We had a feeling there was more chisme behind the breakup of actress Ana de la Reguera and Univision anchor Jorge Ramos. Several weeks ago, Ana confirmed that infidelities tore the longtime lovers apart, but kept quiet about the names and details. Now, Celestrellas is reporting that weather girl Jackie Guerrido (aka Mrs. Don Omar) may have played a major role in the split.

Keep in mind that none of this is confirmed and, for the record, Jackie and El Don are still technically married. But rumors have been flying for years that the two have hit the skids and that divorce is very much on the horizon.

Considering that Jackie happens to work at the same Univision studio as Jorge, there is no denying that the two come in contact on a daily basis. Both have admittedly been friends for years, but when confronted about a romantic connection, Guerrido’s rep was quick to respond, calling the matter “a laughable piece of gossip.”

Celestrellas seems to think something different. Mandy Fridmann, who works on the site, reportedly asked a person close to Ana whether Guerrido was “other woman.” The source wouldn't confirm it, but wasn't surprised by it either.

For now, we’re keeping tabs on de la Reguera’s Twitter page. She’s been loose-lipped about her feelings about the breakup in the last few weeks. If things get heated enough, perhaps she’ll drop a few @ symbols and begin naming names!

Is there any tween starlet who hasn’t been touched by the power of Justin Bieber? He’s already wooed A-list Disney girl Selena Gomez, and now it looks like Nickelodeon’s Victoria Justice is following suit.

No, there aren’t any romance rumors, but she did tweet some love about The Biebs' new movie, Never Say Never, along with a Twitpic of herself sporting shades from the 3D film, to nearly 400,000 followers:

“Had fun with @JustinBieber and the ladies of Victorious today."

Never Say Never, set for release February 11, follows the 16-year-old pop star on a whirlwind tour and will require those 3D glasses for all kinds of in-your-face concert footage, featuring appearances from UsherMiley Cyrus and Jaden Smith.

If you're wondering why Victoria's helping to promote it, look no further than the orange Nickelodeon sign that hangs above her Victorious TV show. Both Victorious and Never Say Never are produced by the same parent company, Viacom, so it makes sense for the stars to give shout outs to each other's projects.

Maybe she'll get him to return some of the love by guesting on that highly-anticipated debut album of hers.

"In order to be great, you have to dare to be ridiculous."

So said Ricky Martin during a special taping of Tr3s' Studio Tr3s: Ricky Martin in North Miami Beach Monday night.

Two hundred fans lined up around the block to get up close and personal with their favorite Latin pop singer and catch the first earful of his ninth studio album, Musica + Alma + Sexo (Music + Soul + Sex). The bilingual album, his first studio recording in six years, features guest appearances by British crooner Joss Stone, Spanish pop star Natalia Jiménez, Puerto Rican reggaeton duo Wisin y Yandel and Brazilian singer Claudia Leitte.

Martin debuted the album's first single, "The Best Thing About Me Is You" featuring Joss Stone, on The Oprah Winfrey Show in November. Since then, its Spanish-language counterpart, "Lo Mejor De Mi Vida Eres Tú" featuring Natalia Jiménez, already reached No. 1 on Billboard's Latin Pop Airplay chart and No. 11 on its Hot Latin Songs Chart.

"The song is about simplicity and being spiritual," Martin said.

After talking with Tr3s about his upcoming album, Martin rocked Comtel's Studio A with live performances of his new songs, including a beautiful rendition of "Lo Mejor De Mi Vida Eres Tú" with Jiménez and a fist-pumping performance of "Frio" with Wisin y Yandel.

Studio Tr3s: Ricky Martin will air on Tr3s Feb. 12. We'll post more performance photos and behind-the-scenes tidbits in coming weeks. Check Tr3s.com for updates!

It's time to start those annual Oscar pools, the 2011 Academy Award nominees are in. Academy Award-winning actress Mo'Nique and Academy president Tom Sherak revealed this year's finalists early this morning in Los Angeles, truly acknowledging the year's most critically acclaimed films and performances.

The King's Speech led with 12 nominations, including nods for best picture and director, while True Grit followed with 10 nominations and The Social Network with eight. The other best picture contenders (there are 10 in all) are Black Swan, The Fighter, 127 Hours, Winter's Bone, Inception, The Kids Are All Right and Toy Story 3.

As predicted, Golden Globe winner Colin Firth earned his second consecutive best actor nomination for overcoming a stutter in The King's Speech, while James Franco and Jesse Eisenberg each received their first for 127 Hours and The Social Network, respectively. Last year's winner, Jeff Bridges, earned his sixth nomination for True Grit, and Javier Bardem earned his third for Biutiful, which itself received a nod for best foreign film.

There were no major surprises in the best actress category either. Natalie Portman was recognized for her performance as a disturbed ballerina in Black SwanMichelle Williams for Blue Valentine, Annette Bening for The Kids Are All Right, Jennifer Lawrence for Winter's Bone and Nicole Kidman for Rabbit Hole.

The race for best supporting actors and actresses looks just as tight as for their leading counterparts. Christian Bale (The Fighter), Jeremy Renner (The Town), Geoffrey Rush (The King's Speech), Mark Ruffalo (The Kids Are All Right) and John Hawkes (Winter's Bone) will battle it out for best supporting actor. Interestingly, Andrew Garfield was not nominated for his praiseworthy role as Eduardo Saverin in The Social Network. Amy Adams (The Fighter), Helena Bonham Carter (The King's Speech), Melissa Leo (The Fighter), Jacki Weaver (Animal Kingdom) and Hailee Steinfeld (True Grit) will face off for best supporting actress.

Sorry Christina fans, Burlesque didn't make the cut, not even for best song.

Looks like we can expect more G.O.O.D. music from Kanye West in 2011. Yeezy revealed the release date for his joint LP with Jay-Z, Watch The Throne, on Twitter this week.

"WATCH THE THRONE COMING IN 2 MONTHS!!!!!!!!!!"

"MY NEW ALBUM COMING THIS SUMMER"

"THIS IS HIGH END RAP MUSIC," he tweeted, adding, "I just threw some bassoon on this mutha*****."

Ye tweeted the news while watching his beloved Chicago Bears lose to the Green Bay Packers in the NFC championship game Sunday, Jan. 23.

"IN THE STUDIO NOW WITH THE BEARS GAME ON"

In the meantime, the rapper will pacify fans with the video for "All of the Lights," the third single off his November release, My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy.

"ALL THE LIGHTS VIDEO IN 1 WEEK!!!!!!"

According to Jay-Z, the album is worth the wait. The Brooklyn rapper told MTV News that fans will definitely see Ye's growth as a producer on Throne.

"This is another level of that recording," Jay-Z said. "Because Kanye, I've seen him — really he's like a brother to me — I've seen him from the beginning to where he is now. And to see him as a producer and to see how he's growing as a producer and as an artist, for me, on another level, it's enjoyable. I'm watching the guy that I pretty much mentored become his own guy, with his own opinion. It's fantastic."

March can't come soon enough.

Mark Sanchez and the New York Jets may have lost the 2011 AFC championship to the Pittsburgh Steelers Sunday night, but that won't stop the Mexican-American quarterback from trying to win it next year.

“I don’t know how many Latinos or Mexican-Americans have won an AFC championship," Sanchez told Latina.com, "but I know I hope I’m the next one.”

Although Sanchez, 24, has reached the pivotal AFC game twice, Mexican-American quarterback Jim Plunkett was the first latino QB to lead his team, the Oakland Raiders, to victory in Super Bowls XV and XVIII. Don't worry, "The Sanchize" isn't letting the pressure get to him.

“It is an honor to represent the community and to be an inspiration for them really means a lot,” Sanchez told the magazine. “That’s something that doesn’t really add pressure. I think it adds to the fun and excitement of everything going on, so it’s fun for me.”

We'll be rooting for you next year, Mark. Maybe the third time's a charm.

Sure, Robert Rodriguez is an entertainment mogul now, but if it wasn't for Utah’s Sundance Film Festival, Machete’s mastermind may have never gotten his big break. The annual indie flick showcase is back in full swing this week and buzz is flying about a few other up-and-coming Latino directors with major moviemaking potential.

Launched more than 30 years ago by actor/director Robert Redford, Sundance gives budding filmmakers a forum to show off their work and find distributors to release their movies. The festival showcases everything from low-budget documentaries to stylistic shorts to foreign indie films, including these attention-grabbing films from Latin America:

All Your Dead Ones: Filmed in Colombia, Carlos Moreno’s All Your Dead Ones is not for the faint of heart. The story revolves around a farmer who wakes up to find a giant pile of dead bodies in his cornfield. No, this isn’t some twisted horror movie, but rather a moving and dramatic commentary on the increased violence caused by the country’s civil war.

The Cinema Hold Up: The ultimate nightmare for any filmgoer, Mexico’s The Cinema Hold Up follows four teens as they attempt to rob a local movie theater. Director Iria Gomez Concheiro portrays the pistol-waving kids as lost, drug-infested youths on a mission to add some excitement to their lives.

Elite Squad 2: Sundance isn’t a forum typically used to debut shoot-'em-up sequels, but this is a notable exception. Brazilian director Jose Padilha has already been to the fest three times, becoming a darling of critics and audiences alike. Elite Squad 2 indulges his wildest action fantasies with a special-forces military officer who wages war on Rio's toughest criminals.

Ticket to Paradise: Director Gerardo Chijona Valdes’ Ticket To Paradise tells the story of a young Cuban girl named Eunice who escapes a sexually abusive home life in 1993. Desperate to leave her small town, she hitchhikes to Havana with several other homeless teens. While there are some political undertones, the film is a true story about the bonds they formed on their journey.

Eighteen years into his singing career, pop crooner Cristian Castro is achieving his greatest professional success yet. Not only is his new Viva el Príncipe album wowing critics, it’s also the first to knock Shakira out of the No. 1 slot on the Latin Album Charts.

Recorded as a tribute to his idol, Latin music icon Jose Jose, Vive el Príncipe has already sold more than 100,000 units in Mexico. Jose Jose, famous for songs like “El Triste” and “Lo Dudo,” also appears on Vive, reciting a heartfelt poem on the album’s final track.

The songs “La Nave del Olvido” and “Volcan” (a cover of another Jose Jose classic) were released early via iTunes to help build buzz for the album, and Vive el Príncipe went on to topple Sale el Sol’s eight-week run atop the Latin Album Charts, something even Juanes’ new P.A.R.C.E. record couldn’t do.

We imagine this rejuvenated success is a time of joy and excitement for Cristian. He’s reaching millions of new fans, celebrating one of his all-time musical heroes and making enough cash to help cover all of those alimony payments.

Just because singer Christina Milian is sweet and friendly doesn’t mean her dog is. While many lady celebs go around town with their pups poking out of their purses, Milian learned to keep hers indoors after her pet pooch reportedly took “a huge chunk” out of her 81-year-old neighbor’s arm.

Perhaps the dog hadn’t been fed enough. Perhaps it felt hreatened. Or perhaps it mistook her neighbor, Leo Skolion, for cheating ex The-Dream. Whatever the reason, the attack led to an extended hospital visit and more than 18 stitches in Skolion’s arm.

The incident actually took place in 2008, but is coming to the surface now because Christina was ordered to pay Skolion $55,000 in damages to cover medical costs and "emotional distress."

Let’s just hope she's keeping the dog away from baby Violet. We’d much rather see Christina keeping company with a Pitbull of a different kind.
