Belinda Causes a Commotion in Theatre

Unfortunately, controversy never fails to follow Belinda! The "Egoísta" star was recently enjoying a live performance of El Knack: The Technique of Seduction, at the Wilberto Cantón theater in Mexico City, when she was suddenly surrounded by reporters before the play's intermission.

Since their persistence interrupted the live performance, Belinda refused to answer any questions and stormed out of her seat, looking for a back exit. According to press reports, while Belinda's secret escape was taking place, one of the show producers, Odiseo Bichir, dealt with the group of reporters by shouting, "A scene is going on right now! Show respect or leave, chacales!"

Although Belinda dealt with the situation as best she could, she wanted to clear up the theater drama by declaring:

"I went to the theater to watch a performance, I thought it was disrespectful for the press to interrupt the play. They should have more respect for these actors who have been practicing for years, because it's a complicated act, and I couldn't enjoy it. I suddenly felt so guilty that everyone was surrounding me, I felt bad for the performers, that's why I got up. It's unfair what happened."

We hope reporters learn their lesson from this one and simply wait until intermission next time. Despite the madness, Belinda still took to her Twitter page to show her love for the play,

"I definitely recommend that you guys see the play Knack, muy buena! Too bad the press acted so badly."
