Wondering what Penelope Cruz has in the works next?

The Spanish actress has received endless critical praise for her role in "Vicky Christina Barcelona," including the most recent Goya Award for "Best Supporting Actress." Penelope may play psychotic lover, Maria Elena just like Woody Allen envisioned, but the bella brunette is switching scripts and working on a new musical, "Nine" directed by Rob Marshall. The film weaves together a play within a play, and follows the complex romantic endeavors of director Guido Contini. Cruz is set to play the mistress Carla in the film.
MTV News caught-up with Penelope to find out more about her new role:
We all sing and dance. Its very scary because with singing there is no where to hide. People see your good and bad. You feel vulnerable, but its been a beautiful experience. We have one more month to go.
Sounds like a must-see movie already. Let's hope she wins the Oscar's on February 22nd! Keeping our fingers crossed...[MTV News]

Despite David Archuleta reaching voting age after the Presidential election in November...

The "Crush" singer was speaking-up for los jovenes with a positive voz at the Latino Inaugural Gala in Washington, D.C. over the weekend. The humble 18-year-old felt honored to be a part of the celebration even though he didn't form part of the performance line-up, which included Marc Anthony, Lila Downs, Paulina Rubio, and Alejandro Sanz. Imagine if he hit the stage? He would have definitely given Marc's romantic ballads some (much-needed) competition.
MTV Tr3s and Terra spoke to the American Idol graduate about his upcoming tour and more. Check it right below and shout-out your amor for David Archuleta!

Rosario Dawson urged los jovenes to hit the polls as co-founder of Voto Latino; last night she celebrated record youth voter turnout in the '08 election at the Latino Inaugural Gala.

The "Seven Pounds" actress spoke (quickly, we might add) about the electric energy running through las calles of Washington, D.C. this inauguration season. While her movie career may be considered at the top of her priorities list, the New York native admits she is most proud of her work with non-profit Voto Latino. Although she maintained a bipartisan perspective towards the candidates during Election season, there is no doubt that Rosario is now shouting "Obamanos" con orgullo.
MTV Tr3s and Terra interviewed Rosario Dawson about meeting Barack Obama for the first time and what she expects for our country's future during the gala. This chica definitely has a lot to say!
