The very name says so; a mission that for its own nature is or should be impossible to accomplish. In past Missions Impossible we watch agent Ethan Hunt of the IMF break into the CIA database, fool an international terrorist and flush out a traitor inside American Intelligence while saving his fiancée. And he accomplishes all that while being hunt down as a traitor by his own people in two of the movies.

Not surprisingly, director Brad Bird preferred the "America thinks we are traitors" plotline as the most daring and propped up with some of the greatest stunts in action movies ever played in living memory. Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol, delivers the goods the old fashion way with the leading role hanging from the roof of a skyscraper with one hand.

This is Brad Bird's first real action movie, but is no surprise that this guy feels so confortable directing the fast paced blockbuster; Bird is the director of Pixar's The Incredibles and Ratatouille, not to mention that a guy who has directed episodes for The Simpsons is for sure someone with a good grasp for mayhem and chaos.

This latest installment of Mission begins when IMF agent Trevor Hanaway is trying to intercept a courier for a mysterious asset codenamed "Cobalt". But things go awry for Hanaway, who is killed by a professional assassin named Moreau.

Hanaway’s team leader Jane Carter decides that Ethan Hunt is the only way to flush Cobalt out, but there is a little problem: Hunt is in a Moscow prison. So Carter joins forces with newly promoted agent Benji Dunn to break Hunt out of prison only to send him into the Kremlin to find the Secret Archives and identify Cobalt.

In the middle of the mission, someone broadcasts through IMF frequency alerting the Russians of Hunt's presence and while they run away a bomb is detonated, destroying most of the building, and in the aftermath Hunt's team is blamed for the terrorist act. In order to unmask the real culprits, Ethan Hunt gathers his team and goes in a Mission Impossible for everybody but them.

Ghost Protocol is a triumphant return of Tom Cruise to the big screen; the stunts are more daring, the pace is faster and the cast of supporting actors is great. Jeremy Renner, again in his favorite tough guy character is the perfect second as former agent turned Chief Analyst William Brant, while Simon Pegg is his exact opposite as technician turned agent Benji Dunn. Paula Patton provides the indispensable hotness as agent Carter and is good to see her back in the big screen since her big break in Déjà Vu a couple years ago.

Ghost Protocol is thrilling, fast and I really don't think there is a more spectacular sequence in any other movie this year than the hacking of the Burj Khalifa’s computer servers. Not every day you can watch Tom Cruise crawling like Spiderman through the roof of the world's tallest building.

We know, a list calling itself "The Hottest Women Of All Time" is definitely considered subjective. But Men’s Health magazine seemed to be on the right track with their new highly-touted countdown. 100 ladies were featured in their "Hottest" breakdown, including quite a few sexy Latinas.

The first Tr3s fave to appear on the list comes in at #60. A Puerto Rican beauty who's just as famous for her behind as she is for her face, do you have any guesses as to who this might be? Yup, JLo made the cut and was particularly praised for her sexy looking outfits in the film, Out of Sight.

Closely following Jenny From the Block is the always lovely Jessica Alba. She ranked 54th, which seems like an injustice to us. With her flawless skin and firm body, Alba definitely deserves to be in the Top 10. We demand a recount!

Penelope Cruz also got some Men’s Health love, ranking #32 on the list. And just to further prove her "Hotness," the magazine posted an extra sexy pic of her for their online gallery. Following Pe came two blonde-haired Latinas, namely Gisele Bunchen (at #25) and Cameron Diaz (at #24).

Salma Hayek clearly wowed the Men’s readers, as she was ranked higher than both Kim Kardashian and Beyonce! Coming in at #22, she's the top mexicana on the list. And their editors made a very good point about Salma, emphasizing that she still looked "Hot" even in her frumpy Frida makeup.

Shakira comes up next at #18, proving that Gerard Piqué is a very lucky man. But the highest ranking Latina of them all? That would the #2 woman on the entire list. A bombshell from the swinging 60’s era, Men’s Health chose Raquel Welch as their ultimate Hispanic goddess. Not a bad call if you ask us. This half Bolivian beauty is still stunning at the ripe old age of 71!

And, for the record, Men’s Health’s "Hottest Woman of All Time" is…(drum roll please) Jennifer Aniston.

It looks like it's going to be a busy 2012 for Romeo Santos. Riding high off the success of his first solo album, Formula Vol. 1, the bachata maestro has announced a slew of tour dates in massive venues across the U.S.

Starting in February, Romeo will be crisscrossing the country with a series of stadium shows. Amazingly, he's already sold out New York's Madison Square Garden on Feb 11. He'll be playing a second Garden concert on Feb 23, followed by stops in Miami, Boston, Chicago, L.A., and Vegas (just to name a few!).

And just to prove that he's in the spirit of giving, Santos is even offering a contest for tickets to his live shows. His "12 Days of Christmas" sweepstakes will give 12 fans the chance to see him perform and one lucky winner will even get a personalized limo ride to the show.

We have a feeling watching Formula come to life will definitely be worth the price of admission. Be sure to check out Romeo’s official web site for more details on venues, dates, and ticket prices.

Who knew Paulina Rubio fancied Cajun grooves? Oh yea, she'll be making her way to Louisiana next April for the 2012 New Orleans Jazz Fest. A lively mix of musical genres and live entertainment, we are actually glad they're adding some Latin flair to the lineup.

Other headliners at next year's event include The Eagles, Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers, and The Foo Fighters. The concert will last for two days and promises a mix of classic rock, jazz, zydeco, R&B, gospel, blues, and of course Latin pop.

There will actually be over 100 musicians performing throughout the event, all on a variety of stages. Fans attending will have the opportunity to visit various "themed" tents, nibble on authentic N'awlins food, and pick up fun creole trinkets.

Of course, Pau Pau won't be the only Latin music maker making noise at Jazz Fest. Legendary Hispanic artists like the Texas Tornadoes, Pedrito Martinez, and Poncho Sanchez are also planning to perform.

Modern life can be very complicated even if you are a very careful man. The Pill is exactly that, a brutal remainder that no matter how brilliant, sleazy a guy is, how able he is to dodge problems, it only takes one crazy girl to rock your world. That is what happens to Fred, the character played by Noah Bean, whom we had seen before showing his acting chops in the star-studded TV drama Damages.

Fred, a cool, nonchalant New Yorker meets Mindy, a slightly nutty girl, in a bar and hooks up with her. They decide to spend the night together but Fred lets Mindy convince him to have unprotected sex (you'll be surprised how easy that is to achieve).

Everything seems to be OK until Fred learns that Mindy did not use contraceptives of any kind and not only that, she tells him that she is a practicing Catholic so she does not believe in them. So no matter the reassurances she gives him (“I know my body” says Mindy) he could be on his way to become a Dad.

Of course, that is a turn of events Fred is not happy about, so he manages to convince Mindy to take the first of two doses of the "morning after" pill, but the treatment requires a second pill to be taken 12 hours after the first one. Ben has no other choice than to follow Mindy everywhere during half the day, to make sure she takes the second pill.

The adventures that follow include a surreal birthday party with Mindy's wacky family, some major confusions during the exchange of text messages and an absurd visit to her former roommate, who turns out to be the former boyfriend -all  that while trying to avoid Fred's living in girlfriend from finding out.

The Pill is a movie of strong modern women and Mindy, brilliantly played by Rachael Boston, reminds me a little of Zooey Deschanel's character in 500 Days of Summer, in the sense that she calls the shots, since the moment they meet until the very end of the movie.

The other female character, Nelly (Fred’s girlfriend), is also in charge of the decision-making when they are together. Anna Chlumsky, who plays Nelly, is the kind of tall blonde beauty that perfectly fits the roll.

Chlumsky played the main character in My Girl and My Girl 2 with Macaulay Culkin, when she was a little girl, and is a pleasure to watch her back on the big screen.

There is one more good thing in The Pill, and that is the excellent Jean Brassard as Renault, Mindy's French father, in an inspired comic performance.

A little rougher than your average romantic comedy, The Pill is the kind of story in which all the characters are lying to each other since the very beginning and it doesn't ends until the long chain of lies unravels completely.

Ho ho ho holidays are here! It's official, I just heard El Burrito Sabanero on the radio so it's time to get ready and bring out that holiday swag. This year it's all about shine and elegance so whether you're going to impress the parents or get loose at the club, I got you covered.

Looking like a million bucks in this economy is easier than you think with so many beautiful holiday dresses for under $50 bucks!

One of the biggest recurring trends of the season is sequin and shine. You can spice up the trend by choosing darker colors like Paris Hilton did during Art Basel in Miami Beach. Mixing fabric textures also works for this trend, check out this crimson red sequin and mesh dress- perfect for New Year's.

You can also rock the traditional gold by combining it with neutral colors or dark colors like black, this is one of my favorite looks. If you want to go the golden route then check out this dress from AKIRA its only $44.90.

Think your little black dress can't work for these occasions? Think again. The little black dress is not only an essential for the rest of the year but with a few add-ons it can become the perfect holiday dress. One of the biggest LBD trends to walk runways and red carpets was cut-out patterns.

Olivia Wilde donned this beautiful dress with a center cut-out proving that you can show skin without being tacky. You can re-create this look with this black dress from ModCloth for only $49.99.

Cut-outs aren't the only way to show some skin, adding lace and see through fabrics to a black dress are great ways to liven things up. One of my favorite trends is to pair embellished skirts with see through tops like this one. If you're headed to an office party, simple lace dresses like this one from Nordstroms ($42) are perfect.

Refinery 29 provides complete outfit ideas from bags to shoes and this outfit combination is perfect for a sophisticated night out. For those of you who like DIY fashions, check out this dress that was transformed with nothing but some lace, a collar and ribbon inspired by Alexa Chung.

If you want to stand out from the crowd then add some color to your outfit. A pop of color is easily the best way to get noticed, you just have to choose the color that best suits the occasion. Zoe Saldana wows in this fitted yellow dress from Michael Kors but you can recreate the look for much less with a fitted dress or a full skirt like this beautiful orange-red dress from H&M.

Of course you can't forget to accessorize your holiday outfit! Your accessories should be able to stand out and add that wow factor to your outfit (be careful to not over accessorize).

Refinery 29 also has a whole assortment of ideas for all of the upcoming holiday madness. So whether you celebrate Christmas, Hannukah or Kwanzaa there is no excuse to not look hot this holiday season. I know I'm ready to dance the night away to some merengue and ring in the new year right.

What are you planning to wear?

Clearly, the music buying public is eager for a new Bruno Mars album. His debut, Doo Wops & Hooligans, has already sold millions of copies and been honored with countless awards. Though record #2 is still shrouded in secrecy, the 26-year-old crooner did reveal some promo shots that he's planning to use for it.

BET.com debuted two black-and-white stills featuring Bruno in his trademark retro style. One shot has him dressed in a scuffled "Rat Pack-esque" suit, while the other has him posing in a checkered shirt and bomber jacket.

Speaking about his sophomore album with Ryan Seacrest, Mars did drop a few hints about what fans can expect.

"I want to have fun on this next album," he said. "I think that's the most important key, especially now that I’ve been on the road and am playing a lot of shows. I have a little more of a vision than I think I did with Doo-Wops & Hooligans."

We're sure a lot of Hooligans out there are very curious about what Bruno's next "vision" may be. Hopefully we can get a taste of some new material when he takes the Grammy stage next year.

It's official, Marc Gasol will be throwing on the Grizzlies jersey for another four years. The Spanish NBA star just signed a whopping $58 million contract to remain with the team.

"I didn't see myself other than with this team, whether it was going to be for the long term or one year," Marc happily said after the deal was done. "I definitely thought I would be here this year."

The clock was definitely ticking on Gasol's career in Memphis. After this season, he would have been a free agent and might have easily gotten wooed to another franchise. But it's hard to say no to $58 million and a winning lineup that includes Zach Randolph, Rudy Gay, and Mike Conley.

Unfortunately things haven't been as smooth for Marc's brother Pau. The Laker forward was nearly traded to Houston last week in a deal that would've brought Chris Paul to L.A. The NBA ultimately shot it down, keeping the elder Gasol in purple and gold (at least for the time being).

Do you think Marc Gasol's worth $58 million? Sound off in the comments or @MTV3.

Forget the singers, the real story going down on La Voz Mexico is the rumored romance between Espinoza Paz and Lucero. Gossip blogs caught fire today with reports that the two judges may now be an item.

Interestingly, the two Mexican stars have a 13-year age gap between them. Nevertheless, Lucero makes a very sexy older woman and hasn't been shy about flaunting her "single" status since divorcing Manuel Mijares.

Espinoza is also unattached and seems to have struck up some on-air chemistry with his Voz co-star. But has it carried into their personal lives? As of right now, the answer is officially no.

Neither of their reps have confirmed a romance, but the picture TV Notas published definitely shows them getting cozy. We think they make a great couple and who knows? Perhaps they can re-ignite that "cougar craze" now that Demi and Ashton have split up.

Do you think Espinoza and Lucero are hooking up? Sound off in the comments or @MTV3.

Was X Factor judge Nicole Scherzinger held up at gunpoint by Mexican police? That depends on who you believe. The Federales are denying it, but Star Magazine claims to have evidence to the contrary.

According to the magazine, Nicole and her choreographer, Brian Friedman, had assault weapons pointed at their heads after a traffic stop in Mexico. The two had been in the country filming a music video for Scherzinger’s new single, "Try With Me."

"We were held at gunpoint," Friedman claimed. "People next to our cars…there were M16s and Berettas!"

Though Mexican authorities did confirm that Nicole was pulled over, they adamantly denied any gun toting. Either way, it didn't seem to phase the former Pussycat Doll when she appeared on the X Factor Thursday night. She was able to belt through her song, "Pretty," without incident.

Do you think Nicole was really held up by Mexican police? Sound off in the comments or @MTV3.
