William Levy Hires Stand-In For 'Triunfo del Amor'

There's no denying that William Levy has been accused of "diva-esque" behavior in the past. But the latest reports from his Spanish soap, Triunfo del Amor may just take the cake. Celestrellas is claiming that Levy now uses a double for many of his scenes, which is unusual in the world of novelas.

Ever since the "I'm Into You" video boosted his star power, Levy's antics have appeared to get worse. We all know what the increased attention did to his personal life, but on the set of Triunfo del Amor, William's new stand-in has created new headaches for the cast.

Levy's double, Leonardo Santos, may look a lot like him, but it's obvious that he won't fool the viewing audience. Regardless, William has been known to send in Santos for outdoor scenes, reportedly because he "doesn’t like too much exposure to the sun."

Having William M.I.A. also forces the actors to do double the rehearsals, which may make for some behind-the-scenes tensions. But then again, he is the star and the producers know his talents can bring in a big audience. So, for now at least, what Levy wants, Levy gets!
