It's nice to know there's at least one Latino in Gotham City. And for the upcoming sequel The Dark Knight Rises, it's Cuban-American TV star Nestor Carbonell. He'll be returning for a second time to play Mayor Anthony Garcia and dropped a few hits about the top secret set.
"What I saw of the sets was just unbelievable," Nestor told MTV. "[Director Christopher Nolan] has announced that this is his last go at 'Batman' and yeah, if it is the last for him, he certainly goes out big. It's massive."
Set to be released next July, the newest Dark Knight will reportedly have appearances from super villains Catwoman and Bane. But don't expect an over-the-top comic book story with this film. According to Carbonell, this will be the most cerebral Batman movie yet.
"[Nolan's] made it that much more real, much more accessible and he's made a psychological thriller out of all of them, so he's great, he's amazing."
So far, all fans have been able to see is a brief online teaser of the movie. But we're sure as next summer draws closer there will be a lot more Dark Knight sneak peeks to come!
Are you looking forward to the new Dark Knight movie? Sound off in the comments or @MTV3.
