Perez Hilton Hits The Online Dating Scene

Seeing how Perez Hilton has built his entire career in cyberspace, it’s only fitting that he would use the medium to find Mr. Right. The popular blogger, Tweeter, and social network guru recently announced that he was joining Match.com and OKCupid to spruce up his love life.

“I’m looking for something real.” Perez recently Tweeted.

Despite having millions of fans and close-knit ties to the celebrity community, Hilton has never seemed to find his perfect romantic match. So why not try to meet someone through one of the top dating sites? Match.com sports over 20 million singles and has hooked up countless love connections in the past 15 years. Similarly, OKCupid offers fun instant messaging and blogging features that are right up Perez’ alley.

The only problem is that the dating sites are having a hard time believing Hilton’s the real deal. In a funny Tweet exchange with the Match.com, Perez posted, “Yes, it’s really me. I joined. But please, STOP deleting my photos! It’s ME! Ha”

We’re imagining (once the sites verify it’s really him) Hilton won’t have much trouble getting attention in the virtual dating world. With die-hard Tweeters asking him out on a daily basis and his recent slimdown, Perez will be off the market in no time.
