Hotshot Boxer Victor Ortiz Dabbles In Underwear Modeling

Eat your heart out Rafael Nadal! Sure the tennis great's Armani campaign "seemed" provocative, but it's nothing compared to the new underwear ads featuring Victor Ortiz. The Mexican-American Welterweight Champ recently flossed quite a bit of skin for the skivvy site Freshpair.com.

Touted as one of today's hottest young fighters, Ortiz has been making a ton of headlines as of late. And keep in mind, this was all BEFORE the underwear ad! Victor happens to be the next contender for Floyd Mayweather and is due to go fist-to-fist with the champ on September 17.

Is it possible that he joined Freshpair as a publicity stunt to stir up ticket sales? It's definitely working in the boxer brief company's favor. Pictures of a shirtless Ortiz have popped up on dozens of gossip sites, including TMZ.

Though he's got a very good shot at taking down Mayweather next month, it's actually pretty shrewd of Victor to moonlight as a hunky male model. That way, if the boxing career fades he'll always have a second profession to fall back on (assuming he can avoid any devastating punches to the face).
