Manny Ramirez Released From Jail After Domestic Dispute

At 6 feet and 220 pounds, Manny Ramirez is a definite force to be reckoned with. And imagine that huge frame attacking a defenseless woman! Those are the accusations that the former MLB slugger is currently facing after his wife called police following a domestic dispute.

Ramirez was hauled off to a Florida jail after a bitter blowout with his wife Juliana. She claims that he hit her in the face with an open hand and caused her head to hit a wall. Manny, not surprisingly, is denying the charges saying that he grabbed her shoulders, but never struck her.

Either way, Juliana's injuries paint a vivid picture. Her entire face is reportedly swollen and there is a major contusion on the back of her head. Since the incident, Ramirez has been barred from having any contact with her.

A media circus swarmed Manny after he left Broward County jail this morning and, in a move that his lawyers would have probably advised against, he let out his fiery temper. Screaming in Spanish, Ramirez grabbed a reporter's mic and tossed it across the parking lot.
