Daddy Yankee To Take Over Cruise Ship Halloween Weekend

Daddy Yankee may soon have to change his nickname from the Big Boss to El Capitan! This past week, the reggaeton star announced on his website that he will be hosting a three-day cruise sailing from south Florida to the Bahamas.

Taking place aboard Carnival’s Imagination cruise ship, the excursion will set sail on Halloween weekend, though costumes and monsters do not seem to be part of the itinerary. Instead, passengers will be treated to live Daddy Yankee performances, VIP parties, and a meet-and-greet with execs from his El Cartel record label.

Of course, getting all of the Daddy amenities will cost travelers a pretty penny. According to the Big Boss’ official Cruise website, tickets for the trip are going for as much as $691. Food is included, as well as day trips into the Nassau area of the Bahamas.

But it’s evident that the real fans will fork over that cash for an up-close experience with DY. He’ll be on board the entire time and most likely mingling in the ship’s casino area, outdoor pools, and state-of-the-art sauna.

"I invite all of my fans to share this fun experience with me and all of the El Cartel Records family," Yankee recently stated. "We can assure you we will have a great time!"
