You've got to hand it to Piers Morgan, he certainly knows how to get a guest to open up. Tr3s fave George Lopez happened to be on his CNN talk show this week and spoke very candidly about his past, his present, and his views on politics.

Delving into his younger years, Lopez spoke very fondly about his dearly departed grandmother. He explained how she had raised him from the age of 10 and played a very important role in his upbringing.

"She was the one that, whether good or bad, I loved the most," a teary George explained. "I wish that I would've told her that there was nobody that loved her or would have protected her more than me."

Of course knowing Lopez, things didn't stay on a sad note for long. George quickly lightened the mood by taking jabs at controversial politician Sarah Palin. When asked what he would do if she were elected President, he said,

"I would move to Canada! I like my politicians to actually have a political background."

One other interesting topic that Piers got Lopez to discuss was his ex-wife Ann Serrano. As you may recall, George went through a bitter divorce last year after 17 years of marriage. Speaking fondly about their relationship, he concluded,

"I was fortunate enough to be married to her for 17 years. And as marriages go, it was fun. We used to look at each other and laugh, and we had nothing when we started. So it was a great period."

Okay I'm going to hand you the up-side here right away because obviously this is serious business. Kim Kardashian, contrary to the opinion provided by her original medical konsultant, Khloe Kardashian, does not have ringworm.

Whew. I know. Take a moment. Here, have some water.

*Yoga breaths*

Okay. Now that we are a little better hydrated and have had a minute to collect ourselves, let's talk.

As we are by now all aware, Kim revealed to the world on Sunday's "Keeping Up With The Kardashians" that she had discovered some round patches of strange-looking, scaly skin on her otherwise perfect, and naturally quite flawless legs. Of course, thoughts of tabloid bullying and deep feelings of pain and self-doubt nearly overwhelmed Kim:

"People don't understand the pressure on me to look perfect... When I gain a pound, it's in the headlines. Imagine what the tabloids would do to me if they saw all these spots?"

Those of us whose hips and thighs are too unimportant to dominate even the headlines of our local newspapers could never understand the sort of pressure Kim experiences. (Imagine her distress at the addition of gaining twelve or more ounces of unsightly pudge!)

Nevertheless, our thoughts immediately turned to what this suspicious scaliness might portend. And so sisters Kim and Khloe put their heads together to try to determine the cause of the unsightly blemishes, before ultimately turning to expert dermatologist Dr. Harold Lancer of Rodeo Drive, Beverly Hills, CA.

After ruling out other more dangerous possibilities, including skin failure, alien super-viruses, pizzathehut-itis and untreated zombie bites, Dr. Lancer informed the deeply koncerned Kardashians that Kim is in facts suffering from psoriasis, an autoimmune condition exacerbated by stress. The doctor kautioned Kim that if her kondition is to remain under kontrol, the reality star will need to lower her stress level by leading a more low-key existence.

"That's just not possible", Kim kountered.

She is, after all, in the midst of planning a wedding, to kwarterback* Kris Humphries of the New Jersey Nets, in addition to her duties as a fashion and fragrance designer, entrepreneur and author of contemporary literary fiction.

Katie Coman, director of communications for the National Psoriasis Foundation, empathized with the reality star.

"The population can often be very cruel because they think the disease is contagious or has to do with being dirty," said Coman, who noted that LeAnn Rimes also battled the condition. "Celebrities with psoriasis are under intense pressure, and stress is a trigger for psoriasis."

Let me tell you something, Kim, lady to lady: You need to take this lemon and turn it into LIMONCELLO.

In all seriousness, we know how hard this all is on you and stuff, but how about you use your fame to help others? Please, pick up the phone and call your publicist and tell him or her to pick up their phone and call their assistant and tell the assistant to pick up his or her phone and call the assistant of someone at the National Psoriasis Association (maybe start by asking for Katie Coman?) and ask them if you can volunteer to be their spokesperson.

We're all rooting for you, Kim. We can get through this if we stick together.

(*Yes, I am aware they are a basketball team. Give me a break. WE ARE ALL SUFFERING.)

Okay Ladies, US Weekly has announced that Alexander "Eric Northman" Skarsgard has split from long-term girlfriend Kate Bosworth and he is BACK ON THE MARKET!

Wait up, don't go throw on those Herve Leger bandage dresses and platform stilettos just yet. First, have a seat and read up on the rest of the story. (You know, so you can make appropriate small talk after you track ASkars down, and before you toss your arms around his neck and cover him with smoochies...)

Let us break it down:

1. Although this is 'new' news for us, it's old news for Alex. Apparently these two called it quits a while ago.

2. Eric is totally on the prowl, and he was last spotted at Comic-Con with a brunette beauty:

"During a July 21 Film District bash... in San Diego, the actor, 34, flirted with a brunette — and left the party with her."

This makes sense, right? After all, he's been with wispy blondie Bosworth forever. It may be just the right time for a curvy dark-haired lassie! Brunette ladies, start your engines...

3. But don't get any long term ideas just yet, girls. ASkars has been in a relationship for two years - (that's seven hundred and thirty days, or more than seventeen thousand hours) and he is definitely appreciating the freedom:

"He's single," confirms a source to US Weekly, "and he is loving the attention!"

4. Of course, our hearts go out to Kate. Right? Well, don't let that get you down:

"It was very mutual," a source tells the new issue of Us Weekly. "And it happened a while ago".

5. Sources further speculate that the breakup was long in coming, given that the pair met on set during the filming of their film Straw Dogs, which has been sitting grimly on the shelf forever, awaiting release.

Though the remake of the classic movie is now set to hit theaters in September, it seems that Kate and Alex couldn't hang in there through the summer. Yikes -what will the premiere red carpet scene be like? Awkward!

Alright now - go get dolled up and buy plane tickets to southern California. And don't worry, if Skarsgard is taken, maybe you can have your pick from one of these guys!

This week, bachata kingpin Prince Royce proved that he has plenty of musical staying power. The 22-year-old crooner's debut album has topped Billboard's Latin Album charts for the second time since its release over a year ago.

The first time Prince Royce shot to #1 was back in April, a full 58 weeks after it first hit shelves. Now in its 73rd week, the critically-acclaimed album bested Maná and Enrique Iglesias for the top slot.

Not only that, Royce's debut got him multiple Premios Juventud awards, a Latin Grammy nomination, and has so far sold over two million copies. Now just imagine what'll happen when that long awaited English record hits stores.

We're definitely proud of Prince's accomplishments and wish him well with his continued album success. And judging by the releases this week, he made need it. New daddy-to-be Luis Fonsi just dropped his anticipated Tierra Firme record, which means it'll be a tough battle to stay at #1.

Have you picked up Prince Royce's album yet? Sound off in the comments or @MTV3.

As you know, we've covered aspects of the DREAM Act initiative for quite some time. On the national level, it offered a path to citizenship for undocumented immigrants seeking to attend college or join the military. And though the federal DREAM legislation failed to pass, governor Jerry Brown has enacted an alternate version of the bill in his state of California.

"I'm committed to expanding opportunity wherever I can find it," Brown said during Monday's bill-signing ceremony. "And certainly these kinds of bills promote a goal of a more inclusive California and a more educated California."

Democratic Assemblyman Gil Cedillo authored the California bill, which has quite a few differences from its national DREAM counterpart. For one thing, this version would give undocumented students privately funded college scholarships and would not allow them to secure citizenship.

Those who receive money to attend college will still keep their illegal immigrant status, which, we imagine, would make it pretty difficult to secure work after graduation. But an education is an education, and the measure does provide plenty of incentives to work hard and focus on school.

Brown, who received a good deal of Latino votes in last year's gubernatorial election, has stated that this bill was a "gesture of goodwill" towards the people who helped get him into office. But, as expected, the California DREAM Act is not without its critics.

Several high-profile Republicans have spoken out against the measure, saying that U.S. citizens may now be denied entrance into schools because of increased competition. They also find it unfair that undocumented immigrants will be getting financial assistance.

The fact that the money will be privately funded helps trump that argument. No taxpayer dollars will be covering the undocumented students' tuition. Though if Cedillo has his way, that may not always be the case. He is currently pushing for a variation of the bill, which would allow public money to be incorporated into the Cali DREAM Act too.

Perhaps one of the DREAM students themselves, best summarized the measure. Speaking to Reuters, undocumented UC Berkeley undergrad Julian Rivera said,

"It doesn't matter where you come from, it doesn't matter what your background is, it just matters that you have passion for something and you want to do it. This is a country that has given us that freedom."

You've got to hand it to Britney Spears, she definitely has respect for her Latino fans. Appearing on YouTube this week, the pop princess offered an español greeting and announced South American dates for her Femme Fatale tour.

"Hola South America," Spears announced in the video. "I know I didn’t have a chance to come see you guys on my Circus tour. So this time I'm making sure that I bring my Femme Fatale down south so I can pay you guys a very special visit."

And though, admittedly, Brit's español abilities aren't top-notch, she did have some linguistic assistance in the clip. Her Latin backup dancers Kat and Marco joined her for the announcement, translating the message for the Spanish audience.

So far, the only confirmed South American dates are November 15 in Rio de Janeiro and November 18 in Sao Paulo. But Spears did promise that Brazil won't be her only stop. Keep checking her website for all of the latest updates!

It looks like Enrique Iglesias has joined the X-rated photo club. At the request of an eager fan, the pop crooner snapped a picture of his privates on stage at a Sydney concert!

As expected, the "friendly" gesture drove the crowd wild and cracked up all of his fellow bandmates. Interestingly, this isn't the first time Iglesias has shared his "junk" with the world. He had done a similar camera-in-the-pants move for a fan at New York’s Madison Square Garden.

After all that, you've got wonder; have the notorious pix surfaced online yet? Apparently Enrique's dedicated fans have decided to respect his privates, choosing not to publish the sexy snaps on any of the gossip websites.

But even if Iglesias' "junk" pix do go viral, it may not necessarily be a bad thing. As we've seen with former congressman, Anthony Weiner, these latest naughty snaps can possibly lead to an Enrique action figure or perhaps a job at Hustler magazine.

What do you think about Enrique's "friendly" gesture? Sound off in the comments or @MTV3.

What would you do if your body stopped aging at 25... then you had an extra year and could live eternally forever?...The only thing, is that you have to buy your time to live... and if you don't do so, you can die tomorrow!! This is where director Andrew Niccol's newest Sci-Fi film In Time starts off. He already showed us a world in the future with perfect bodies in Gattaca.

In Time's trailer was just released and it presents a world where time has become the ultimate currency. You stop aging at 25, but there's a catch: you're genetically engineered to live only one more year, unless you can buy your way out of it. The rich "earn" decades at a time (remaining at age 25), becoming essentially immortal, while the rest beg, borrow or steal enough hours to make it through the day.

When a man from the wrong side of the tracks, played by Justin Timberlake, is falsely accused of murder, he is forced to go on the run with a beautiful hostage -played by Amanda Seyfried. Living minute to minute, the duo’s love becomes a powerful tool in their war against the system and against time. It's actually a very clever social commentary on the world we live today where the rich are set for life, but the poor are literally screwed!

Other 25 year-olds to look out for in the film are Olivia Wilde, Cillian MurphyJohnny Galecki (Big Bang Theory), and Alex Pettyfer.

Niccol is a filmmaker with an amazingly unique vision and imagination of what the future beholds for our children's great-grandchildren. Niccol's films seem to focus on the concept of the fountain of youth that according to Justin Timberlake, is a subject we all seem to be obsessed with. Gattaca is a huge film fave amongst film buffs and will sure get Niccol's fans running to theaters when In Time is released this fall.

Another reason to run to theaters is to see Timberlake in his first leading role. Although some may think he should stick to singing, others are really excited to see him rise as a Triple Threat star. Love him or hate him, Justin Timberlake seems destined to become a major league Hollywood player, and an A-list actor in the likes of the Will Smith's rise from rap star to  movie star.

What's certain is that the ex-Nsync'er has payed his dues, and appeared in several films where he was actually pretty good. So good, in fact, that now he has his own leading role in a 100 million dollar budget film! After his success with The Social Network, it appears that he might have landed the role to put him on the map of Hollywood superstars.

So whether it be for Justin's leading man debut or to catch another glimpse of Niccol's wild imagination, this might be a good flick to put on your must watch list.

What do you think of Justin Timberlake as a leading man? Are you and fan of Gattaca and want to see more of this brilliant director? Let us know your thoughts!

Apparently it's breakup season in Hollywood right now. In between the J. Lo divorce and Kat Von D's engagement drama, celebrity couple Kate del Castillo and Aaron Díaz have decided to call it quits.

Rumors have been flying for months about Kate and Aaron's marriage problems. Even her own father seemed to question whether the relationship would last. But despite continuous denials, both del Castillo and Diaz finally issued statements today confirming the inevitable.

"Aaron ha sido lo más hermoso que he tenido y lo seguirá siendo,es por eso que hemos decidido separarnos, para poder amarnos siempre," Kate said.

Aaron went on to say,

"Qué difícil es separarte de alguien cuando no es por falta de amor. Más difícil aún, aceptar que una relación tan bonita fracasó, por el éxito de dos personas con diferentes caminos."

Though it was nice of them to keep things publicly civil, we're imaging there were some deep reasons for the split. For one thing, del Castillo's career is red hot, which could have threatened Diaz. There's also the issue of timing, and the fact that they are constantly working (and constantly apart).

Perhaps the most interesting rumor may be in regards to Kate's sexual preferences. After seeing her steamy lady love scenes in Without Men and La Reina del Sur, you've got to wonder…Could she now be deciding to swing the other way?

Why do you think Kate and Aaron broke up? Sound off in the comments or @MTV3.

Long before there was Shakira, Aventura, and Prince Royce, popular Latin musicians were few and far between. Back in the day it was extremely rare to see a Spanish album score on the American Billboard charts, though a few artists were able to successfully break through. And now, a handful of those musical trailblazers are getting recognized with the Latin Grammys’ Lifetime Achievement Award.

Joe Arroyo, Gal Costa, Jose Feliciano, Alex Lora, Les Luthiers, Ruben Rada and Linda Ronstadt are the names the Latin Grammys decided to honor this year and we couldn't be happier with their decision. Each of these artists has left an indelible mark on the music world and influenced generations of young singers.

Sadly Colombian singer Joe Arroyo passed away today, but his musical stamp will not be forgotten. His group Fruko y sus Tesos released several landmark singles. Brazilian songstress Gal Costa has sold millions of records on her own, changing the face of tropical music. Les Luthiers is one of the only bands being honored, and deservedly so. Their innovative fusion of comedy, rock, and Latin rhythms represent pure sonic perfection.

Alex Lora is considered a Mexican rock pioneer. His guitar work is legendary and has earned him multiple Grammy and Latin Grammy nominations. And anyone who's a fan of percussion is well aware of Ruben Rada. His groundbreaking Afro-Uruguayan style has been admired by everyone from Paul McCartney to Maná.

Jose Feliciano has been embraced by U.S. audiences since the 1960's. His classic renditions of "Light My Fire" and "Feliz Navidad" are radio standards and have gone platinum around the world. Linda Ronstadt has similarly been embraced by a massive audience. She's won Grammys, Emmys, and even a Tony Award for her work. Her 1987 Spanish-language LP, Canciones de mi Padre, was a certified smash and opened up mariachi music to millions of American ears.

Now that you've had your history lesson, we highly recommend picking up a few of these artists' classic albums. And you can see them all get honored this coming November at a special ceremony from the Las Vegas Four Seasons.
