Beyoncé's Little Sister Shunned From Miami Beach Club Because Of Giant Banana

DJ Solange Knowles, better known for being Beyoncé's sister, had quite a stressful Saturday night after not being allowed into a Miami Beach club. The reason? She was carrying a giant banana. Uh, what? Yes, you read that right. Miami Beach club goers never cease to amaze me.

Knowles was denied entrance to the Cameo this weekend because she was holding a "5-foot tall, inflatable banana." She became hostile and got into an altercation with the police after refusing to leave.

The pseudo-celebrity, however, believes she was turned away because of discrimination. She went on a 20-line Twitter rant about how police abuse their power and Miami clubs exercise discriminative practices. She should have left her yellow friend at home.

She stated in her tweets that she could have left quietly, but wanted to publicize this incident to raise awareness. Solange claims the police pulled a weapon on her, but no one else has verified this as of yet. The department told her to file a formal complaint, and they will be investigating these allegations.

Beyoncé's sister became "unruly with off-duty officers" after they tried to calm her down. She claims an officer pulled a knife on her and threatened to deflate her giant banana.

Solange, please take your banana and go home. Beyoncé has enough things to focus on besides having to worry about her little sister getting into trouble on a Saturday night. The singer just announced she was preggers at this years Video Music Awards.
