Debi Nova Entangled In Lawsuit With 'Lost' Star Jeremy Davies

Anyone who's been following Debi Nova's tweets knows all about her recent bloody accident. When opening her shower door back in February, the Costa Rican pop star cut open her thumb and had to be rushed to the ER. The incident was so traumatic, that Debi is now filing a lawsuit against Jeremy Davies, the owner of her Santa Monica apartment building.

If Jeremy's name sounds familiar, it’s because for three seasons he played Professor Daniel Faraday on the hit show Lost. It appears as though the shower door in his building may have been faulty (at least according to Debi), and shattered without warning.

And judging from the twitpix Nova posted after her surgery, it’s clear this was a serious matter. The damage to her hand forced her to give up the guitar and the piano for several months, which had a definite impact on her live performances.

"Not what I had planned for a Friday night," Debi tweeted the night of the accident. "At the ER getting stitched up no piano or guitar 4 me".

According to TMZ, Nova is now suing for "numerous internal and external injuries." It is still unclear how much Debi is asking for in damages, but we imagine Jeremy may be having to part with a few Lost royalty checks in the near future.
