The Truth About The Fight Between Alejandra Guzmán And Alicia Machado

Alicia Machado's image has been ruined enough already by her own infamous tweets, including the one about "The Chinas".  She really doesn't need to add yet another "chisme" to ruin further more her fragile reputation.

Well, apparently the Ex-Miss Universe is oblivious of this and has been behaving like a “b**ch” on set, and Alejandra Guzmán called on her!

Guzmán, legendary Mexican singer and actress, admitted to Charityn Goyco on her show Escándalo TV that she and Machado had an impasse during the tapings of the telenovela Una Familia con Suerte over at Televisa, when Machado kept the whole cast an crew of the series waiting for an hour an a half, as she "retouched" her makeup.

Unfortunately the series producer didn't wear the pants on this production, since no producer would ever allow an hour to go by without filming, just waiting around at 1:00 am for a single actress.

Mostly, on sets, actors have a call time which is usually 2 hours prior to filming. Once filming starts, they cannot stop to retouch makeup (unless the director calls for it, and is usually done by the makeup artist on set) or make phone calls or anything, until the director officially "wraps". The schedules for these tapings are extremely tight, with 25 and even 30 scenes to shoot per day, so every minute wasted is big money lost!

It is professional 101 to be on time, get to the set with your lines learned and not make your cast members wait around for you.

Luckily for the rest of the cast, Alejandra Guzmán is not afraid to speak her mind and apparently after being fed up with the situation, she stormed into Machado's dressing room and told her: "You go downstairs and do your job, we’re all waiting for YOU… Be a professional".

Rumor has it that Machado and Guzmán fight was so intense, they even pulled each other hair, but Guzmán denied it.

Although professional altercations are very common between women for jealousy or lack of chemistry. (It is said that Kim Catrall and Sarah Jessica Parker went on a cold war, never speaking to each other, yet gossiping behind each others backs during the shoot on Sex and the City 2)  lack of professionalism is a whole different issue! Being inconsiderate to your cast mates does not only make you look bad in the public's eyes, but it might even affect your ability to get another job…

So Alicia, clean up your act, apologize and be professional! We are totally with Alejandra on this one!
