Keri Hilson Strips Down Her Insecurities for Allure's Annual Nude Issue

"Pretty Girl Rock" star and songwriter Keri Hilson recently stripped down for Allure's annual nude issue along with Ashley Tisdale, Kaley Cuoco, and Bridget Moynahan.

While on location at the Patrick Demarchelier shoot, Ms. Keri Baby shared why she decided to bare all for the May issue of the mag, revealing the shoot's concept goes hand in hand with her latest single.

“I have a song called Pretty Girl Rock and it’s all about embracing you inner beauty and you know, letting go of your inhibitions and not seeking validation in all of the things we put on every single day. To me, this photo shoot–the nude shoot–was like dropping all of that.”

And she added: “All of my insecurities honestly went out the window the moment I saw the photo. I said you know what, I’m a woman.”

To get ready for the shoot, Hilson jokingly told Allure, "I had to starve myrself. No just kidding, but I did have to diet." Her workout regime included crunches and push-ups before and after bed. Looks like it paid off!

Next up for the songstress is a performance at South Florida's Spring Fest, where Keri, along with Chris Brown, will headline the annual Miami Memorial Weekend event.
