Canela and Espino Rumors Are True: They're Having a Baby!

It's confirmed, folks. You can all believe the rumors that sexy soap opera stars Gaby Espino and Jencarlos Canela are going to be parents, because it's true.

After some technological difficulties, the hot Latino couple managed to get on Twitcam, specifically to announce the happy news. Gaby is officially with child. The beautiful Venezuelan actress is pregnant with Canela's baby on the way. They wanted to be the first to tell their fans, turning down offers from various magazines that wanted to run the story.

"Sí, estamos embarazados." Canela finally fessed up to this chisme that had us all at the edge of our seats.

As any proud father-to-be, he wanted the whole world to know they will be having a baby, and it's a very emotional and exciting time in their lives. While they have no idea whether it will be a boy or a girl, one thing is certain: it was the best gift that life could have given the happy couple.

They said they wanted to make the announcement on Twitter, instead of through more formal news channels, because they felt they owed it to their fans. Gaby feels blessed they have such loyal and loving fans and wanted to share the joyful news online. Canela and Espino have been living together for a while, along with her daughter, Oriana, whom she had from a previous marriage. Now that they are going to have a baby together, they wanted all their fans to be in the know.

Gaby and Jencarlos met on the set of a telenovela, Más Sabe El Diablo, while she was still married to Cristóbal Lander, Oriana's biological father. The couple were just platonic friends back then, despite the many rumors that they were together, eventually causing Gaby and Cristóbal to split up for a while.

Cristóbal was no angelito during the separation, however, as there were rumors that he impregnated another actress, Claudia Álvarez. Did I forget to mention Claudia was dating the sexy Mexican singer/actor Yahir at the time? Yup! However, Claudia and Cristóbal denied these allegations.

Things started to slow down between Espino and Canela after a while, and Espino and Lander's marriage eventually ended, after unsuccessfully trying to rekindle their romance and their relationship. Wow! Talk about a real life melodrama. Que dramón!

This story does have a happy ending, however, as Gaby and Jencarlos are now officially together and are clearly enjoying their relationship. He is a great friend to her daughter and loves her very much. Best of all, the three have become quite the charming little family, and their little bun in the oven will soon be on its way.
