One of sports entertainment most incredibly watched shows made a huge pit stop in Miami on Sunday April 1st and it was no April's Fools joke with 80,000 fans present.

Wrestlemania XXVIII hit Sun Life Stadium with a phenomenal line up and wrestling all stars like CM Punk, Kane, Randy Orton, and Chris Jericho just to name a few. Not only did they have all star wrestlers but they also had all star entertainers like no other Wrestlemania I have ever seen. There was TV personality Maria Menounos from 'Extra' wrestle and win with Kelly Kelly vs  Eve Torres (whom is half nicaraguense) and Divas Champion Beth Phoenix.

The first huge event was 'The Hell in the Cell Match' between The Undertaker and Triple H. The match was refereed by Triple H's long time friend and WWE Super Star Shawn Michaels and it was one for the record books, with these two legendary wrestlers that kept you at the edge of your seats. Ended in a win by The Undertaker but in a very non traditional Undertaker fashion of helping Shawn Michaels walk out a worn out Triple H and showing much respect.

Then came the main event, what everyone had been waiting for in the past year: el bello Miami native Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson vs John Cena. The WWE is known for the incredible light and pyrotechnic shows and this time was no disappointment, this being Wrestlemania and we could have the typical intros. First up was Sean 'Diddy' Combs introducing his band Machine Gun Kelly Feat Skylar Grey performing John Cena's intro to the song 'Invincible' and then came also Miami native Flo Rida performing 'Good Feeling' & 'Wild Ones' feat Sia for the man of the hour The Rock.

This match was truly incredible to see for the sportsmanship and hard work of these two incredible athletes, but of course only one can come out on top. After a few signature moves being thrown around on both ends including John Cena's STF, five knuckle shuffle,  and attitude adjustment and of course The Rocks Legendary Rock Bottom it was two beautiful People's Elbows ... did I mention beautiful? The Rock came out and won the match! Phew Gracias!

This was definitely heart stopping and I even managed to lose my voice. It was all worth it for The Rock. Don't forget to stay tuned Monday, April 2nd as the results to all this unfold again in Miami at Raw. Don't forget to keep up to date with all you chismes here on Blogamole and TR3S.com

It seems the Florida State Attorney's office has dropped the domestic battery case against baseball great Manny Ramirez. But that hasn't stopped the media from speculating about whether the charges were true.

The reason Manny won't have to face a judge is because his wife has become an "uncooperative witness." Now does that mean that his alleged slap to her head didn't happen? Or is she getting intimidated not to testify?

Ramirez' wife Juliana has actively avoided participating in the case, even going so far as to leave the state. Whatever her reasons, it's good news for Manny, who at one point was facing serious jail time for the incident.

To help cope, Ramirez has distanced himself from Florida too. He's currently in the middle of spring training for the Oakland A's and he has into powerful home runs.

Talk about an inspirational story. At age 44, infielder Omar Vizquel earned a slot on the Toronto Blue Jays roster, making him the oldest active position player in Major League Baseball!

The Venezuelan-born slugger has already had quite a career up to this point. He won nine consecutive Gold Glove Awards back in the 90's and was a three-time MLB All-Star during his tenure with the Cleveland Indians.

And at this stage of the game, Vizquel's still winning over fans (including some fellow Blue Jays). General Manager Alex Anthopolous seemed thrilled to have him in the dugout.

"We knew what his character was and what kind of guy he was going to be in the clubhouse," Anthopolous said. "Omar just had a very good camp and he deserved to be on the team."

23 years in the majors is definitely an accomplishment and could get Vizquel a slot next to Jencarlos Canela in the Guinness World Record book.

Move over Shakira, we've got a new "Cougar" on the prowl! It seems 30-year-old Jamie-Lynn Sigler has been stirring up a romance with 22-year-old slugger Cutter Dykstra.

Cutter (who plays for the Washington Nationals) is the son of baseball great Lenny Dykstra and has been hooking up with Sigler for the past few months. According to E!, their relationship started with some flirty Tweets, then things escalated from there.

"@JamieLSigler had an amazing time with you, I miss you so much," Dykstra recently posted. "The last week flew by. Have a safe flight and kick ass on the pilot, so happy for you."

Jamie-Lynn (who's part Cuban) became famous for playing the smart aleck mob daughter on HBO's The Sopranos. Since the series ended, she's popped into shows like Ugly Betty and Entourage. And, if the stories are true, she may be popping in to the Nationals' dugout quite a bit too.

There's a lot of synergy happening in So Cal at the moment. It seems Lakers legend Magic Johnson has convinced his investment team to make a $2 billion offer for the L.A. Dodgers. And, according to reports, the team said yes!

The announcement was made Tuesday night after months of speculation. As we mentioned earlier, previous owner Frank McCourt had a tough time keeping his finances together, ultimately putting the team up for sale last fall.

Johnson, it seems, made the winning bid, adding the Dodgers to his growing roster of businesses (which include movie theaters and hamburger chains). And the boys in blue seem very excited to meet their new boss.

"I think that's tight, man," center fielder Matt Kemp said. "For Magic to be one of our owners. He knows what the Dodgers mean to L.A. Of course, Magic is real important to L.A. and the fans love him, so to get him to be a part of the Dodgers organization is a very good thing for us, and I think this it's a pretty good day for the Dodgers."

Could Gerard Piqué be getting "special soccer privileges" because of his famous girlfriend? That's how it appears to several of his Barcelona teammates and his coach, Pep Guardiola, is not happy about it.

Gerard and Shaki recently took a dangerous river rafting trip, which they discussed openly on Twitter. That may be fine and dandy for the average couple, but Piqué's fútbol club forbids those kinds of excursions, especially since they put his famous feet in danger.

Barcelona shelled out quite a lot of cash for Gerard's talents and if he were to get injured off the field, it would be bad news for the organization. Plus, it shows that Piqué isn’t much of a "team player," since the rest of the squad can't partake in those types of activities.

Posting pix on Twitter only worsened the situation, as many on the team felt Gerard was "flaunting" his defiance of the club rules. No word yet on what the repercussions may be, but according to Goal.com, Guardiola is not a happy camper.

Sammy Sosa, Pedro Martinez, David Ortiz…what do these names have in common? Not only are they legendary sluggers, they're proud Dominicans! And they're just a fraction of the baseball greats who were born in the D.R. Clearly the MLB knows about the phenomenal talent coming out of the Republic and they're hoping to capitalize it by creating a brand new Dominican league.

Major League Baseball just announced that they are launching a program in the D.R. for unsigned players. The hope is that it will develop and groom amateur sluggers before they transition to playing for American teams.

"We believe that this new league will provide amateur players with an opportunity to showcase their talent," MLB Senior Vice President Kim Ng said. "Major League Baseball is very excited to begin its new prospect league in the Dominican Republic."

Education will also play a big role with the new program. Ng mentioned how players will learn about what to expect in the states, if and when they get recruited.

Hopefully the Dominican players will get to work with unique mentors too. We can already think of one dugout icon who would be a perfect fit in the D.R.

Things are about to get a lot more competitive within the New York Jets organization. It seems ace quarterback Mark Sanchez will now have to share the field with rising star Tim Tebow.

This week, it was announced that Tim was being traded to New York. And while that may be great news for Jets fans, people are wondering if it's sitting well with Sanchez.

As you may recall, Mark took some heat last season for not performing to the best of his abilities. Could the Tebow trade be a way of edging him out of the QB slot?

Most likely not, but it will definitely force Sanchez to try harder on the field. At least he can take comfort in knowing that the Saints won't be a big threat anymore.

Are you looking forward to Tebow joining the Jets? Sound off in the comments or @MTV3.

It seems the New Orleans Saints have turned into some major sinners, at least in the eyes of the NFL. The National Football League enacted some pretty severe punishments on the team after it was proven that they put out "bounties" for inflicting injuries on the field.

After a three-year investigation, the league decided that head coach Sean Payton and General Manager Mickey Loomis did have a hand in initiating the bounties. And after that ruling, they took immediate action.

Payton has been suspended without pay for the entire 2012 season and Loomis is banned from the first eight games. Former defensive coordinator Gregg Williams and assistant coach Joe Vitt were also disciplined for their roles in the scandal.

And if that weren't enough, the Saints organization received a $500,000 fine and lost their second-round privileges for the 2012 and 2013 drafts. Something tells us the mood on Bourbon Street is not very joyous at the moment.

Do you think the NFL was too harsh with their punishment? Sound off in the comments or @MTV3.

Matthew Macklin certainly didn't have any "Lucky Charms" in his corner this past weekend. The Irish middleweight lost a grueling bout against Sergio Martinez at Madison Square Garden Saturday night (on St. Patrick's Day no less!). Macklin certainly gave the fight a good shot, but wound up getting KO'd in the eleventh round.

Argentine bruiser Martinez is on a solid roll at the moment. Saturday's fight became his fourth straight knockout, leading many to speculate that he could be facing the fearsome Floyd Mayweather next.

But as far as the St. Paddy's rumble went, Sergio seemed to have it in the bag right from the beginning. Entering in a sparkling crimson robe, Martinez didn't necessarily have the crowd on his side. Many "green" revelers were yelling Irish chants in support of Matthew. But they were quickly silenced once the bell rung.

Sergio dodged nearly all of Macklin's blows and countered with fierce attacks to the face and chest. Martinez also drew the judges' respect for his speed and energy, dancing around the ring without even breaking a sweat!

Matthew did connect a devastating punch in the seventh, causing Sergio to lose his footing (and possibly his confidence) for the remainder of the round. But in true "Martinez style," he came back strong, wearing Macklin down and sending him to the floor with a solid left hook!

Sergio
seemed to be all smiles when it was all over and buzz about his skills began sweeping the web. Other than Mayweather, several sports writers believe Martinez could score a lot of attention (and a lot of cash) by challenging Julio Cesar Chavez Jr.

Who Sergio battles next remains to be seen, but he’s already got another high-profile "fight" that he's hoping to bring to the public. Martinez wants all of his fans to stand up against domestic violence and conveyed a powerful message to the L.A. Times before his Saturday bout.

"I came from a bad place," he explained. "This was an area where there was already a culture of violence, so you can imagine what I was subjected to by the older boys. I'd be hit by whatever they could get in their hand. What I went through must've influenced me, the experiences [of violence] shaped my personality and taught me just because you might have to deal with this [violence, bullying] it's not a be-all, end-all."
