Where to begin?!? Okay, the black carpet was packed with reality stars, nominees and a lot of media. I couldn't even begin to tell you how long the carpet was with so many media outlets wanting to get a minute with anyone walking down the black carpet. I had to get REAL loud in order for some of the artists to stop by and talk to me. I lost my manners somewhere on that carpet. I mean I didn't spend two hours getting hair and make-up done to talk to Hula-Hoop the Rapper... Bring me Katy Perry people!!! The big winner of the night, Mrs. Russell Brand, did stop to talk to me and so did Mr. Selena Gomez. I can't wait for you guys to check out the footage its pretty epic.

Once inside the Nokia Theater, Tr3s hooked a sister up with a prime spot! My seat was so close to the stage I could literally touch Beyoncé’s belly if I wanted to have my own Lil Mama moment. I was sitting next to funny man Kevin Hart... behind me were the Odd Future boys and in front of me Seth Rogen! By the way, when you’re sitting this close to the stage you get free champagne!!! Pre-Party!! I mean I was on duty BUT when Kevin Hart hands you a glass of bubbly, you drink it!

The one moment that stood out the most was watching Adele's performance. She was SO nervous! While Katy Perry was introducing her she kept taking deep breaths and rubbing her arms. I honestly thought she was hyperventilating and I was going to need to yell out "snap out of it!" but she killed her performance. Wait, can we take a second to acknowledge Nayer’s attempt to be naked on stage... girl what are your neighbors going to say? The night ended with my chola-pop star la Katy Perry taking home the big prize for Video of the Year! I did have an awkward moment when I was the only person in the orchestra area to stand up and yell out "MY GIRL!" I quickly apologized to all the cool people around me for being extra hood. Ha!

Now it was time to party! I met up with my people at the SLS Hotel in Beverly Hills. Muy fancy... I know. It was the 4th Annual House of Hype party that was honestly a lot of fun! The DJ was awesome, the energy was great and the open bar that was full of adult beverages gave us all some extra swag on the dance floor. I ran into a few fabulous friends, Popped one, two, three and I don't know how many more bottles of champagne! Out of control! Well, once the DJ started playing Deadmau5 five times in a row, it was time for the after-after party. Now, at this after-after party I had a blast! The music was provided by Dj Skeet Skeet who always makes a girl want to dance. I made a few new friends and even spotted other nominees there like the gentlemen from Foster The People! I love those boys.

Wrapping it all up my experience at the VMA's was priceless! Yes, just like the Mastercard commercial. Gracias Tr3s team for letting me rep!

Could there be a little war brewing between the fans of Tyler the Creator and Bruno Mars? Since bursting on the scene with his Goblin album, Tyler has not been shy with his Doo Wops criticisms. And at Sunday's VMAs things got even more tense, when he said he would "kill himself" if Bruno nabbed Video of the Year.

Katy Perry's "Firework" wound up taking home that honor, but it hasn't slowed Tyler's attacks on Mars'music. On his "Yonkers" single, T the C threw out the line, "[I want to] stab Bruno Mars in his goddamn esophagus."

Bruno did wind up responding, albeit by taking the high road. When speaking with SPIN magazine, he said,

"[Tyler] has to wait in line if he wants to stab me. [Tyler's] definitely not the first guy that's said something like that to me and he’s not going to be the last."

For better or worse, Tyler does have somewhat of an upper hand at the moment. He scored a Moonman as MTV's Best New Artist, while Mars went home empty-handed. But Mr. Creativity may have softened his stance a bit on Sunday, particularly after watching Bruno's spirited Amy Winehouse tribute.

"He put on a good performance," Tyler told Boombox. "But I hate his music."

Sure it was fun watching Katy Perry take home Best Video at the VMAs last night, but the award we're most excited about is Best Latino Artist! For the past several weeks, there has been a heated battle brewing between Don Omar, Enrique Iglesias, Prince Royce, Maná, and Wisin y Yandel. And now we're happy to announce that W y Y have "officially" taken it down!

Of course we won't get to hear their acceptance speech until Monday September 5, when the VMAs get broadcast on Tr3s. But Wisin y Yandel did issue a brief statement thanking fans for their win.

"It is a privilege to be nominated for this 'Best Latino Artist' award and an honor to receive this award, voted by the fans," they said. "This award is proof that hard work and perseverance can lead you to your goals. Thank you to the fans and Tr3 for their continued support."

Obviously with millions of records sold (and a hot new single with Ricky Martin), these two more than deserve it. Not only that, they're great guys and do A LOT of charitable work within the Latin community. Congratulations to Wisin y Yandel on their big win!

You know you're a pretty important star if your pregnancy overshadows the entire 2011 Video Music Awards. But that's what happened Sunday night when Beyoncé debuted her baby bump on the MTV black carpet. Though Jay-Z and B gossip did dominate the night, the VMAs still delivered plenty of great moments, like retro Bruno Mars jams and greaser punk Gagas!

As promised, Lady Gaga opened the show with a big surprise. Rather than don another outlandish outfit, the Little Monster mixed things up and came dressed as a man for her performance of "You and I." Interestingly, Gaga's “dude” persona hung around most of the night, flirting with sexy lady celebs like Britney Spears.

Britney happened to get quite a bit of love from both the fans and the voters. Her "Till The World Ends" took home the award for Best Pop Video and she got the night's Vanguard Award. Lady Gaga's male alter-ego expressed deep admiration for the "Toxic" singer and even attempted to kiss her onstage.

Another big tribute of the night was dedicated to the memory of soul singer, Amy Winehouse. Bruno Mars honored her with a spirited performance of "Valerie" and friend Russell Brand gave a heartfelt speech from the podium.

"She was a mate of mine and tragically this year we lost her," Russell said. "This is not just another London chancer, not just another person milling about waiting to be famous. What is this incredible sound? This timeless sound like a roar from the guts of humanity? The kind of voice that Billie Holiday sung with, the kind of voice that Ella Fitzgerald sung with."

Undoubtedly, the biggest performance of the night came from mommy-to-be Beyoncé.

Though she didn’t speak publicly about her pregnancy, the 29-year-old superstar made a point to rub her belly after an energetic performance of "Love On Top." The cameras then pointed to proud papa Jay-Z, who enthusiastically cheered from his seat.

As far as the awards went, Katy Perry and Adele came out the big winners. Katy's "Firework" won for Video of the Year and her "E.T." nabbed Best Visual Effects. Adele's "Rolling in the Deep" video scored Best Art Direction, Best Editing, and Best Cinematography.

Perry seemed rather humbled after winning the night’s biggest trophy, saying from the stage,

"Thank you so much! This is my second Moonman. I'm very proud of the song it stands for, which is ‘Firework.' I feel like I am doing something right when I sing that song. So thanks to everyone who helped create it!"

Katy also got a bit of notoriety for her fashion sense. Wearing what looked like a giant cube on her hand, she arrived sporting purple hair and a multicolored dress. Selena Gomez also got plenty of comments for her ensemble. Looking almost like an early Halloween costume, her vampy black dress was both sleek and spooky.

The Jersey Shore girls also got plenty of attention for their outrageous outfits. Deena Cortese practically blinded the paparazzi with her overly bright rainbow dress and Snooki was spotted in a getup that looked like something out of Conan The Barbarian.

But it was Nicki Minaj's fashion choice that got the most bloggers buzzing. She showed up in a geometrically-inspired dress, complete with a polka-dot ninja mask and Candy Land beehive! But of course, it all added to the fun of a very "colorful" night.

Be sure to check out the "official" VMA website for the complete winner list!

Set your TiVos, MTV's Video Music Awards are just two short days away. And this week, more info has leaked about what fans can expect at the annual Moon Man bash. Interestingly, the network has revealed that there will be no "official" host this year, but tons of famous faces are expected to light up the stage.

The performer garnering the most attention right now is undoubtedly Lady Gaga. The Little Monster is set to open the show and promises plenty of her trademark "surprises." Will she arrive in a giant egg? Don a new "meat dress?" Or show up half naked? Anything is possible.

"I'm really very honored and excited to open the show," Gaga told MTV News. "But I won't reveal anything! I want it to be a surprise."

Beyoncé also got added to the performer's list this week, though she hasn't revealed exactly which song she’ll be singing. She'll be joining the VMA live roster of Adele, Bruno Mars, Chris Brown, and Young The Giant.

One other track we can't wait to see at the VMAs is Pitbull and Ne-Yo's "Give Me Everything." Partially because we love the song, but also because of that ongoing drama with Lindsay Lohan. Pit famously extended a VMA invitation to LiLo, which she has not responded to. But you never know. This awards show is famous for "surprises".

Another interesting aspect of Sunday's show is the Lifetime Achievement Award that's getting handed out. Though she's not yet 30-years-old, Britney Spears will be 2011’s honoree. Rumor has it that artists like Selena Gomez, Demi Lovato, and even Janet Jackson will be performing renditions of her famous songs.

And as far as the presenters go, you can expect to see Victoria Justice, Zoe Saldana, and Drake all handing out awards. Even new bride Kim Kardashian will reportedly be taking the stage to announce winners.

It all sounds very exciting to us. You can keep up with all the coverage on Blogamole and don't forget to make your picks for our favorite category, Best Latin Artist!

Be warned, you may have a tough decision ahead. Starting this Friday, Tr3s is giving you the opportunity to vote for this year’s Best Latino Artist, in celebration of the MTV Video Music Awards. Will it be Don Omar, Enrique Iglesias, Maná, Prince Royce, or Wisin y Yandel? Your mouse click may hold the answer.

Now let’s think about this for a second. Don Omar rocked the house this year with his Meet The Orphans album and that "Danza Kudoro" video. But Enrique had that killer “Tonight (I'm Loving You)” track and some dynamite performances with Pitbull.

Maná has been on fire too, breaking records left and right with their Drama y Luz album. And if you’ve been checking Blogamole lately, you'll know how much Prince Royce's music has been in the news. Though, if your loyalty lies with Wisin y Yandel, that’s perfectly cool too. Especially when you consider the live shows those guys have put together.

So basically, this is a REALLY tough decision. And keep in mind, whoever you pick will appear on Tr3s to accept their award on September 5. So pump up your playlist, concentrate, and choose wisely, because the fate of this year's Best Latino Artist is in your hands!

The polls will be open from Friday July 29 to Friday August 19!

It's hard to believe another MTV VMA  is creeping upon us. And what an incredible year it's been for music videos! There were those funky gorilla masks in Bruno Mars' "The Lazy Song," wild space aliens in Katy Perry's "E.T.," and tons more! Now they're all looking to get honored with today's announcement of the 2011 VMA nominees.

Katy Perry is undoubtedly leading the pack this year. Scoring a whopping nine nominations, she's in the running for Video of the Year, Best Female Video, and Best Collaboration (just to name a few). One of our personal Perry favorites, "Last Friday Night" even made it into the Best Pop Video category.

Bruno Mars is continuing to prove his rising star status with four nominations. Both his "Grenades" and "Lazy Song" videos made it onto the VMA list. The 25-year-old crooner seemed very touched by the honor and made sure to share his gratitude with the Twitterverse.

"4 Nominations!?!?!?! THANK YOU @MTV," he wrote.

Pitbull's "Give Me Everything" is continuing to prove its staying power with a nomination for Best Collaboration. Who knows? If all goes according to plan, Pit could walk away with a  Moon Man for the track.

Other big contenders at the VMAs will be Adele, who scored seven nominations, and Nicki Minaj, who received three noms. Even Lady Gaga's controversial "Judas" video seemed to impress the MTV voters, nabbing a slot in the Best Choreography category.

Though no host has been announced for the VMA show yet, we imagine MTV will be looking to cast a very colorful character (as they have in years' past). And they better hurry, the entire event is set to go down August 28 at L.A.'s Nokia Theatre.

As has been proven over and over again by Sofia Vergara, who dazzled at the 2010 MTV VMAs, few things are as sexy as a confident Colombian woman. Demonstrating this point yet again and bringing a sexy new pop, rap, dance sabor to the music world comes la Colombiana Yahaira and her first studio album named, you guessed it, Sexy.

Yahaira comes well-equipped for her debut, teaming up with NY-based rapper Lil Mama para su nuevo sencillo bilingüe, "Sexiest." The best part of this news? Tr3s is giving you this song de gratis! Since Yahaira is our new Free Latin Music artist, all you dance music lovers can download her latest track for free!

Not only was Yahaira raised within a musical family and writing poetry at a very young age, the singer/songwriter gave her first stage performance a la tierna edad de 6 añitos, before a crowd of 3,000 people. Now that's an impressive little girl! By the age of 9, she was already the lead voice in her church choir, and her schoolmates would dub her "La Cantante" or "La Poeta." Después de sufrir una tragedia familiar, where her father was shot and almost killed, Yahaira learned a lesson of strength and perseverance that she would carry with her, motivating her to move to Bogotá, and then finally come to the United States in pursuit of her dream.

Mucho ha pasado desde esos años inocentes, and Yahaira is all grown up and ready to flaunt her sexiness! So go ahead and check out her naughty bilingual new single "Sexiest" on our Free Latin Music page and hear it for yourselves.

Another incredible MTV Video Music Awards has come and gone and just like past shows, the 2010 festivities were full of shocks, surprises, and a whole lot of fun! Keeping things very unconventional, this year’s event (held at L.A.'s Nokia Theatre) ditched the red carpet vibe for a celebrity runway colored strictly with black and white.

And Team Blogamole was right there in the mix, getting exclusive one-on-ones with Latinos like Taio Cruz, Pitbull, Snooki from “Jersey Shore”, and host Chelsea Handler’s little buddy, Chuy! They all expressed massive enthusiasm for the event and even got a little starstruck themselves once “The Biebs” showed up.

Yup, biggies like Justin Bieber, Drake, and a peacock-studded Lady Gaga got fans in the stands cheering like crazy (and made for great Tr3s photo opps!). The night’s fashion statements ranged from the classy elegance of Sofia Vergara (can she ever look bad?), to a giant mouse head worn by VMA house artist, deadmau5. And interestingly, they all seemed to work!

And how about the event itself? Well, you can expect a lot of exciting costumes and surprises from Gaga, of course, who may have even been outshone by the mother of all fashionistas, Cher!  If you missed out on all the big winners, you'll have to wait until we re-air the whole show on September 18th at 5pm EST!  Curious about who won the Tr3s Artist Of The Year award?  That, too, will be revealed during our special rebroadcast featuring subtítulos en Español.  No te lo pierdas!

Kanye West is apologizing to Taylor Swift...again. Mr. West took to his Twitter in a self proclaimed “stream of consciousness” not only to apologize to Swift but apparently, to allow us to “feel where is head is at”.

Unless you've been living under a rock for the past year, you are well aware of the 2009 MTV Video Award fiasco where Kanye rudely interrupted Taylor Swift's acceptance speech for best female video award, arguing that Beyoncé's “Single Ladies (Put a Ring on it)” was more deserving. Kanye – back from a brief hiatus –  is ready to set the record straight (no pun intended).

He described his behavior:

“With the help of strong will, a lack of empathy, a lil alcohol and extremely distasteful & bad timing ... I became George Bush over night.”

Made us aware of the repercussions:

“People booed when I would go to concerts and the performer mentioned my name. [...] People don’t dislike me...they absolutely hate me!”

Then it almost seems as if he's trying to justify his actions:

“I am not a bad person. Even in that moment I was only trying to do good but people don’t always need my help.”

But then he clarifies,

“Beyoncé didn’t need that. MTV didn’t need that and Taylor and her family friends and fans definitely didn’t want or need that.”

'Ye goes on to tweet about how the whole situation was a conspiracy that turned into a race issue, plus how he wonders about whether the songs he writes could be a country song or a Broadway hit, and followed that up with even more off-topic commentary, including his favorite unit of measurement - all while talking about himself in the 3rd person.

Through all the craziness and twit banter, believe it or not, his underlying message was: “Im sorry Taylor.

He even admitted to writing a song for her:

“I wrote a song for Taylor Swift that's so beautiful and I want her to have it. If she wont take it then i'll perform it for her.”

Is it coincidence that Yeezy would choose to rehash Taylor-gate, write a new song for her and offer to perform it with the 2010 MTV Video Music Awards less than a week away? We think not!

The 2010 MTV Video Music Awards are set to air on MTV on Sunday, September 12 at 9pm EST, and don't miss it on Tr3s, with subtítulos en Español, airing on September 18thYou still have time to vote for Tr3s Latino Artist of the Year, so cast your vote ahora mismo!

Do you think Kanye was sincere or was it just a publicity stunt?  Will you be watching the VMAs?  Tell us in the comments or @MTV3!
