Sandra Echeverría Denies Hooking Up With Marc Anthony

Since Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony announced their mouth-dropping split on July 15, several rumors have spun involving secret affairs and steamy hook-ups. The latest to hit the fan involves Marc Anthony's alleged romantic involvement with model, telenovela star and aspiring singer Sandra Echeverría.

The Mexican beauty and the former Mr. Lopez met while recording a music video for Marc's track, "Recuérdame". While filming, the boricua singer discovered her talented voice and the two later recorded a duet for the soap opera, which are both titled "La Fuerza del Destino."

According to her assistant, the two hit it off and Marc continued sending her sweet messages and calling her constantly after production wrapped. This isn't the first rumor claiming Marc's infidelity. Another source took to Us Weekly and declared that Marc and J.Lo almost split two years ago after Marc allegedly had an affair with a stewardess he met in a private jet back in 2009.

As expected, Sandra Echeverría released a statement denying the hook-up rumors and declaring:

"I don't know where these rumors came from...It was incredible to be able to work with such a huge talent. We are just friends."

Are Sandra and Marc trying to pull a J.Lo and William Levy? All we know is that these rumors seem to have hit in a very opportune time. Sandra has recently dropped her first album and her latest telenovela is set to premiere on July 31st. Sounds like a friendship with benefits to us! We didn't say it had to be naughty...
