By Michael Lopez
Right now, all eyes are on J. Lo as she decides whether or not to return to the judge's seat on American Idol. Steven Tyler and Randy Jackson have already confirmed their participation, but Jenny From The Block seems to holding out to the very last minute. But according to inside sources, she will indeed be coming back, with an announcement expected later this week.
Ever since season 10 of A.I. ended (with some incredible ratings), people were wondering if Lopez would return. For one thing, she already committed herself to ¡Q’Viva!, a new reality show with hubby Marc Anthony. She also was very coy in her interviews about the subject.
But after some major wooing by executives from Fox (which may have included that royals dinner), she may indeed sign on the dotted line. We certainly hope she does because, as last season proved, her chemistry with Steven and Randy was fantastic.
Then again, if Jennifer does return would that jeopardize ¡Q’Viva!? It's very doubtful. American Idol producer Simon Fuller is also involved with the new series and we're certain he could schedule it around her increasingly busy schedule. Plus, we could see some great cross-promotions for both sides if it everything works out as planned.
