It seems like Miley Cyrus is joining forces with other Occupy Wall Street celebrity supporters with her 'Liberty Walk' music video.
"Cyrus's latest single, sets the music to images and video from the various protests and activity around the various OWS encampments throughout the nation."
Miley's 'Liberty Walk' bombards the viewer with footage of marches and protests and police controlling crowds. Clips of protesters holding signs are backed by head pumping techno tunes and her auto-tuned pop sound.
She tried to get a good message across, but her delivery seems too intense. Maybe she was trying to get away from her pole dancing performances and salvia days. The dedication shown before the video reads,
"This is dedicated to the thousands of people who are standing up for what they believe in."
The video is a testament to sticking to your guns and being who you are in order to get results achieved. In my opinion, the message is nice, but the effect is kinda dizzying and crazy-making when you add the music. Miley shouldn't be raging against any machine at any clubs. I would take a more subtle route if I were her. At least her heart was in the right place.
Did you like Miley's artistic political statement?
