Rosie Perez Throws Grown Up 'Prom' For Her Famous Friends

Never underestimate the power of the prom. Everyone from college freshmen to elderly grandparents have fond memories of the famous high school dance (they even made a movie about it). And now a few grown up celebs are suiting up to relive the experience, thanks to Rosie Perez.

Believe it or not, Rosie actually never attended her high school prom. So, she decided to round up a few famous faces and throw her own "adult dance" at the Edison Ballroom in New York City. Not only that, she's adding a charitable touch, by donating profits from the night to the Urban Arts Partnership.

"I was asked to go, but we couldn't afford it," Rosie told The New York Daily News. "So we just went to the after-party. This will be my first official prom. I'm excited!"

And looking at the guest list, it's easy to see why. Stars like Jesse Eisenberg, America Ferrera, Alan Cumming, and The Hangover’s Justin Bartha are all expected to attend.
