David and Victoria Beckham spare no expense when it comes to posh Christmas gifts.

The Beckhams were spotted shopping for luxury gifts at Harrods department store in London last week, according to the Daily Star newspaper. Victoria picked out a $1,200 CrystalRoc iPad cover and David selected a pair of $2,300 customized gold-plated headphones. They also bought black CrystalRoc-studded Dr. Dre headphones for their sons Brooklyn, 11, Romeo, 8, and Cruz, 5.

“David and Victoria like to do things in style so these presents are perfect for them," a source told the Daily Star. "They already have everything money can buy so they wanted to indulge in something a bit different this Christmas.”

CrystalRoc owner Jonathan Bullas told the newspaper that celebrities have gone crazy over crystals this year.

“We've been going for five years and this has been our busiest Christmas yet," Bullas said. "We have a lot of interest from footballers. The Beckhams are typical of the kind of clients who go for our high-end stock.”

Outrageous, unpredictable and always hilarious, Sacha Baron Cohen’s movies have spoofed everything from religion (Borat) to homosexuality (Brüno) with biting wit. Now the comedic actor may do the same with a remake of the popular Spanish film series, Torrente.

The Torrente film series, created by comic Santiago Segura, follows the life of a sexist, racist, right-wing cop who patrols his Madrid neighborhood searching for troublemakers. The series features plenty of over-the-top characters — including a wheelchair-bound senior citizen and a sexy Latina neighbor — that are right up Cohen's alley.

Segura has already made his own mark on Hollywood with appearances in Hellboy and Blade II, both directed by admitted Torrente fan Guillermo del Toro. We don't know if del Toro will direct the remake — or if Sacha will in fact participate — but we do know that the script is being written by former Seinfeld writers Alec Berg, Jeff Schaffer and David Mandel, who are also writing The Dictator for Cohen.

For now, the British comedian is busy filming Martin Scorsese’s Hugo Cabret, but we'll keep our ears open for updates.

It’s news like this that really makes us question our social values.

Just a few weeks after LifeStyles Condoms sponsored Nicole "Snooki” Polizzi's 23rd birthday bash, Sizzle, a small New Jersey tanning salon, paid the Jersey Shore starlet $11,000 to spend two hours at its holiday party on Friday.

The stunt got plenty of coverage — TMZ published a flyer of Snooki promoting the event (which we’re sure were left on windshields all over New Jersey) and the little loudmouth hyped the party to her 963,000 Twitter followers:

“Gettin ready for sizzle tonight in Totowa, NJ! Come out and enjoy the night with me :)”

Snooks even posted an up-close and personal Twitpic from the event.

Don't worry, if you don't think she got paid enough for the appearance, the pickle-wielding reality TV star has plenty more holiday appearances lined up (including MTV’s New Year’s Eve bash), which undoubtedly will score her a lot more spending cash.

We think we’ve found the perfect gig for elusive Facebook co-founder Eduardo Saverin: Become a consultant for Quepasa.com.

The growing Latin social network has undergone many changes since entrepreneur Jeffrey Peterson founded the company in 1997. Just last month, it attracted more than 2.3 million new members. The tri-lingual site (its content can be displayed in English, Spanish or Portuguese) features online dating resources and other games and apps tailored to the Latin market, including profiles of Playboy Mexico's “Cyber Chicas.”

High-profile figures such as Gloria Estefan and former Costa Rican President Jose Maria Figueres have lent their names to the publicly traded West Palm Beach, Florida, company. Even the state’s controversial governor-elect, Rick Scott, owns a stake in it. Now, with advertising dollars from McDonalds, Disney and Verizon, the site seems primed for even more growth.

“The popularity of our unique positioning and differentiated branding among Latin-Americans is clearly evident in our growth rate," Quepasa.com CEO John Abbott recently said in a statement. "We surpassed our membership target of 25 million users in 2010 a month earlier than expected, which represents a major threshold in our development."

It all sounds very promising to this writer (especially the “Cyber Chicas” part). Maybe if it gets big enough, someone will make a movie about it.

At this point, you’ve got to feel a little sorry for Demi Lovato. Not only is the Disney starlet dealing with “emotional issues,” eating disorders and self-mutilation in rehab, but she’s also facing a lawsuit for allegedly punching one of her backup dancers and now negative backlash for scandalous photos circulating online. We imagine it will be pretty tough to get back to normal after this.

The Superficial published photos of Lovato flashing her cleavage while her backup dancers (including alleged assaultee Alex Welch) pose provocatively with her. One photo shows her posing alone in a lacy bra.

By now, we'd hoped that Disney's budding starlets would have learned from their predecessors' mistakes. First of all, if you're getting paid to maintain a “wholesome” image and want to keep your job, avoid the racy snapshots. More importantly, never let your friends take pictures or video of you doing anything you don't want the whole world to see. As Christina Aguilera and Miley Cyrus can attest, you never know who’s going to leak it to the highest bidder.

For now, we really hope Demi is on the mend. Staying out of the limelight is probably the best thing she can do.

Why do you think so many Disney stars taint their wholesome images with provocative behavior? Sound off below or @MTV3.

When you're the first boxer in history to win 10 world titles in eight different weight divisions, you can pretty much do whatever you please, even if it means scheduling your next fight without choosing an opponent. Manny Pacquiao, a world-class fighter and a congressman in the Philippines, scheduled his next fight for May 7 to avoid conflicts with his congressional schedule, but still hasn't selected his opponent.

“The situation is now that the date has been confirmed, it's May 7," Pacquiao's advisor Michael Koncz told the Associated Press on Friday. "More likely than not, the venue would be Las Vegas. But with regards to the actual opponent, all three of the guys named before are still live opponents.”

Those three guys are Shane Mosley, Andre Berto and Juan Manual Marquez. Marquez would be the best match for Pacman because he poses the biggest threat — the first of their two bouts ended in a draw and the second went to Pacquiao by one point. Scheduling the fight the weekend after Cinco de Mayo is just one more reason for the Mexican star to accept the deal. But Promoter Bob Arum told ESPN that probably isn't going to happen.

"The problem with Marquez is the number he wants is so damn high and he hasn't moved off it, and that's preventing the Marquez fight," Arum said. "We know what he got when he fought [Floyd] Mayweather and we feel that asking for double what he got for the Mayweather fight after he lost to Mayweather is a little bit much. Maybe he doesn't feel that way."

Although "Sugar" Shane Mosley is the most well-known of the potential challengers, his best days seem to be behind him after a lackluster loss to Floyd Mayweather in May and a draw against Sergio Mora in September. Andre Berto is the least-known of the trio, but asked for the least amount of money.

Whoever ends up in the ring May 7 better be prepared. If Pacquiao's defeat of Antonio Margarito is any indication, it's going to be a long night.

Who do you think Pacquiao should fight May 7? Tell us below or @MTV3.

Jessica Alba sure has been busy these days — starring in Machete, stirring up trouble in Little Fockers and now producing a new CBS sitcom that, according to Digital Spy, will be based on a real-life Twitter page.

Kelly Oxford’s sarcastic tweets about motherhood and the housewife life have attracted tens of thousands of followers, including Jessica, who is now trying to bring Oxford’s story to the small screen as a pilot for the 2011 fall season. The show, The Mother of All Something, would not feature Oxford or Alba in the cast, but there's always a chance Alba could make some producer cameos as Salma Hayek did in Ugly Betty.

This won't be the first Twitter-based series on the air. CBS, the same network behind Alba’s new show, is already airing a series called $h*! My Dad Says, based on another popular Twitter page. We suspect this is the beginning of another new trend, so if you aspire to have your own TV show, you might want to send your tweets to CBS.

What Twitter page do you think would make a good TV show? Tell us below or @MTV3.

What's your favorite holiday treat? A huge plate of stuffing? A pile of mashed potatoes doused in gravy?

For Modern Family’s Rico Rodriguez, there's nothing better than a toasty mug of hot chocolate. As it turns out, Rico, 12, is nothing like his latte-loving character Manny when it comes to edibles, at least not according to the list of favorite foods he revealed to CNN.

"Hot cocoa ... when it’s really cold," Rico said. "And for a dish, a nice honey-baked turkey is really nice to have."

He does, however, have something in common with his TV mom when it comes to his favorite year-round drink.

"My favorite drink: Milk," he said. "I would not be Rico without milk. I drink three cups, maybe four. I like the regular 2 percent milk, and every now and then, I get the Nestlé powdered chocolate milk for special occasions."

Modern Family co-star Sofia Vergara is one of the latest spokespeople to sport a milk mustache for the Got Milk? ad campaign. Perhaps the milk marketeers can enlist Rico for the next photo shoot — that is, if he isn't too busy dining at one of his favorite restaurants.

"I like two places," he said. "My first one would have to be Outback Steakhouse; I eat there with my dad every time he leaves — it’s our tradition. [Rico lives in Los Angeles and his father works in Texas.] And the second would have to be Olive Garden. Got to love the breadsticks!"

Apparently Rodriguez broke into song during the interview, performing a live rendition of “Let It Snow.” Rico was just as animated when we talked to him earlier this year, and we're glad to see he's got the holiday spirit.

Mariah Carey seems to be full of surprises these days. First she confirmed that she and hubby Nick Cannon are expecting, and now we’re getting word that she’ll be delivering twins. The 40-something pop diva also confessed that she had a difficult time conceiving, so we’re sure this news is twice as nice for the parents-to-be.

And who was the first person she shared the happy news with? According to Cannon, it was President Barack Obama.

"She shared with the President and the First Lady that we are having twins," Nick told New York’s 92.3 Now radio station. "I haven't even told my wife I was doing this, so I am probably going to get yelled at for not getting permission."

Who knew the Cannons and the Obamas were so close? Could Mariah be thinking of assigning godfather duties to the commander-in-chief? Probably not, but we imagine Mr. Prez would have a lot of wisdom to share with the little ones once they get older.

Unfortunately, Nick wasn’t ready to reveal the babies' genders just yet. Perhaps a cute boy and girl set like J. Lo’s Max and Emme? It doesn't really matter, as long as they're healthy, Nick said.

"[The latest ultrasound revealed] everything is A-OK, both babies are healthy, in tip-top shape," Cannon said. "The doctors are extremely happy. We are extremely happy."

We're happy to hear the good news! The babies should be entering the world sometime this spring.

Looks like Jennifer Lopez isn't letting her American Idol gig distract her from her own musical ambitions. Lopez, who will judge contestants on the next season of Idol, is back in the recording studio working on her seventh studio album, Love?, with Lady Gaga super-producer RedOne.

RedOne, who is responsible for such Gaga hits as "Just Dance" and "Bad Romance," told BlackBook magazine that he's already collaborated with J.Lo on eight tracks.

"Musically, I'm trying to combine all the elements that makes her who she is," RedOne said. "We connected, and it was easy to work together."

The album suffered a major delay in February after Lopez parted ways with her longtime record label, Sony Music's Epic Records. Since then, a number of tracks have circulated online, including the recently leaked track "Run the World," featuring Rick Ross, and a snippet of a song called "Good Hit."

"She's in another headspace," RedOne told BlackBook. "She's very positive and content. She knows what she wants to do."

In the meantime, Jennifer started her new Idol gig with fellow newbie judge Steven Tyler.

"We've put a bunch of people through — probably more than they have in the past," Lopez said during a recent break from auditions. "We are confident that we have, I would say, 15 to 20 real superstars, I think. Really, really good people. ... That's a big word to use, but definitely people with a lot of talent who could be recording artists for sure."
