'Paranormal Activity 3' Promises Plenty Of New Scares On DVD

It looks like Halloween is coming early this year, with the announcement of a fully-enhanced DVD version of Paranormal Activity 3. The runaway horror hit arrives in stores later this month and is stuffed with tons of cool extras.

We always love rooting for underdog flicks like Paranormal. Made for a modest budget (and without any big name stars), it became an international smash at the box office, ultimately earning over $200 million.

For the DVD release, the filmmakers are adding a new Unrated version of the movie complete with crisp Blu-Ray visuals. There will also be a "Lost Tapes" section that includes more of a backs tory for those pesky poltergeist.

And we can only imagine how much scarier watching this haunted house flick will be from your own living room! Pick it up (if you dare) at major retailers on January 24.
