice and if she can win the whole competition, she'll be giving them a hefty $250,000 donation. So far Dayana is performing pretty well on the show, earning slightly less than reality stars Penn Jillette and Paul Teutul Jr.
Our other Tr3s fave, Patricia Velasquez, is still in the running too, though she suffered a devastating loss during Apprentice's first week. Mendoza is holding strong though, and reps for the Latino Commission are very hopeful that she'll go the distance.
"We are extremely grateful and honored to count on Dayana Mendoza's support," Latino AIDS Commission president Guillermo Chacon said. "Dayana is a beacon of hope for a future without AIDS."

The rumors are true. Snooki is pregnant and engaged to babydaddy Jionni LaValle.
The 24 year old 'Jersey Shore' Guidette finally came forward and admitted her pregnancy after lying last month and denying it. She wanted to wait until she was three months along her pregnancy before she came out and confirmed it.
Snooki's rep said earlier,
"We can officially confirm that Nicole 'Snooki' Polizzi is pregnant and engaged to her boyfriend Jionni LaValle. Nicole is thrilled to finally be able to share her happy news with the fans."
Let's hope this means an end to her drinking and partying and dancing around showing off her underwear at clubs, something Jionni certainly does not approve of. Snooki confirmed she was going to quit her partying ways and described morning sickness as "feeling really hung over." Luckily, she's had lots of practice.
What will this mean for Snooki's 'Jersey Shore' career? Will she quit the land of reality television, or will she just evolve? Motherhood and marriage are sure to clash with her previous reputation.
Snooki said,
"I have different priorities now. I don't care what anybody else thinks. As long as I know I'm ready and he's ready."
Jionni, a wrestling coach for kids, called the pregnancy "a happy accident." Snooki even has some baby names planned out: Frankie, Isabella, Giana, and Jionni Jr. The couple seems to be excited about their little meatball. I guess Jionni might be able to make an honest woman out of Snooki after all.
Do you think Snooki will make a fun mom?
