Mr. Mariah Carey Nick Cannon did the sweetest thing for his wifey last night. To celebrate their quickie wedding nuptials Nick rented out Six Flags Magic Mountain for wife Mariah Carey and 100 of their closest amigos. The cost is rumored to be in the six figures! Aww, that sounds like so much fun. Why can’t our novios do that for us? Oh yea, cause they broke! The park was decorated with pink and purple balloons and a banner that read: Mariah and Nick – A Love Story. Um, is there a book coming out about these two or something? [Lossip]

Just because you have the body, doesn’t mean you have to flaunt it. Mario Lopez revealed he’s been offered to pose nude for Playgirl magazine but “politely declined” because it’s not something he would do at the moment. Great, there goes our intimate nighttime fun. You may not be able to catch Mario in the buff but you can see him pumping it up in his new book, Mario Lopez’s Knockout Fitness, where his novia Karina Smirnoff makes a small appearance in the dance workout chapter. Despite the countless break-up rumors, the ‘fitness’ couple is still going strong according to Lopez. [E!]

We all know Shakira is no stranger to philanthropy but still, we love spotlighting this girl’s achievements in the Latino community. She just recently signed an agreement with her foundation, Pies Descalzos, to boost la educación in three Colombian schools -- La Victoria in Quibdó, Las Américas in Barranquilla and Gabriel García Márquez school in Soacha. Claro que sí, Shaki will be creating more awareness este fin de semana when she performs at ALAS on May 17 in Argentina. Now that summer is approaching more artists are touring like locos and you can expect one of those locos to be Akon. He hinted to MTV Radio that he will set up a late summer tour with all his amigos at Konvict Muzik, which includes our Descubre and Download artist Colby O’Donis! We can’t wait to see that happen. We're not the only hot shots delivering you the chisme. Our beloved hermanos at MTV Buzzworthy helped us snag a miradita of Menudo during their Bandemonium tour, a 17-gig stint across the U.S. with boy bands NLT, Glowb and VFactory. After watching Menudo's first 'Bandemonium' tour diary submission it looks like the guys are headed off to a fine start. They look fine too! Ay Dios, we’re acting like a couple of school girls in love. So what did we learn about these popthrobs in Bandemonium Part 1? Apparently, greasy food is Menudo’s food of choice -- Jose loves using the microwave for heating up his precious pizza. Oh that Diddy, he’s such a matchmaker. Well if you haven’t then it’s time to get to know this young Latina porque esta chica is getting a lot of buzz, especially since she may be replacing Miley Cyrus as Disney's next big estrella. That’s what Disney apparently wants and we all know whatever Disney wants, Disney gets -- look at what they did to Times Square! Since Miley’s recent “scandal” with Vanity Fair -- which we think is total bull crap BTW -- Disney has been searching for another squeaky clean starlet to take her place. We’ve seen Disney stars gone wild before, let’s see if this 15-year-old has a tough enough stage-mami who can keep her in check.

You know what the best part about Reaper coming back for a second season on the CW is? That we get see Rick Gonzalez play the show’s accidental-prone character, Ben, in this chistoso dark comedy! Unfortunately, the CW is ‘going cheap’ on Reaper by giving the show only 13 new episodes, way below Gossip Girl, which has just been approved for 24 episodes! Reaper may not have an awesome “OMFG” ad like Gossip Girl but we prefer this Latino hunk any day. Keep sending in those socks people! [EW]

Today es una gran celebración para Kat DeLuna as she boogies on down to NYC for her inauguration as the new International Ambassador for the Latino Commission on AIDS! Gael García Bernal was last year’s ambassador and now our very own Fiesta Broadway princess will take on the role! She’ll be joined by DJ Nacotheque and Yerba Buena among other stars for tonight’s special event. We can only think of one song to boost this girl’s morale on creating AIDS awareness. You go girl!

We all remember Salma Hayek when she was just a young telenovela star. No? Alright we lied, we don't remember either but her biggest fan sure does! The actress was asked to autograph a 1988 photo of her with the cast of telenovela Un Nuevo Amanecer. Apparently Salma refused to sign because the photo looked nothing like her, leaving her fan crushed. In Salma’s defense, that photo was taken in 1988. Anyone who lived through the 80’s wouldn’t be able to recognize themselves during those hideous fashion days! [Lossip]
