I feel bad for poor Octomom, Nadya Suleman… Not for her 14 kids, her inability to get a job or for being on the brink of losing her home, but rather, for signing on to the wrong dating reality show.

The fame-starved mother of 14 will star in a new reality show in which 3 bachelors will compete to win her  heart.

The show is called Blind Date and it's expected to air in October on HDNet.

Apparently, although there are no specifics yet, the winning bachelor will get a cash prize to match Nadia's heart!

Let’s face it:

It has been suggested that Octomom's motivation to get impregnated with her 8 children might have stemmed from her insane desire to be famous, to begin with. The woman has been fishing for a TV project since the day she popped out her eight 2 year olds!

She was so desperate for attention she not only made the rounds on networks, but last year she subjected herself to the public scolding of Suze Orman and Dr Phil as they tried to help her reorganize her life. (Yikes!)

A few weeks later we saw her on a sort of soft porn clip, starring a fat old guy dressed up in diapers…. The video at least got her to YouTube and to all the gossip shows, although the limelight faded in mere 48 hours. Then, a deal to do a reality show "Octomom: Me and my 14 kids" fell through just when the troubled mom needed it the most.

So now, when she finally gets her chance, she'll star in a reality dating show where the guys will get compensated to be on the show?

Come on, Octomom, I expected more from you. You should go on "I want to marry a billionaire" because honey, that's what you need… A solvent guy, to say the least, to help you support that soccer team of yours. Not a fame-thirsty guy whose only motivation to get on the show will be to make a few bucks to get him through their acting career.

Not good, Octomom

Do you think Octomom's new show will be a hit?

Believe it or not, it's been five years since Pixar first introduced the world to Lightning McQueen and his colorful Cars cohorts. Since then, the studio's animation capabilities have grown by leaps and bounds as has the critical acclaim for its films. This week's release, Cars 2, definitely kicks the visuals up a notch, but don't expect to see it on any of the year’s Best Picture lists.

That being said, Cars 2 has a lot going for it. There's laugh out loud comedy (primarily thanks to Mater the tow truck), dynamic racing sequences, and even a few spy whodunit elements thrown in for good measure. But the maturity level has been taken down a notch, which means adults may have a tougher time identifying with this movie compared to Toy Story 3 or Up.

Another criticism that's been thrown around about Cars 2 is its merchandising elements. Granted characters like Lightning McQueen and Finn McMissile would look great in any Hot Wheels collection, that analysis may be a little off. Nothing in the film felt too forced or commercialized (though we could see Disneyland having a field day with a Cars spy ride).

From a technical standpoint, director John Lasseter and his Pixar team did a phenomenal job animating the locales. For this particular movie, the characters travel to Japan, Italy, and London, with each backdrop beautifully capturing its respective ambiance.

The voice actors also deserve credit for their sharp delivery of the lines. Sir Michael Caine is perfectly cast as a sleek James Bond-esque Aston Martin. John Turturro also has some great moments as Francesco, a Formula One racer. But as expected, it's Larry the Cable Guy's Mater that audiences will most fall in love with.

Interestingly, Mater is the primary focus of the movie. The slow-witted sidekick truck gets put center stage for Cars 2 and proves himself to be quite an engaging lead. He also offers some solid life lessons (a staple within all Pixar films) about friendship and staying true to who you are.

Bottom line: Cars 2 is pure escapism at its finest. And even though it may not have the same complexity or depth as Pixar's other recent offerings, it's still a worthy addition to the studio's catalog. Plus you also get to see the return of Woody, Buzz, and the Toy Story gang in the hilarious short, Hawaiian Vacation.

Talk about a movie that lives up to its title. Stand and Deliver THIS IS NOT! But with so many other "inspirational" high school pelis out there, Bad Teacher actually offers a breath of originality and fresh air. Just keep in mind, there's a reason it’s got an R-Rating attached to it.

Only someone like Cameron Diaz could make you want to root for a despicable teacher. On paper, her Ms. Halsey character is selfish, materialistic, and downright crude. But with Cameron's trademark charisma, she actually comes off as somewhat likeable.

From the beginning it's clear that Halsey could care less about "making a difference." All she wants are fancy cars, designer clothes, and a nice sugar daddy to pay for it all. But when her rich fiancée leaves her high and dry, she's forced to fall back on a teaching career (and that's when the real fun begins).

Though Diaz does a great job carrying the movie, it's actually her colorful coworkers that deliver the most memorable lines. There's The Office’s Phyllis Smith as the awkward Ms. Davies, Lucy Punch as goodie two-shoes Ms. Squirrell, and Tr3s fave Justin Timberlake turning in a deprecating "dorky" performance as Mr. Delacorte. Each of them have great moments and display genuine onscreen chemistry with Cameron.

We all know why Diaz and JT work so well together, but interestingly it's Jason Segal's character that winds up being the best match for Ms. Halsey. His Coach Gettis is also a bit rough around the edges and proves to be the perfect R-Rated sparring partner for the Bad Teacher.

Now when all is said and done, will Ms. Halsey change her ways and become a positive role model to her students? We're not going to reveal that twist here, but let's just say this movie isn't afraid to stay true to its raunchy roots.

Bottom line: Bad Teacher deserves a solid A- for its ability to push the comedy envelope. Cameron Diaz really lays herself on the line with this role and isn't afraid to drop a few "F-bombs" to get her point across. For that alone, it definitely makes the grade.

Believe it or not, over 18 million Americans are currently living with diabetes. And one of them happens to be the highest-ranking Latina in the legal system. U.S. Supreme Court Justice Sonia Sotomayor recently spoke up about her condition and offered encouragement to those diagnosed with the disease.

"It's a disease you have to deal with, but you can," Sotomayor said this week at a function for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.

Sonia was diagnosed back when she was just seven years old and, as her accomplishments clearly show, it never got in the way of her dreams. She went to describe how she injects herself with insulin up to six times per day, often before sitting down to the Supreme Court bench.

Several diabetic children were also part of the discussion and clearly found encouragement from Sotomayor’s words. When asked by a young girl about the positives of the disease, Sonia was quick to answer.

"[It] taught me discipline," she said proudly.

And for the record, Sotomayor isn't the only famous face living with the disease. Halle Berry, Tommy Lee, and Nick Jonas are just a few of the many celebrities who have been diagnosed with diabetes.

An 18 year-old German music hacker is going to jail for stealing from Lady Gaga, Justin Timberlake, Mariah Carey, Ke$ha and Leona Lewis.

Dj. Stolen made honor to his artistic name by stealing music, demos and personal info from the musicians and selling them on the internet for over 13,000 sterling pounds. According to the BBC, the hacker used phishing emails and trojan horse software to steal unpublished songs and then offered them on the internet for sale.

The hacker's purpose, according to the courts, was to be recognized. Well, then his 15 minutes of recognition gave him 18 months of jail time in juvenile detention and court ordered internet addiction treatment.

In the German tabloid The Daily Bild, the hacker, who's name is not being released for legal reasons, issued an apology to his idol Gaga by saying:

"Dear Lady GaGa, I am ashamed of what I have done. I did not think about the consequences."

What do you think of the jail sentence for this music Juvi? Do you think Gaga and the other artists should forgive him?

Hi friends!

Okay, this past weekend I had the opportunity to attend the very exclusive birthday party for Justin Bieber's manager Scooter Braun!

The event took place Saturday night inside the Music Box Theater in Hollywood. The second you walked into the venue you knew it was going to be a night full of celebration. Braun's guest were taken to the rooftop of the Music Box to enjoy Cirque du Soleil acts, beer pong tables, an EA Sports gaming area and even fortune tellers! One of the highlights of the night from the pre-party was watching Justin Bieber and Jayden Smith play beer pong with water in their cups. Awwww too cute!

Around 11pm, Scooter came out in a silver tux to announce to his guests that the main room was open for business! Everyone walked down to the main theater area of the venue to find it filled with cupcakes, a photographer on deck and a DJ on stage with air dancers swirling above him.

At this point I had no clue to what was next. The crowd began to dance and I kept spotting celebrities like Kim Kardashian, Mary J Blige, Nicky and Paris Hilton plus a lot of high-profile music executives.

Then an MC hit the stage to introduce Justin Bieber who performed with Jayden Smith. As soon as Justin finished his set, he welcomed to the stage his gift to Braun the one and only MC HAMMER! The crowd went crazy including Rita Wilson who was dancing along to "Too Legit To Quit." Usher, who served as Master of Ceremonies then finished the night with an impromptu of all his hits...he even sang "You Make Wanna" my absolute favorite hit record.

The night was unforgettable and one of my favorite parts was walking home with a yummy cupcake and a OnePiece jumpsuit!

Until next year Scooter, happy 30th!

xx Karli

P.S. Asher Roth and Adam Levine also performed, I just didn't want to overwhelm you guys ha!

It looks like Justin Bieber may need to get some tips from Eva Mendes. In the second "obsessed fan" story of the week, the 17-year-old pop star was assaulted on the streets of New York City.

The good news is that Justin was uninjured. But regardless, his press reps are saying he was very "shaken up" by the experience. It all went down when The Biebs was signing autographs in front of a local Macy's department store.

JB even sent out a tweet promoting the appearance shortly before the incident.

"gonna chill..grab a bite..then see everyone at MACY's for the #SOMEDAY launch. LEGGO!!"

The unidentified man who attacked Bieber reportedly jumped over a barrier and threw him to the ground. So far the motive is unclear, but we get the feeling Justin may be beefing up his bodyguard count in the very near future.

Were you shocked to hear about this latest celebrity "attack?" Sound off in the comments or @MTV3.

As we all know, summer is a great time of year to travel Europe. It doesn't matter if you're a freewheeling college student or an NBA superstar, there is always a ton of cultural activities to immerse yourself in. And in Dwight Howard's case, that includes Spanish flamenco dancing and spirited fun with the locals.

The Orlando Magic center happens to be in Madrid right now, on a promotional tour for Adidas Basketball. And judging from the pix that were posted on Global Grind today, he seems to be having a fantastic time!

For an appearance on a Spanish talk show, Howard donned a red wig and threw out hilarious one liners en español. He also played games with the audience and shared his favorite basketball tips.

But perhaps the funniest Dwight pic to emerge from his Spain vacation has him dancing flamenco at a Madrid restaurant. Hand-in-hand with a Spanish señorita, the 6’ 11” baller towered over everyone on the dance floor.

Howard also made sure his Twitter followers were well aware of his exploits. Throughout the week, he posted.

"I don’t know Spanish!"

"u have to get everyone in Spain to follow me lol"

"man it was for fun. It's my life I can have fun with it. U only live once."

Not even the Twilight Saga compares to the almost endless tragedy that has been the  case of Anna Nicole Smith and the fight for  those yummy 300 million bucks!

If this drama was ever brought onscreen, the story would unfold in 12 acts,  more or less like this:

Act 1: Anna Nicole, a 26 year old  small town, kinda of white-trashy hottie fishes a 90 year old oil tycoon in a bar and marries him (for love).

Act 2: The hottie is living the high life for the first time when suddenly, the old man, J. Howard Marshall, drops dead. (Anna cries while cameras roll, but makes early plans on how to spend her 300 million- Life is good!)

Act 3: The old man's will is finally read and… shocker: Anna is not in it. (The old man was no dummy and decided to leave everything to his son Pierce)

Act 4: Anna won't go down without a fight! She flirts with judges and media and opens up a national circus under the pretext that once the old guy -while partying hard- promised her the cash.

Act 5: The hottie declares bankruptcy, shoots a reality show for E! and gains 300 pounds.

Act 6: The GUESS hottie suddenly becomes America’s official guilty pleasure as audiences get hooked to watch the fat train wreck onscreen… Then the California Bankruptcy court becomes even more incoherent than Smith herself declaring  the money should go to her!

Act 7: Pierce -the old guy's son- gets furious, fights back in a Texas court…. and drops dead too.

Then,  suddenly, as if the writer of this saga was fired by the studio and replaced by someone else, a unexpected change of events:

Act 8:  The hottie chick gets pregnant and decides to hide the father's identity…

Act 9: Every guy in America and their grandpa comes out on TV saying they are the father…The race simmers down to 2: A lawyer and some cute guy the hottie dated like for two hours.

Act 10:  Anna gives birth to Dannielynn…. Anna’ s older son dies 2 days later and Anna dies 6 months later.

Act 11: The two potential fathers fight it out in a court in Aruba… The cutest gets the baby. (This is sort of cliché, why always the cute guy, may we ask?)

Act 12:  On June 23, 2011 in a 5 to 4 vote, the Supreme Court rules the money should go to Pierce Marshall, not Anna Nicole. The irony? They’re both dead, and they both spent the last ten years of their lives worried sick over money they'd never live to see. The End!

Brilliant…. No sober writer could ever come up with such a twisted, cruel and entertaining story! I want to write the play and make millions out of it!

Good news Fringe fans, you won't have to wait until Comic-Con to hear some updates about next season. In an exclusive interview with Latina, former cast member Kirk Acevedo revealed that he will be returning to the series in the fall.

But don't get your hopes too high, it looks like Kirk may only be back for a few guest appearances. As die-hard Fringe followers may recall, his character, Charlie Francis was killed early in season two. But with alternate worlds, shapeshifters, and all other kinds of supernatural elements afoot, it's not far-fetched to imagine him coming back.

"I spoke to the [Fringe] show runners," Acevedo confirmed. "They want me back for a few episodes."

And why wouldn't they? The Puerto-Rican American actor has quite a hefty acting resume. Outside of Fringe, he's appeared on the HBO drama Oz, Law & Order, and the critically-acclaimed film, The Thin Red Line.

But according to Kirk, it's Fringe that has built him the most loyal fan base,

"The fans are great," he explained. "Everybody's just so cool. I'm a sci-fi geek, too!"
