Talk about art mirroring life. Earlier in the year, comedian Rob Schneider married gorgeous Latina Patricia Azarcoya Arce. And on his upcoming CBS sitcom, Rob will play a guy married to (you guessed it) a gorgeous Latina. But in the TV world, Schneider will have some Tr3s faves helping him score laughs, namely Eugenio Derbez and Cheech Marin!

Eugenio is actually no stranger to Rob's comedy crew. He recently wrapped a role in Adam Sandler's movie Jack & Jill and will reportedly play Schneider's uncle-in-law on the show. Cheech will be the father of the bride, which could make things very interesting.

Still untitled, the sitcom will premiere by mid-season and is being produced by Rob and his brother John. And be sure to keep an eye out for sexy newcomer Claudia Bassols, she'll be playing Mrs. Schneider on the series.

So far CBS has green lit eight episodes, with more coming if the show proves to be a hit. Let's hope they give it that coveted time slot right after Ashton Kutcher's Two and a Half Men!

A few weeks back President Barack Obama pledged his support for Hispanic Heritage Month and now he’s carrying through on that promise. Appearing at a live online roundtable today, the Commander-in-Chief answered questions about immigration, the DREAM Act, and even the possibility of a Latino President.

"I am absolutely confident that within my lifetime we will have a Latino candidate for president who will be very competitive, and may win," Obama stated at the conference.

Though, by the sounds of it, the President didn’t believe that candidate would come from the Republican party (or at least not now). Obama went on to explain how the GOP lacked leadership on topics like immigration reform.

"Only a few years ago, you had some Republicans who recognized that we needed to fix our immigration system," Obama said, referring to his predecessor, George W. Bush. "Right now you do not have that kind of leadership coming from the Republican party."

But that of course begs the question, what would Obama and his fellow Democrats do to help with the issue? The Prez was quick to bring up the national DREAM Act again, which would give undocumented college students and military personal a path to citizenship. He said he has continually pushed Congress to pass the bill and that he is more than ready to sign it.

Obama also addressed issues like Puerto Rico’s statehood (which he believes will remain a commonwealth) and Cuban relations.

"We are open to a new relationship with Cuba," the President went on to say. "If the Cuban government starts taking the proper steps to open up its own country and provide the space and the respect for human rights that would allow the Cuban people to determine their own destiny."

All of Obama's remarks toward the audience did sound very encouraging. But will he follow through on his promises to help the Latino community? Perhaps the real answers will reveal themselves after the 2012 Presidential Election.

The good girl has gone bad once again. Rihanna stirred up controversy while filming a topless scene for her new video "We Found Love" video in Northern Ireland. The pop star was forced to cover up after a Christian farmer thought the video was too inappropriate for his land. The conservative farmer, Alan Graham, later commented to CNN:

"I didn't know who was coming. If the name 'Rihanna' had been mentioned, well, no disrespect, but it wouldn't have meant anything."

We are sure it means something to him now! Mrs. Graham also described the sinful acts she witnessed:

"What she was doing became more inappropriate. When she started to go topless, that's what Alan was particularly objecting to -- things were getting out of hand. There was a man as well, and the behavior was getting more inappropriate. ... It wasn't the sort of thing Alan wanted young people (those watching) to see on his land. We are Christians."

Dios mío! They obviously don't turn on the television often. Rihanna, who was born in Barbados but has Irish ancestry, apologized to the couple about flashing what God gave her.

Do you think Rihanna should have had more respect for the Irish Christians?

We've got to hand it to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. This year they've chosen some excellent nominees. Artists like Guns N' Roses, The Beastie Boys, and The Cure all made this year's list. And we're especially proud that the multicultural band War was included too because, let's be honest, what Hall of Fame is complete without "Low Rider?"

Other names on the 2012 roster include The Red Hot Chili Peppers, Heart, Chaka Khan, and Joan Jett. But before you get your hopes too high, keep in mind that they are all just eligible "nominees." Only six lucky artists will actually get inducted next year.

Being as politically correct as ever, Rock Hall President Joel Peresman praised everyone under consideration.

"The 2012 nominees embody the broad scope of what 'rock and roll' means," he said. "From vocal groups to hip-hop, from singer-songwriters to hard rocking artists, this group represents the spirit of what we celebrate at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame."

All will be revealed at the Hall of Fame induction ceremony on April 14 2012. And if we had our pick, we'd love to see some live "Intergalactic" blended with War’s "Spill The Wine." With Axl Rose on backup vocals, of course.

The "El Headliner" fans have spoken yet again and this time they've shown a massive outpouring of love for Colombian-American rocker Ria. Mixing a bold blend of pop, R&B, and dance grooves, her unique sound has captured the attention of some very influential people. But more importantly, she captured the attention of the OurStage listeners and took down the "El Headliner" crown for the month of August.

"Finding out about the win was very exciting!" She told us in an exclusive interview. "There's nothing like being reminded that people really like what I'm doing. They really like my music, my look, my vibe, and that's extremely assuring because I absolutely LOVE what I do!"

Ria happens to have some very high-profile fans too. Legendary rocker Melissa Etheridge was a big early supporter of her music, loudly proclaiming that she "rocked her world" after a performance in Boston.

And Ria has actually been rocking the mic for a very long time. As she told us, her first brush with music came while singing in church.

"I've always had an inherent desire to sing music," she said. "But the turning point that made it clear to me was when I became a cantor in church. From there on, I began my journey towards a life of music…private lessons, then talent shows, and beyond."

Interestingly, Ria showed so much talent that she was accepted into the prestigious Berklee College of Music. A true haven for the sonically gifted, Berklee alumni include stars like Juan Luis Guerra, Quincy Jones, Paula Cole, and (not coincidentally) Ms. Etheridge.

"Berklee will be in my heart forever," she went on to say. "It provided a rich, international, competitive training ground for my career. It was in Berklee that I discovered my own sound. And it was in Berklee that I got to sing for one of my favs…Melissa Etheridge."

Obviously the sound that Ria developed proved to be quite enchanting. After spending more time honing her songwriting abilities, she crafted a very catchy debut album. Tracks like "Alright," "Queens,"and "Simply Happy" have already put her on the map in markets across the world.

Now a touring phenom as well, Ria has opened for acts like John Mayer and is currently overseas performing for the Euro crowd. So what could be next on her musical agenda?

"Next is new music and new places," she said. "I am currently checking out some offers, meeting new musicians, and treading new waters. I'm excited to see what's in store."

And so are we!

Could Pamela Anderson be feeling a tad jealous that her time on Dancing With The Stars has come and gone? Proving she is still a footloose force to be reckoned with, Anderson danced her way through the Mexican reality show La Academia this past week.

Pammy grabbed quite a few headlines for the revealing outfit she strutted on stage in. Flaunting a tight baby blue mini dress with no bra, the former Baywatch star took full advantage of Academia's trademark sex appeal.

Anderson actually chose a slow song for her provocative number. Her performance drew huge cheers from the audience (particularly the men) and she even stuck around for a bilingual interview.

When asked how she was enjoying her stay in Mexico, she enthusiastically responded,

"I love it here, it’s beautiful!"

We think it’s great that Pammy's branching out and embracing her Latin fans. And who knows? If her American acting career begins to fade, she could always try her hand at an español novela.

The gossip blogs have got to be a little tired of reporting on Jesse James and Kat Von D. One week they're on, one week they're off, one week they're engaged, and so on. But this latest bombshell may be the final nail in the coffin, ending their relationship for good. According to Radar Online, James has been cheating on Kat for several months!

The site posted a very revealing letter from one of Jesse's alleged mistresses. In it, she goes on to label James a "serial cheater" and warns Von D. to stay far away.

"You can't stay faithful because you hate yourself, therefore you secretly hate everyone else in your life. That's why you treat women like sh*t. Why don't you finally be a man and tell everyone why Kat dumped you this time?" she wrote. "You're beyond an a**hole, you're a sick predator who doesn't respect women."

It may be hard to argue with that statement, especially when you look at Jesse's track record with Sandra Bullock. Despite the drama, Kat seems to be healing rather well. She was spotted smiling out at dinner with her dad this week, happily embracing the single life.

It's hard to argue about the talents of Noel Gallagher. As the primary songwriter and lead guitarist of Oasis, he's given the music world dozens of pop gems. But does he think Lady Gaga should be held in such high esteem? According to his latest interview, the answer is no.

"It's all about the meat suit and the controversy," Gallagher told Q Magazine. "Is it about the music? Really? [Lady Gaga's] got the publicity side sorted out, but where's the f***ing music?"

Noel's comments seemed to be directed at the Little Monster's ability to attract attention with her wild outfits and hairstyles. And even though several critics have praised Gaga's songwriting abilities on Born This Way, Gallagher isn't convinced.

He went on to call her "Madonna lite" and emphasized that in 20 years the world may forget about "Ms. Meat Suit." Not surprisingly, thousands of Gaga's Twitter followers have already risen to her defense, calling Noel "washed up" and "out of touch."

More than two years after the death of Michael Jackson, his doctor Conrad Murray has been brought to trial to face involuntary manslaughter charges. And, as expected, the case has created a media circus. Cameras were everywhere this morning as Michael's family and Conrad entered the Los Angeles courthouse.

Jackson's mother, father, and siblings (including LaToya, Janet, Jermaine, and Randy) made their way through throngs of crowds praising the late King of Pop. Murray was escorted under heavy watch amidst boos, hisses, and angry shouts from MJ fans on the street.

When the trial finally began, there were plenty of emotions among nearly everyone in the courtroom. Conrad's defense is claiming that Michael caused his own death when he overdosed on Propofol back in June 2009.

"On June 25 for 10 hours Michael Jackson was frustrated because he could not sleep, frustrated that his doctor refused to give him a drug that he wanted," Murray's defense attorney Ed Chernoff said in his opening remarks. "He did an act without his doctor’s knowledge, without his doctor's permission, against his doctor's orders. He did an act that caused his own death."

Obviously that statement caused quite a shock among Jackson's family and reportedly caused his mother Katherine to break down. But that barely compares to what the defense team brought out later in the day.

Conrad's lawyers presented tape of Michael slurring while under the influence of his medications. Radar Online has published snippets of the audio, which is actually rather shocking to hear. The team then showed off a picture of Jackson's dead body (which has since hit the internet) causing sister Janet to burst out in tears.

It all made for quite a lot of activity (especially since we're only on day one). Throughout the duration of the trial, several of Michael's closest associates will be asked to take the stand. Tr3s fave Kenny Ortega may be the first to testify and is expected to be grilled heavily about the This Is It rehearsals. And, needless to say, we are very curious to hear what he has to say.

Expect to hear the name Romeo Santos a lot more in the next two months. Aventura’s former frontman has just begun a massive push for his debut solo album Formula Vol. 1 and it's definitely got our attention. Artists like La Mala Rodriguez, Mario Domm, Lil Wayne and more have now confirmed appearances on the record.

The official drop date for Formula is November 8, although Romeo fans have already gotten a taste of singles like "You" and "Promise" (featuring Usher). To help promote the release, Santos' record company has created a colorful commercial they are now broadcasting across the web.

The Formula spot plays around with the album's name by highlighting chemistry concoctions built around the guest stars. What do you get when you add Anthony Santos, Romeo, and Tomatito? A very explosive mix!

Pitbull will also be appearing on Formula, but not on the standard version. Mr. 305's track will be on the "extended edition" sold exclusively at Wal-Mart. You can check out more info on the album (and see that colorful promo) when you visit Romeo's official site.
