Justin Bieber Paternity Lawsuit Dismissed

It looks like Justin Bieber is officially free and clear from his baby daddy drama. The 17-year-old pop star was recently hit with a paternity suit, but now his accuser has dropped her case.

20-year-old Mariah Yeater created a media firestorm when she alleged that Bieber was the father of her young child. Her original claim stated that Justin impregnated her backstage during one of his 2010 concerts.

But "The Biebs" was quick to fight back, offering to take a DNA test to prove he wasn't the daddy. And beyond that, he hired his own lawyers and threatened to sue Yeater for slander.

And something tells us Justin has a pretty shrewd legal team. Shortly after he threatened to countersue, Mariah backed off and withdrew her case. We're happy things worked out for the best, although we much would've rather seen them settle it on on The Maury Povich Show.
