Madame Tussauds Goes Gaga

OK, those people at Madame Tussauds have really gone above and beyond this time. The famed wax museum that brought us perfect Eva Longoria and George Lopez doppelgangers truly outdid themselves by creating not one, but eight different Lady Gaga replicas worth a whopping $2.4 million.

After all, with all of those memorable outfits and makeup jobs, how could anyone choose just one version of the mother monster? Wax sculptors replicated everything from her pink hairdos to her black bodysuits and platform boots, complete with a number of Gagalicious accessories. Sorry “meat dress” fans, that outfit didn’t make the cut.

Madame Tussauds unveiled the faux Gagitas Thursday at different museums worldwide — New York, Las Vegas, London, Amsterdam, Berlin, London, Hong Kong and Shanghai. Gossip guru Perez Hilton even showed up to unveil one $300,000 figure in Hollywood. Yes, there's a Telephone Gaga, but fans will have to fly to London to see that special Lady.

Now that we know waxworks are such a huge business, we'll be keeping our eyes peeled for the next big thing — a life-sized pickle-wielding Snooki, perhaps?
