Team Barbie! Britney Spears confirmed Tuesday morning via her website that Nicki Minaj has joined the pop princess' Femme Fatale tour kicking off June 16th in Sacramento. Minaj, along with Jessie and the Toy Boys and Nervo, complete the all female line-up and are slated to appear at every North American tour stop.

Brit said in a statement:

"This is the Femme Fatale tour and I'm thrilled to have the hot Nicki Minaj join me and Jessie and the Toy Boys and Nervo will get everyone on the dance floor," said Spears. "Can't wait to take the Femme Fatales on the road."

This is the latest in a series of good news for the pop star. Brit's collaboration with Rihanna on her Rihmix to "S&M" just premiered on the internet to fan praise and has already reached number 4 on iTunes. The ladies teamed up after Rihanna probed her fans via Twitter as to who they'd most like to see her collaborate with on a song earlier this month. It wasn't until Sunday that Rih Rih teased fans with the joint venture.

"I got a #SEXY collabo comin your way supa dupa soon!!!! OH YEAH!!! By popular demand...."

Following that up with:

"Its BRITNEY BITCH!!!!"

"@britneyspears one of the biggest worldwide popstars! U gangsta #EPIC"

"MAJAH Rihmix to S&M MAJAH!!!! #S&Mrihmix #itsBRITNEYbitch"

Additionally, Ms. Spears seventh studio album continues to reign the top spot on the Billboard charts, and while Brit has caught flack for not writing any songs on the English version of the LP, she has taken her talents elsewhere, penning a track for Selena Gomez's forthcoming June album called "Whiplash."

Seems like Brit Brit is having the best week ever!

Eva Longoria made the media rounds recently as she promoted her latest entrepreneurial venture, a Mexican themed cookbook titled Eva's Kitchen: Cooking with Love for Family and Friends, which hit bookstores on April 5th.

While the Desperate Housewives star's place in the kitchen may seem foreign to many, her dedication to style has always made Eva a front runner in our book and her couture looks last week, as she bounced through the talk show circuit, were first class.

On Good Morning America, Longoria donned a white long sleeve Azzedine Alaia which complimented her petite frame perfectly.

For CBS' The Early Show, Longoria again chose a fitted pink short sleeve number from Victoria Beckham's Spring 2011 line.

And perhaps Eva's most talked about look of the week was the Boca Negra menswear inspired tuxedo jacket and shorts she wore to Late Night with David Letterman.

What did you think of Eva's week of fashion? More hits than misses? Sound off in the comments or @MTV3.

I knew lots of things about David Arquette before interviewing him for his brand new movie Scream 4…  I’d seen the previous films in the Scream franchise, I’d watched Cougartown (which he produced)  and I’d marveled at how one of the funniest, coolest actors around could also muster the time and energy to become a Word Heavy Weight Champion.

But when the doors of suite 439 at the Lowes Hotel in South Beach opened, I met a David Arquette I did not expect!

Soft spoken, humble, and cracking up at the slightest joke, David Arquette struck me as a twenty-something trapped in a 40 year-old guy’s body…. I guess you ought to have that zest for life, that sparkling curiosity and that genuine interest about those around you,  to be really honestly truly funny and creative!

Only a guy as creative as he can really be good at acting, producing, directing,  wrestling and now even launching his own clothing line… No couch potato can achieve all that!

When discussing Scream 4, which comes out a whopping 11 years after the last installment of the franchise, David says it’s the most exciting thing:

"This is the reason why doing this film at this time was such a thrill… It’s exciting to know a new audience it’s going to be watching."

Although we interviewers were specifically asked not to bother David with any Courtney Cox related questions, I did ask David about first dates in general.

"I can tell you Scream 4 is the perfect movie for a first date"… And I couldn’t agree with him more.

A few days before my interview I began to follow David on Twitter to check out was he was up to on the days preceding our interview. So, after telling him I’d been snooping on the pictures he’d posted while in Orlando this past week, I jumped to the obvious question: How has twitter changed the dynamics of celebrity and what do you think about having the opportunity to have direct contact with your fans?

"I don’t like the attitudes of some people, staying at the margins and not establishing real contact with their fans… I think its awesome that everyone has an audience now".

“Well, now I’m following you on Twitter”, I told David. To which he said “Well, that only means one thing: I must start following you right now” At the time of publication David Arquette still doesn’t follow me on Twitter and at the end of my interview no amount of cracking up jokes got David Arquette to reveal who dies first in this long awaited last installment of 'Scream 4'.

You've heard the album, seen the videos, and now Kanye West is set to further his foray into the fashion world when the bravado laced emcee designs a series of limited-edition silky scarves, loosely inspired by his 2010 album My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy.

West will work with Paris duo Mathias Augustyniak and Michael Amzalag –the designers behind My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy– in five Twisted designs based upon the artwork he commissioned for the album last year. Unfortunately for Ye fans, only 250 will be made, 50 of each design, and will be available for purchase at the Colette boutique in Paris or by ordering at MMParis.com.

Kanye the designer, isn't a surprising notion. Yeezy has teamed up with likes of Louis Vuitton and Nike to design signature footwear in the past, but hip hop and scarves doesn't seem quite as synonymous as say hip hop and sneakers, liquor, colognes, restaurants, or urban wear for that matter.

Of course, there are other musician/product pairings that have sparked our interest. Rihanna's collaboration with Isotoner on the Rihanna Signature Slender ‘brella umbrellas (ella ella) after the Caribbean beauty's smash hit, seemed appropriate. News of Jay-Z investing in the Brooklyn-based chicken wing restaurant Buffalo Boss with his mother and sister, was amusing, yet believable. And Dr.Dre's latest entrepreneurial venture with his high-performance headphone line, Beats By Dre, is only fitting of one of rap's most sought-after producers.

But, Kanye West and scarves? Still questionable. Looks like Chicago's most well-known rapper has done what he seems to do best, surprise us.

Just hours after Britney Spears announced her upcoming summer tour with Enrique Iglesias on Tuesday's "Good Morning America," the Latino heartthrob backed out of the double-billed performance with the pop princess.

According to Billboard, money may be to blame. Although Iglesias has been a headliner for some time, announcing the tour on the day Brit dropped her latest LP, Femme Fatale, leads many to assume that Ms. Spears is the headliner and Iglesias the opening act. Additionally, Spears was rumored to pull in several times what Iglesias would earn on the "joint" tour.

Iglesias' rep released the following statement confirming the tour's demise:

"Unfortunately, Enrique Iglesias and Britney Spears will not be touring together. Despite initial reports based on formal discussions of the possible run, Enrique will continue on his solo tour in support of his new album 'Euphoria.' Enrique has great respect for Britney and is a longtime fan of her work. He is very sorry for the confusion this might have caused to anyone."

While Brit reworks the line-up of her summer trek, Enrique will continue on his European tour which kicked off earlier this month and wraps up June 11 in Scotland.

Do you think Enrique was right to back out of his tour with Britney? Sound off in the comments, or @MTV3.

Boardwalk Empire's Paz de la Huerta was arrested in New York City Tuesday night for throwing a glass at a former reality TV star and punching her in the face at The Standard Hotel, according to TMZ.

Apparently, Samatha Swetra, of MTV's reality show The City, made some snarky comments about our homegirl’s state of sobriety and overall conduct after she fell into a table. Paz then snapped, chucked a glass at Samantha and punched her in the face. With broken glass and pissed-off partiers scattered all over the place, de la Huerta was escorted out of the cocktail lounge by security. Swetra filed a police report the next morning. Although no charges have yet been filed, Paz is due to appear in court on April 18.

The kicker? Apparently, Swetra was hanging out with pal Lindsay Lohan, who looked "shocked," according to witnesses.

"Blood was dripping down [Swetra's] leg," a source told the New York Daily News. "Lindsay was pulling shards of glass off of it."

This isn’t the first — or even the second — time she’s been called out for bad behavior. Paz, who plays former vaudeville dancer and troublemaker Lucy Danziger on the HBO series Boardwalk Empire, has been developing a party girl reputation for quite some time. Appearing very intoxicated, the starlet (and daughter of a Spanish duke) flashed the crowd outside an industry party after this year's Golden Globes. In September 2007, she was written up in Page Six for performing a drunken striptease at the super-swanky Beatrice Inn to the Divinyls’ “I Touch Myself,” which the gossip column called a “real gruesome spectacle."

Look Paz, if Lindsay Lohan is shocked by your behavior, you may want to consider laying off the sauce.

What do you think of Paz's outrageous behavior? Sound off in the comments or @MTV3.

Every spring, schools across the United States offer students opportunities that can drastically influence their life paths — notably AP (advanced placement) Spanish courses. When I took my first one, I thought, “Why aren’t all my classes like this?” Besides preparing me for the rigors of college, this college-level high school course gave me the confidence to take on other AP subjects and consider fields I previously thought were out of reach.

Employers are increasingly recruiting and developing workers who are multilingual, according to Andrés Tapia, chief diversity officer at an international human relations consulting firm. “That’s one of the reasons rigorous courses, such as AP courses, in the languages and literature are critical,” he said. “If people are going to navigate and bridge the culture, they need to have more than just vocabulary.”

I checked in with my former high school classmates, María Catalina Catalán and Marcelo Venegas Pizarro, to see what kind of an impact our AP Spanish courses made on their lives. Here's what they had to say:

What led up to you taking AP Spanish?

María: When I was 7 my family emigrated from Mexico, which ended my use of Spanish in school until I took AP Spanish. I was then able to explore the grammar, mechanics and beautiful literature of my culture. Many of us knew tenses and conjugation, but had not put those labels on it.

Marcelo: Although I was a fluent Spanish speaker when I arrived from Chile at age 9, with AP Spanish I discovered so much more about what my culture had to offer than even my parents had shown me.

Did taking that AP Spanish class influence your career path?

María: I think it definitely influenced my thinking. I wanted to know how to better teach children. I earned a bachelor’s degree with a double major in early childhood education and Spanish. I went on to earn a master’s degree that focused on dual-language education at the University of Illinois at Chicago. Today I teach at a predominantly Latino grammar school. I hope I am now giving children the kind of instruction I would have liked as a second- and third-grader and the kind of education I want my child to have.

Marcelo: I went to college and then on to the University of Illinois Medical School. Today I work as medical director of Lutheran Medical Center’s HIV outpatient program in Brooklyn, N.Y. The patients we have are 90 percent Spanish-speaking. There’s no way I could have known as a high school student how much my language and appreciation of culture would factor in my career.

Research shows that speaking additional languages helps students learn all subjects better. Plus, AP courses stand out on college applications and may help you to qualify for college credit and scholarships.

The AP Program offers 34 college-level classes. Find out which ones are offered in your school at www.collegeboard.org/apescuelas.

TV star Adam Rodriguez is what folks in the entertainment business like to call a triple threat. Not only is he an accomplished actor, he’s also proven himself to be a capable writer and director. Last weekend he put all three skills to the test with the CSI: Miami episode "Hunting Ground."

Having played Detective Eric Delko on Miami for more than eight seasons, it’s clear that Rodriguez has a solid grasp of the series. For "Hunting Ground," Adam approached producers with a unique idea for the characters of CBS’ hit detective show.

"My story came from a book that I read as a kid, a short story called The Most Dangerous Game," Rodriguez told TV Guide. "It's about a man who lives on a remote island where ships wreck, and he invites these people into his house. They think they're going to live in the lap of luxury while they're shipwrecked, and it turns out he lets them loose on the island and hunts them down. I always thought that premise was something cool and would make a good idea."

Rather than transporting the cast of the Miami-based show to a deserted island, Adam changed the story into a life-or-death battle in the Florida Everglades.

"We made the episode about a [man] who's bringing in people from Cuba and Haiti,"Rodriguez said. "And he's selling them to a guy who beefs them up with steroids, makes them more dangerous prey, and sets them loose in the Everglades. People will pay him to hunt them. It's totally sick."

Anyone regular CSI viewer knows that "totally sick" is right up the show's alley, and we can't wait to see what kind of gun-toting action Adam brings to the table.

Better late than never. Sure, it took French fashion house Hermés 174 years to incorporate Mexican influences into their silk scarves and pocket squares, but they’ve finally done it, and the new designs are getting rave reviews.

Launched in 1837, Hermés is one of Europe’s most fashionable brands. Its world-renowned collections of jewelry, shoes, ties, scarves and fragrances are frequently worn by the rich and famous. But now, the company has turned to the tiny Mexican city of San Pablo el Grande for inspiration. Partnering with local Otomi Indian artisans famous for their “tenango" embroideryHermés has built a line of colorful designs reflecting the culture and spirit of Mexico.

It’s clear that Hermés will make plenty of profits off of the work being done in the poverty-stricken town. So how do San Pablo’s Otomi Indian artisans want to be compensated for their work? According to rep Iveth Lagos, they would prefer Hermés give back to their community.

“[The artisans' dream is to] bring about improvement to the school in San Pablo el Grande and create better conditions in the community," Lagos said. "[They are] thinking about the income they will receive for life from the rights to sell these scarves, with which they want to build a place in the medium term that will promote the drawing and design of crafts from the town and convert it into a business center in the long term."

With Hermés selling the designs at more $300 a pop, we imagine that San Pablo’s artisans are due for a pretty fancy “business center” in the months to come.
