If you’re not following Luis Fonsi on Twitter, now’s a good time to start! The Puerto Rican singer just announced that he will be broadcasting live fan tweets during his performance at tonight’s Latin Billboard Awards.
“Sigan twiteando #GritaconFonsi para ser parte del show de los @Latinbillboards.” Fonsi posted.
We actually have to give quite a lot of credit to Luis for the idea. With over 880,000 followers, it’s clear that he’s a powerful presence in the twitterverse. Giving them exposure such a massive scale doesn’t just help Twitter fanbase, it shows the world that Fonsi is on the cutting edge of social media.
Luis typically posts multiple tweets a day and almost always directly answers questions from his fans. For tonight’s performance, he will publish their virtual shout outs on a giant screen as he wails out his brand new single “Gritar.”
If you want your tweets to be seen by the millions of Latin Billboard watchers, follow Luis and shoot out posts using the #GritaconFonsi hashtag!
