Diego Torres Debuts The Official Theme Song of La Copa América

Diego Torres'  "Creo en América"  was selected this year as the official song of the biggest sport event of the year in Latin America, La Copa América, which is being held in Argentina 2011 from July 1st to July 24. This theme song is actually a collaboration between Torres and one of Colombia's hottest bands of the moment, Grammy Award Winners ChocQuibTown. Brazilian singer Ivete Sangalo also chipped in her part to this classic collaboration.

The inauguration ceremony was truly spectacular with a creative theme dedicated to the origins of the world. The big launch took place in Buenos Aires at the popular Obelisco monument.

With the lyrics of this song, Diego Torres gives a powerful message that speaks of America as one; as a single entity, as one powerful united continent, where all the trivial differences are left behind. "Creo en América"  will be all over Latin America and the world this week.
