Is Christina Aguilera Getting Fired From 'The Voice'?

Now we've all heard the rumors about Christina Aguilera causing behind-the-scenes drama on The Voice. But were her antics upsetting enough to get her fired from the series? Several reports are saying YES, though Voice producers are denying it.

According to Celeb Dirty Laundry, Xtina is indeed on the way out. She currently has a contract that leads into season 2, but it may not get extended any further. Reasons for the chop include high salary demands, friction with producers, and a lack of interest in the contestants.

Of course, anyone who's watched the show can clearly see that Aguilera has great chemistry with her fellow judges. NBC execs quickly rose to her defense, saying the network had no intentions of letting her go.

Either way, we'll still definitely see her alongside Cee-Lo, Adam Levine, and Blake Shelton when the show returns February 5. And if Christina decides to make her exit after that, they can always grab talent from The Voice’s Mexican counterpart.
