Ever wonder what Eduardo Saverin is up to these days? The Brazilian co-founder of Facebook was a prominent character in The Social Network movie, but then kind of dropped out of sight. Until now that is. It seems Eduardo has made headlines once again, this time for renouncing his American citizenship.
It's no coincidence that Saverin is bailing on America right before Facebook becomes publicly traded. The Harvard wiz kid stands to earn a massive amount of cash from the deal, which would lead to some VERY steep taxes from Uncle Sam.
According to the BBC, Eduardo can save as much as $600 million by reneging his American citizenship before the deal closes. It seems his plan is to move to Singapore, where the dues are not quite as steep.
The latest reports say Saverin plans to remain in Singapore for "an indefinite period of time." Perhaps just long enough to count the supposed $4 billion he's now said to be worth.

Rachel Uchitel, mostly known for being Tiger Woods' mistress and appearing on Celebrity Rehab With Dr. Drew, just had a baby girl. The celebrity mistress and her husband, Matt Hahn, welcomed their 7 pound baby daughter, Wyatt Lilly.
Rachel married Hahn last October, in Las Vegas, at the Little White Wedding Chapel. She was a party-planner-turned-homewrecker, and became infamous for being Tiger Woods' mistress a few years ago, ruining his marriage and setting a domino effect that caused several other hussies to crawl out of the woodwork.
The mistress was also tied to Bones actor David Boreanaz, with whom she allegedly had an affair as well. Uchitel eventually ended up on Dr. Drew's Celebrity Rehab show for being addicted to love.
I don't think that song was meant to be taken seriously, but ok. Luckily, Rachel seems to have settled down with her husband and will hopefully make a good life for this baby. Those hustling days are over, girl!
Do you like the name Wyatt Lilly for a baby girl?

Mexico was truly at a loss for words yesterday with news of the passing of Carlos Fuentes. In a career that spanned 55 years, the legendary writer generated countless essays, novels and political commentaries relating to his home country.
Often recognized as one of the Mexico's most prolific authors, Carlos influenced generations of readers with works like "Aura" and "The Death of Artemio Cruz." His novel "The Old Gringo" was adapted into a feature film with Jane Fonda and Jimmy Smits.
"I deeply regret the passing of our beloved and admired Carlos Fuentes, writer and universal Mexican," President Felipe Calderon wrote after hearing the news. "May he rest in peace".
According to reports, the 83-year-old icon died of a massive hemorrhage. Clearly the news was unexpected, as Fuentes participated in a Buenos Aires book fair earlier this month. Our thoughts and prayers go out to his family.
Rest In Peace Carlos.

President Barack Obama may have gone under public scrutiny this week for defending his view that gay couples should have the right to marry, saying that the country has never gone wrong when it “expanded rights and responsibilities to everyone,” but rapper Jay-Z continues to back the politician.
Jay-Z has publicly supported the president since the 2008 campaign and will continue to do so through the 2012 elections. Mr. Z recently applauded Obama on his stance on gay marriage, telling CNN:
“I’ve always thought it as something that was still holding the country back. What people do in their own homes is their business, and you can choose to love whoever you love. That's their business. It's no different than discriminating against blacks. It's discrimination, plain and simple."
Celebrities like Ellen DeGeneris, Neil Patrick Harris, Ricky Martin and even Snookie have come out and supported President Obama’s stance as well, but others aren’t as enthusiastic. Boxer Manny Pacquiao went as far as calling gay marriage “detestable” and fell back on the bible to support his views:
“Adam and Eve, not Adam and Steve.”
This movement has been compared with the likes of voting rights, women’s rights, worker’s rights and equality rights. In hindsight, most Americans look back at these times and wonder “what were they thinking?!”

Clearly Dark Shadows couldn’t bring down The Avengers at the box office, but maybe Jennifer Lopez can. Her new pregnancy movie, What To Expect When You’re Expecting, arrives this Friday and the filmmakers behind it believe it’ll make the mommy crowd very happy.
"It was a real thrill putting this all-star cast together," director Kirk Jones told us at a recent junket. "It all came together quite nicely and all of the couples in the film seem to be perfectly balanced."
Indeed, Expecting’s credits read like a who's who of Hollywood stars. Outside of JLo, the movie's got Cameron Diaz, Elizabeth Banks, Rodrigo Santoro and tons more. It's also got a ton of great comedy moments, courtesy of co-star Chris Rock.
"I was very fortunate to have a lot of stars with improvisational backgrounds," Jones added. "People like Chris Rock that is. It was a real thrill for me to sit back and watch him do his stuff."
But Expecting is bringing a lot more than comedy to the screen. The film is actually based on a very popular pregnancy manual of the same name, which author Heidi Murkoff seemed thrilled about adapting for the big screen.
"I wrote What To Expect during my first pregnancy and I certainly never expected it to come this far," she told us. "It's been an adventure and it's been a lot of fun! I'm not quitting my day job though, you can still expect plenty of more books!"
Kirk is also a proud parent, but interestingly was unaware of the book when he signed on to the film.
"I think I was the only person in the world who wasn’t aware of the book, even though I have three children," he said. "I think it has something to do with the fact that I'm from the UK, though it's very popular there too."
We're sure the book will become even more popular once the movie is released. You can see Kirk and Heidi's handiwork (and plenty of Ms. Lopez) when What To Expect When You’re Expecting hits theaters this Friday.

Chuey Martinez is an energetic radio personality born from Mexican and Dominican families who is ready to embark on a journey into his passion with food. Chuey just landed a hosting gig on the Travel Channel's newest culinary adventure, All You Can Meat.
The reality that he will be on the Travel Channel hosting a food show still hasn't hit Chuey. He said,
"I'm blessed, I'm doing good, I'm pumped. I'm ready for this and I'm excited. There are so many emotions going through me right now. It really hasn't hit me yet, to be honest with you, but I really am excited."
All You Can Meat will explore rib shacks, BBQ pits, and even local denizen's back yards to bring you the best of the best when it comes to meat. When I asked him what the show was about, Chuey explained,
"Sending Chuey Martinez all over the United States and eating the best BBQ and the best food, and meeting some of the most amazing people and interacting with the most amazing people around this country, some of the best meats. I want to see this fascination we have with meat and explore that."
I asked Chuey what his favorite cuisine was, and he answered,
"My tia makes a mean congris. When she makes her congris and my uncle makes masitas de puerco, it's pretty much a wrap. And my uncle sometimes makes croquetas, and it's pretty great. I'm Mexican and Dominican, but I was also raised by Cubans, so I eat all that good stuff, the lechón."
Chuey is not a trained chef or any sort of food blogger, he knows his food from experience. He said,
"I like to eat, girl. I like to eat and I like BBQ. That's my favorite. So I think this show came down from the heavens, and I'm so excited to have this show. I'm going every where, like Kansas City, Missouri; Charlotte, North Carolina; New Orleans. I was just in New Orleans last week and that was the most humbling and amazing experience, spending time with a family that survived Hurricane Katrina."
The family had invited Martinez and his camera crew to join them for dinner to eat their fried chicken and jambalaya. Chuey recalled,
"Having that meal with that family was probably one of the most beautiful things I've encountered in my life."
I wanted to know if the meat-loving host could recommend any favorites. Turns out, the best beef rib Chuey has had in his entire life was from Austin, Texas. The best pork rib was in Kansas City, Missouri, and the best pulled pork was in Charlotte, North Carolina. He raved,
"I've never had a crawfish experience until I experienced crawfish in New Orleans. It was amazing.I also had some good brisket in Charlotte, North Carolina."
Martinez would love to go to a luau in Hawaii and see how the pig is made, from the time they dig the hole and cover it with the plantain leaves to the time they dig it up, ready to eat. Chuey described,
"They put the pig down there, with the fire and the rocks and the banana leaves. I really wanna see that being prepared in front of my eyes, I've never seen that and I would love to experience that."
So Travel Channel people, if you're reading this, just putting it out there- hook the guy up. Chuey's show, All You Can Meat, will premiere on the Travel Channel this summer, starting August 15 at 10 pm. Watch all the delicious ways to prepare meat and drool!

It looks like there may be some Latino blood mixing in to the Marley clan. Bob's 39-year-old son Rohan Marley has just announced his engagement to Brazilian supermodel Isabeli Fontana.
Interestingly, this isn't the first time that Rohan has hooked up with an international superstar. He has five children with R&B songstress Lauryn Hill (and became the subject of many of her songs).
But with Isabeli, Marley seems to have found "true love"…or so he says. The two are scheduled to wed later this year in Ethiopia, which Rohan chose because of its significance to the Rastafarian movement.
"Rohan told me we have to return to the roots so the marriage will last forever," Fontana said in a recent interview.
For the sake of all those children in the mix, we certainly hope that's the case.

After months of hype, Howard Stern hit the NBC airwaves last night with the premiere of America's Got Talent. And though reaction to his performance has been somewhat mixed, the SIRIUS shock jock got our nod of approval, particularly for signing off on a talented daddy/daughter duo.
Howard and his fellow judges gave the thumbs up to singers Jorge and Alexa Navarez, who blew the crowd away with their rendition of Edward Sharpe's "Home." The two have already become YouTube sensations and seemed to strike a chord with Stern.
"Wow, Jorge. I wish you were my dad," he told Navarez. "You have a beautiful chemistry."
Just seven-years-old, Alexa proved to be the big scene stealer of the night, even upstaging Howard with her cuteness. And now that she and her papa got the go-ahead for AGT's Las Vegas show, let's hope we can enjoy a lot more of her touching songs.

Scarlett Johansson has always been a hottie, but she had to get in amazing shape for her Black Widow role in The Avengers. The actress has to kick some serious butt while strapped into a shiny black skintight catsuit, all while looking fabulous in the process. Not an easy task to do, but Scarlett manages to pull it off flawlessly.
Since the role was so physically demanding, Scarlett trained with Bobby Strom for two months and had a stunt double, Heidi Moneymaker. Strom made her do 90 minute circuit workouts several times a week, similar to those he had her do while training for Iron Man 2. Scarlett trained with dumbbells, resistance bands, medicine balls, and also by running intervals, which kept her svelte and agile for the role.
Johansson also trained in Mixed Martial Arts and used hand-to-hand combat weapons to practice for the part. The actress' stunt double, Moneymaker, said they had about six weeks to prepare for the fight scenes in the film. Using various elements in training helped Scarlett perform excellently in her role.
Diet was also a big part of getting Scarlett in tip top shape for her action role. The actress focused on eating several small meals a day, instead of three square meals. Scarlett adopted a mostly vegan diet, and ate mostly oatmeal, fresh fruits and vegetables, salads, and lean proteins.
What are your favorite ways to get in shape?

Rihanna plays an amazingly strong female sailor in her debut film Battleship, starring alongside Alexander Skarsgard, Taylor Kitsch, and Liam Neeson. Her character, Raikes, was inspired by a real life Navy officer, Jacqueline Carrizosa, now a technical advisor on the Battleship set.
I talked to Jacqueline Carrizosa, and she had many insightful things to say about being a technical advisor on the set of Battleship. Although this is her first advisor role, she is rocking the house. She really got Rihanna into character and made her really want to nail that role.
Jacqueline is quite the badass too, in real life. For Battleship, she has to make sure everything looks professional and realistic. She also has to be on set the whole time, in case something needs to be changed. She also has to work with the actors to "give them the mentality of a good sailor."
Her favorite things to teach actors to do are "teaching actors to handle guns, and other things that feed into their wild side." Jacqueline excitedly explained, "I like to pump them up."
Jacqueline loved working with Rihanna, since she was tough, a fast learner, and they had a lot on common. Rihanna was right around her age, so the two hit it off really well. RiRi was open to everything Jacqueline had to say, and so was the rest of the cast. Carrizosa said it was cool working with someone from the same generation.
Carrizosa's previous military experience certainly enhanced her job as technical advisor on the set. In the Navy, she made rank really fast and eventually became a weapons expert. The fact that Jacqueline could do amazing stunts is also an enhancement to any action movie.
In the Navy, she was the only girl playing soccer on the team. One day she met Peter Berg when she was playing tournaments all day. He asked her what kind of person she was in high school, and she said she skated, listened to rock and hardcore music, and was always very active. She told him about training and fitness, the hardcore and punk music she listened to, and the two hit it off just great.
Rihanna was really impressed with Jacqueline's methodology and amazing attitude about life. When I asked what she thought when the singer called her "fearless, one of the guys, and a badass," Jacqueline said,
"Cool she called me a badass. I pretty much do whatever I want. I like living on the edge, I'm an adrenaline junkie. I go sky diving, and scuba diving, anything I think is awesome."
Carrizosa is eager to continue in show business. When I asked her what type of projects she would like to do next, she replied,
"If I could do stunt work, that would be awesome. But I would take advisor roles too. Now I'm just working and doing school, but yeah, if it comes up, I'll do it."
Do you think Jacqueline Carrizosa did a fantastic job in preparing Rihanna for the Raikes role?
