More details about Summit Entertainment's "The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn" were announced yesterday and Team Blogamole has everything you need to know, right here!
Based on the fourth book in Stephenie Meyer's Twilight series (for the uninitiated, check out this series of videos with Meyer), the film will be released sometime in 2011. There is still no word as to whether the 754-page book will be split up into two films a la "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows."

Directer: Bill Condon
Condon, who beat out Gus Van Sant and Sofia Coppola for the gig, is well known for directing movies such as "Dreamgirls," "Kinsey," and "Gods and Monsters." He also wrote the screenplay for the movie adaptation of the musical "Chicago."
Some of the cast already approves - Ashley Greene told MTV last month that "if [Condon] were to direct, I'd be right there in his ear going, 'So you know, I used to dance and I can sing.'"
MovieLine weighed in on Condon's strengths and had a few snarky ideas to share about what he could bring to the 'Twilight' franchise, including this one:
"...Covered so many aspects of human sexuality in Kinsey — including man-on-wife, man-on-Sarsgaard, wasp-on-wasp, and WASP-on-WASP — that Breaking Dawn’s taboo-breaking love scenes of girl-on-vampire and teenage-boy-on-vampire-baby should be a cinch."
Added Stephenie Meyer, "I'm so thrilled that Bill wants to work with us. I think he's going to be a great fit, and I'm excited to see what he does with the material."

Writer: Melissa Rosenberg
With all previous "Twilight" scripts under her belt, Rosenberg is prepared to take on the epic finale that will more than likely rely heavily on CGI. The screenwriter is committed to making sure "Breaking Dawn" is rated PG-13 (as the two earlier films were) - with nothing from the story sacrificed in the process.
"That's your audience," she told Film.com. "In this series, you don't sacrifice anything. There are some movies that wouldn't play at PG-13, like 'The Hangover,' but this is just not one of them for me. Again, if you're capturing character, emotion and emotional journey, you're OK."
It will be interesting to see what Rosenberg does with the book's complex and graphic storylines, which include the birth of a half-vampire, half-human baby.
Confirmed Cast (so far): Kristen Stewart (Bella), Robert Pattinson (Edward Cullen), Taylor Lautner (Jacob Black), Ashley Greene (Alice Cullen), Anna Kendrick (Jessica) and Peter Facinelli (Dr. Carlisle Cullen)
Back in January, MTV News asked the "Breaking Dawn" cast to reveal anything they could share about the production.
They were understandably secretive, but here is something Kristen shared:
Title Origins
"Breaking Dawn" is a reference to the beginning of Bella's life as a newborn vampire. The cover is a metaphor for Bella's progression throughout the entire series; she began as the physically weakest player on the board, the pawn, but at the end she becomes the strongest, the queen.

Rumors
There are many, but we've isolated the top 4:
Production Dates
It seems the production will start in October. According to Ok! Magazine, some of the Twilight cast members were making an appearance at a Twi convention and were asked about Breaking Dawn filming. Kristen Stewart said "We don't know yet," but Christian Serratos, who plays Angela in the movies jumped in and said "No, October."
Location
The Twilight cast may be headed back to Vancouver, but with scenes in the movie which would include a wedding, a birth and many more, it's possible that one location on it's own won't suffice.
One Movie Or Two?
"Breaking Dawn" is supposed to be the fourth and final movie in the popular Twilight vampire series, so the burning question - will Breaking Dawn be broken into two movies - has been circulating for some time. Today's announcement didn't say it would only be one movie, which is to say the Breaking Dawn two movie rumor is still going strong.
If two films are made, Summit will have to negotiate new deals with the main cast (Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson, and Taylor Lautner) since they are only under contract for four films.
3D/IMAX
By now we know that 'Eclipse' will be in IMAX but not 3D, so what formats can we expect for 'Breaking Dawn'?
How To Prepare
"The Twilight Saga: Eclipse" will hit theaters on June 30. Go see it, wear the ring, read all the books again and prepare yourself for the final (or, part 1 of the final?) "Twilight" movie!
Tr3s Comunidad, what other rumors have you heard about "Breaking Dawn"? Tell us in the comments or @MTV3!

Last week’s new "Twilight Eclipse" trailer sent many fans (including Oprah!) into a frenzy. If you're feeling blue about this being "the final" trailer, YouTube has got you covered — some genius took the last two 'Eclipse' trailers and created a mashup that is full of win.
Are you screaming yet?! Twi-Hard merch lovers, here's the latest:
MTV UK recently announced that fans will soon be able to wear a ring just like Bella’s in "Twilight Eclipse"! Stephenie Meyer has teamed up with Infinite Jewelry Co. to work on the flash memorabilia.
In the latest film, Edward Cullen presents his love Bella with an engagement ring and now fans can feel part of the event — for a price, of course. The sparkling gold ring will reportedly cost $2,000, although a much cheaper $35 version is also set to hit shops.
We're sorry to report that RPattz does not come with the ring (sad face).
"Twilight Eclipse" will be released in theaters (standard and IMAX) on June 30th.
Tr3s Comunidad, was the mashup glorious, or what? Will you buy an 'Eclipse' ring? Sound off in the comments or @MTV3!

No secret — Team Blogamole loves MTV Movies! Our colleagues Brian Jacks and Matt Harper recently completed a most geektastic achievement: re-creating the "Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time" movie trailer using nothing but Legos.
We want to play with toys all day too (hello, Silly Bands!), but we're not hatin'. Here are two minutes of stop-motion goodness:
Aren't the pint-sized versions of Jake Gyllenhaal, Ben Kingsley, Gemma Arterton and Alfred Molina adorable?
Let's compare it to the live-action trailer, after the jump! Read more...

Team Blogamole is all about Zoe Saldana this week! She stars in The Losers," hitting theaters today (April 23)!
Giselle went to an advanced screening last night and had a blast. Here is her instant reaction:
"The Losers" is not your typical comic book movie. These guys don’t have any super powers, they weren’t bitten by any radioactive insects and they’re certainly not millionaire superheroes with too much time on their hands. These are a group of 5 guys who are waging a war against the CIA.
They couldn’t have picked five better characters to play "The Losers." There’s the lonesome, mysterious leader with a heart (Clay), the ruthless second in command who’s just a little too resentful about his position (Roque), the funny, quirky yet surprisingly good looking tech guy (Jensen), the skilled navigator that can drive anything on land air and sea but is also a loving family man (Pooch) and the quiet but deadly expert sniper with the sombrero (Cougar). And of course there’s the bad ass chica with vengeance on her agenda (Aisha).
Angelina Jolie, watch out — Zoe Saldana brought out the big guns for this movie!
The villain, Max, keeps you entertained throughout the whole movie with his smart ass remarks. You may even find yourself almost not wanting him to get caught just yet, I know I did. He reminded me of The Joker from "The Dark Night," the type of villain that just wants to see the world blow up for no reason in particular and is too casual about being so evil.
There was plenty of action, laughs and twists and turns that will leave you con la boca abierta (that’s if you haven’t already read the comics). I walked out of the theater with the feeling that this wasn’t the last I’ve seen of The Losers.
That's the Blogamole verdict, Tr3s Comunidad: this movie is hot! Zoe recently told us which hip hop artists have what it takes to join "The Losers." In today's clip, find out what song she jammed to at the "Losers" wrap party:
If you can't wait to see "The Losers" in action, there are awesome picks of Zoe in our "The Losers" photo gallery. Hungry for more? Watch everything we've got in our "The Losers" video playlist.

Antonio Banderas, Melanie Griffith, and their daughter Stella were on the cover of this week's Hola! Magazine.
It's hard to believe la pareja will celebrate their 14th wedding anniversary next month. Who thought this pairing would ever last?!
Banderas has even helped Melanie through three stints in rehab and her struggles with what she describes as a 30-year-old substance-abuse problem. Hey, now that's love!
The couple was spotted at last night's premiere of "Shrek Forever After," in which the handsome Spaniard is "seen" as the swashbuckling feline Puss in Boots.
Having Griffith back in top shape must be wonderful. Banderas had this to say:
"Absolutely. We are stronger right now than we were."
Also in attendance at last night's premiere was Antonio's Shrek co-star Cameron Diaz. The blonde surf girl wore her hair pulled back in a low ponytail and looked wonderful while decked in Lanvin from head to toe: a black knee-length dress with peplum and black elastic belt, single-drop crystal earrings and bracelet, as well as nude leather pumps with a clear stiletto heel and a black satin bag with a tulle & chain strap.

"Shrek Forever After" will be in theaters May 21. Look for it in 3D and IMAX 3D!

What if your religion was very non-traditional? "American Mystic," a new documentary by Alex Mar, explores the lives of people who have separated themselves from mainstream America to attain spiritual goals. The film will premiere April 22 at the 2010 Tribeca Film Festival.
Intertwining very intimate, apolitical portraits, "American Mystic" attempts to capture your imagination with compelling characters: Kublai, a Spiritualist in the former revivalist district of upstate New York; Chuck, a Lakota sundancer in the badlands of South Dakota; and Morpheus, a pagan priestess living off the grid in old mining country in southern California.
I contacted Cuban American director Alex Mar to learn more about what her journey into Spiritualism was like, obstacles she faced during production and how her Catholic upbringing influenced her work. "American Mystic" is her feature debut.

Alex Mar on location for "American Mystic"
Tr3s: What are some myths or negative misconceptions about Spiritualism that you’d like to clarify for the Tr3s Comunidad?
Mar: As I understand it, Spiritualism is about the continuity of life after our physical body has died, and the continuity of our relationships with those who have passed away before us. So you can speak to the dead through mediumship — but, as Kublai asks in the film, "What's death?"
Spiritualists have also historically been among the most open-minded and progressive Americans. The first women allowed to speak openly in a public forum were Spiritualist pastors. Abraham Lincoln consulted with a Spiritualist advisor.
There's a lot of emphasis in the history books on the showmanship of the early days of Spiritualism — table-tipping, seances, spoon-bending (as you see in my film) — but that was merely meant to bring attention to the bigger picture.

Team Blogamole is all about Zoe Saldana this week! We can't wait to see her shine in The Losers," hitting theaters this Friday (April 23).

On Monday, Saldana told us which hip hop artists have what it takes to join "The Losers." The film is going to have a bangin' soundtrack, but we know what our Tr3s Comunidad wants — action, and this film shouldn't disappoint!
Not one to shy away from new experiences, the actress dove into her first real screen fight. "It's exciting," Zoe said, "the fact that I'm able to do something I've never done before intrigues me like you wouldn't believe. It's the hook that gets me, always."
There is a scene in "The Losers" where Aisha (Zoe Saldana) and Clay (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) have an intense conversation — while beating the crap out of each other. In this clip, Saldana shares what it was like to take on a big guy like Jeffrey:
Zoe has mad style, speaks her mind on better roles for women and is crazy talented. On top of that, she has action chops? Watch out, Angie! Could there be a new leading lady in town — winning hearts and kick butt?
In a recent interview with Latina Magazine, Zoe had this to say about preparing for an action role:
"It’s definitely difficult, because you are doing something that does not come naturally. What helped is having a dance background. I have this relationship with my body. I’ve been an athlete the entire time. I love when women can incorporate their body with their character. Since I was very little, I was never Snow White or Cinderella. I was Sarah Connor (from the Terminator movies) or Ellen Ripley (from the Aliens movies), or a ninja. There were days that I was down for three days and had to go to the doctors, but I love the challenge. It definitely helps when you can incorporate your body into your character."
Like Angelina Jolie, Saldana doesn't appear to be satisfied with being pigeonholed. Team Blogamole would like to think Hollywood can handle more than one multifaceted actress, with Zoe Saldana leading the way for others.
Can't get enough of Zoe Saldana? Watch everything we've got in our "The Losers" video playlist.
Tr3s Comunidad, are you hitting theaters this weekend to see "The Losers"? Share your verdict in the comments or @MTV3! We'll include your thoughts in our "The Losers" review post next week.

"They just f*cked with the wrong Mexican!"
Machete fans, your time has come. Robert Rodriguez's flick about the blade-wielding, ex-Federale will be released Labor Day weekend 2010, Variety confirms. "Machete" is based on Rodriguez's faux trailer for "Grindhouse," in which a mysterious day laborer (with a large knife collection) is hired to assassinate a Senator, only to be double-crossed and nearly killed. Now, he’s out for revenge.
Danny Trejo, who plays the lead, recently sat down with IGN Movies and had this to say about the upcoming film:
"It is going to be awesome. We duplicate scenes from the trailer in the movie. What that movie has is the three B's, what I like to call the three B's. And what that is is babes, bullets and blood. And then it's got machetes, too. The film takes off from the trailer and then it just gets so over the top. I think the movie really lives up to the trailer. I'm really, really proud of it."
Are you excited yet? If you like star power with your three B's, "Machete" has you covered: Robert De Niro, Jessica Alba, Michelle Rodriquez, Lindsay Lohan, Steven Seagal, Cheech Marin and more play supporting roles.
Tr3s Comunidad, are you excited about "Machete"? Let us know in the comments or @MTV3!

Team Blogamole loves Zoe Saldana! She's stylish, speaks her mind and is crazy talented. We can't wait to see her kick butt in "The Losers," hitting theaters April 23!

After shooting such an intense action film, Saldana's wake-up music tastes have changed from easy listening to hard bodied! Drawing from her latest picks, the starlette told us which hip hop artists have what it takes to join "The Losers":
Based on the Vertigo comic books written by Andy Diggle, "The Losers" is about an elite U.S. Special Forces unit sent into the Bolivian jungle on a search and destroy mission. After the group is betrayed and decides to even the score, they're joined by the mysterious Aisha (Zoe Saldana), a beautiful operative with her own agenda. Working together, they must defeat the heavily-guarded Max, a ruthless man bent on embroiling the world in a new high-tech global war.
In case you missed it, a sexy new "Losers" trailer was released last week, check it out!

DIY defenders of justice, grab your capes! "Kick-Ass" is hitting theaters tomorrow (April 16) but the fun doesn't have to stop there — the complete "Kick-Ass" comic series is now available for iPad, iPhone and iPod Touch. PSP users can even download directly to their device!

John Romita Jr, artist and co-creator of Kick-Ass, had this to say:
“I'm excited about these advances in technology that I have been hearing about for, what seems like ten years. Now it has arrived, and all I can think of is that it advances the state of ‘comic books’ in that it will direct people to the source material. I believe this will cement the tangible material, the comics themselves, into the hands and minds of future ‘young’ generations!
It always comes down to the quality of writing and the sequential art. Holding a comic and turning the page for more will forever be a novelty, even with advanced technology as an option.”
To download "Kick-Ass" comics to your mobile devices, use the Comixology, Iverse and Panefly applications or search on your PSP.
"Kick-Ass" the movie is director Matthew Vaughn's big-screen vision for the hit comic series about a teenage (surprise) comics fan who decides to become a costumed vigilante. It stars Aaron Johnson, Nicolas Cage, Mark Strong, Christopher Mintz-Plasse and Chloe Moretz.
What do you think, Tr3s Comunidad? Are you psyched for "Kick-Ass"? Will you download the comics? Let us know here in the comments or @MTV3!
