Demi Moore & Ashton Kutcher Call It Quits

We had a feeling this was on the horizon. After months of speculation (and infidelity accusations), celebrity power couple Demi Moore and Ashton Kutcher have called it quits.

Married for six years, Moore and Kutcher helped popularize the older woman, younger man "Cougar" craze back in the mid-2000's. And up until this year, they were thought to be one of Hollywood's most durable couples.

But in recent months, continuous breakup stories began to circulate in the press. There were the rumors about Ashton cheating in San Diego, strange tweets from Demi, and a lack of solidarity on the red carpet.

Moore issued her own statement to the media, which pretty much sums up her feelings on the matter.

"It is with great sadness and a heavy heart that I have decided to end my six-year marriage to Ashton. As a woman, a mother and a wife there are certain values and vows that I hold sacred, and it is in this spirit that I have chosen to move forward with my life.”

Kutcher addressed the divorce on his Twitter account, saying he will "cherish" the time they spent together. Expect plenty of more media coverage on this breakup for weeks to come.
