Who can you spot in the video?  We're kinda digging on the remix portion where Pitbull and Daddy Yankee come in over the electric guitar... and we're dying to know, who is that mystery guitarrista?

Watch the video below, and weigh in -- que te parece la versión en Español?  Cual es tu parte favorita? Who else would you have liked to see in the video?

We all know that Shakira is an amazingly talented singer and dancer, pero la sexy Colombiana is also a leading advocate for children and the founder of ALAS, a non-profit organization that promotes Early Childhood Development (ECD) policies in Latin America and the Caribbean.

Yesterday, the Grammy Award-winning artist joined forces with the president of the World Bank, Robert Zoellick, to launch an $300 million Early Childhood Initiative.  The program will go towards funding development programs that will provide children from birth to 6 years of age with adequate nutrition, health care, and stimulating environments to give every child a fair start. There are approximately 22 million children in Latin America who have no access to education, and Shakira is making every effort to try to change that and help ensure a more positive future that will boost economic growth, global security, and peace by investing in early education for children. Que buena causa, verdad?

Before arriving at the World Bank, Shakira had the opportunity to discuss with President Obama their shared interest for the promotion of ECD programs in Latinoamerica as well as in the US.
According to Shakira:
"Education has the power to change children’s lives but also the lives of their families and entire communities."

With some small talk about the President's immigration reform, Obama assured the singer that his staff is doing everything possible to address the 11 million undocumented people in the country.

The combined efforts of ALAS and those of the World Bank and other leading organizations ensure a brighter future for the children en países latinos.  Shakira, thank you for being such an influential Agente de Cambio!

Nelly Furtado has partnered with MTV Tr3s and Let's Move! to help end the childhood obesity epidemic within this generation. Nelly has created a Public Service Announcement to highlight the cause. The goal of this campaign is to help Americans unite and support parents who request healthier food be provided in schools, encourage kids to become more physically active, and make healthy, affordable food available nationwide.

A press conference was held in Washington, D.C. today by Michelle Obama to endorse the campaign. Former NFL player and NBC Football analyst, Tiki Barber, was Master of Ceremonies at the event and encouraged all kids to get out and play. New York Yankee Curtis Granderson was also on hand to represent Major League Baseball and help support Let's Move!

Please take a look at this very important message from Nelly Furtado below. Recuerda, you have a choice; so make it a healthy one!

The Colombian Humanitarian announced this morning that she's building a new school in Haiti through her Barefoot Foundation.

Her foundation will partner with Architecture for Humanity to build the school as well as work to provide education, school feeding, clean water and sanitation services. Shakira stated:

“There is a great need for immediate aid in Haiti, but also for longer-term reconstruction. For that reason, we are doing our small part to help Haiti rebuild and give the children affected by this disaster the chance to learn and thrive. I hope we can use some of what we’ve learned working in Colombia to help Haiti’s children recover. When we educate children we empower societies, and right now Haiti needs all of our help.”  (PerezHilton)

It's not a complicated process. Donors simply call into the telethon and pledge various financial contributions to the person on the other end of the line. But instead of an everyday volunteer, "Hope for Haiti Now: A Global Benefit for Earthquake Relief" which airs Friday at 8 p.m. ET, will feature some fans-favorite entertainers soliciting funds.

"It'll be the biggest bank of faces that you recognize answering the phones,"  said George Clooney.

Clooney is hoping the star power will help the charitable effort reel in much-needed money for the survivors in Haiti.

Shakira, Christina Aguilera, Jay-Z, Beyoncé, and Madonna are among the superstars set to perform at the event, while former President Bill Clinton and Will Smith are some of the notable names who will make appearances.

Clooney is thankful to all the stars who have volunteered their time in one way or another. He was particularly excited about those who will be manning the phones.

"You got about 130 to 140 actors, athletes, singers and television hosts, and they're all coming up not to be on TV, but simply to answer the phones," he marveled.  (MTVNEWS)
