Chespirito, a.ka. Roberto Gómez Bolaños, Joins the Twitter Nation!

That's how the famed Mexican actor/director/writer/humorist Roberto Gómez Bolaños kicked off his very own Twitter feed. Of course, he's got a pattern of wisely waiting to commit to even the nicest things. He's known his wife, Florinda Meza, since 1977, but the pair held off on marriage vows until 2004! However patient Chespirito might be, his fans don't share his restraint. Just a day into his life as a tweeter, he's got 391,101 followers! Messages of love, thanks and encouragement are positively pouring in:
