It looks like Maná has broken yet another record. It's almost starting to get predictable at this point, isn't it? First they took over the Billboard singles charts, then they blew out the box office at L.A.'s Staples Center, and now the Mexican quartet officially have the best-selling Latin album of the year.
But in all honesty, this latest achievement is probably their most impressive. In just three months, their Drama y Luz record has toppled albums from heavy hitters like Ricky Martin, Shakira, and Don Omar.
It's also interesting to note that Drama’s first single, "Lluvia al Corazón," posted the most weeks at #1 on Billboard's Latin Songs Chart. And keep in mind, this is their first album in five years. Just imagine if they were cranking 'em out as fast as Pitbull.
This week actually marks the end of the first leg of Maná's Drama y Luz tour, but we doubt it's the last you'll see of them this year. After they're done counting their latest piles of cash, we're nearly certain they'll get back on the road for part two.
What do you think is the secret to Maná’s success? Sound off in the comments or @MTV3.
