José Canseco Goes Gaga On Twitter

Obviously this was a very big week for Lady Gaga. She released her Born This Way album, delivered a knockout performance on American Idol, and nearly crashed Amazon.com with her record sales. But, believe it or not, the Little Monster story that seemed to get the most attention involved random tweets from José Canseco!

Web searches for Canseco skyrocketed on Thursday after he posted some very bizarre messages to the 25-year-old pop diva.

"I love lady gaga wish I could meet her. would marry her in a second," José tweeted.

And that was only the beginning. The former MLB slugger sent out a flurry of Lady-inspired posts, many of which were quite nonsensical.

"I am her night in baseball armor"

"Her song ‘Judas’ is what we fight with everyday since we are born evil"

We're still trying to figure out José's motivations. Did he happen to fall in love with the new tracks on Born This Way? Was he mesmerized by her recent Saturday Night Live performance? It's hard to tell. But if Gaga is interested in following up on Canseco's love notes, she now knows exactly where to find him.
