It looks like Bengals receiver Chad Ochocinco’s love for the Latino culture has gone even further. Though it hasn’t “officially” been confirmed, web sites are buzzing that he is now engaged to Basketball Wives star Evelyn Lozada!

Image : Getty Images

In case you haven’t been keeping up, Ochocinco is obviously not Chad’s real last name. In fact, he’s a full-blooded African-American. But in a 2006 move that he said was to honor Hispanic Heritage Month, Chad Johnson branded himself with the Spanish translation of his jersey number.

And keeping with the Latin theme, he seems to have fallen hard for Lozada. Formerly engaged to NBA star Antoine Walker, she had a featured role on the reality show, Basketball Wives. Evelyn describes herself as a socialite, shoe designer, and constant Tweeter. In fact, it was her recent 10-karat Twitpic that sparked up all the rumors. As she said online,

"I'm no rabbit but 10 carats looks good on me!!" Let the hating begin??????? Let's go!!!!! *Wink*"

So even though neither one’s reps have “confirmed” the pending nuptials, Chad’s purchase of that monster rock pretty much says it all. We predict that they’ll have an exquisite wedding and, most likely, an Ochoseis and Ochosiete within the next few years.

We're all used to the plots of soap operas getting a little zany at times, but November 16 All My Children just gave their story an interesting twist: “Dr. Delicious”!

Image : Getty Images

Tackling the antagonistic role of the handsome but trouble-making Dr. Castillo – also pegged by Opal as “Dr. Delicious” – is Daytime Emmy Award winner Jordi Velasusa. (formerly Tony Santos of Guiding Light)

"We are excited to welcome Jordi Vilasuso to the All My Children family and look forward to introducing a new character on our canvas with Mexican heritage," AMC executive producer Julie Hanan Carruthers said in a statement. "With Jordi's talented portrayal, the entrance of Griffin Castillo to Pine Valley promises to be filled with joy, passion and mystery."

By passion we think she's referring to hatred and anger. Castillo admits that he came to Pine Valley to visit his mentor: the notorious Dr. David Hayward (strike 1) . While looking for David in the hospital, he runs into Amanda and flirts with her relentlessly even after she respectfully declines and points out that she's married. (strike 2) Castillo does however, save Opal's life by simply placing a bag of ice on her neck when Tad rushes her in and explains she's having chest pains (so realistic). But as Opal is taken away in a wheelchair Castillo has an orderly order some tests despite not being credentialed at the hospital (strike 3, yeah, hes going to be a problem). To add to the drama Amanda insists her husband Jake – also a doctor at the hospital – meet this mystery doctor and as soon as he sees Castillo, he immediately punches him in the face!

What's his connection to Jake? Could Castillo be the reason Jakes ex-wife left him? Did Castillo work with Jake in Africa with "Doctors Without Borders"? And to think, all of these questions and this was only in Castillo's first episode!

Vilasuso will have his work cut out for him as he's seemingly cast to replace Dr. Hayward – who may or may not have been murdered. It's no secret that the people of Pine Valley were glad to be rid of the cancerous Dr. Evil so if they jump to the conclusion that Castillo is a mini-Hayward, he better watch out! We can't wait to the Vilasuso ruffle feathers by bringing some cockiness to the small town and look damn good doing so!

If you recall, a while back we wrote about all the classic TV characters network executives were looking to bring back to your DVR. And now you can add one more to the list; anger management anti-hero, The Incredible Hulk! ABC has greenlit the green guy’s return and they’re bringing in top Latino director, Guillermo del Toro, to help.

Image : Getty Images

Seeing Guillermo’s attraction to monsters (remember Mimic?), he seems like a perfect fit for this Marvel “re-imagining.” In fact, a few years ago del Toro had actually pursued making his own Hulk feature film. He recently expressed his excitement about the idea to Deadline.com.

"I have always been attracted at the combination of comic book heroics and monsters, Jack Kirby's Demon or Kamandi or DC's Deadman or Marvel's Dr. Strange, Morbius, Metamorpho, Mike Mignola's Hellboy, etc. [For this], we coalesced a respectful but powerful way of retelling the Banner/Hulk story in a fresh way."

Also on board for the new Hulk project is David Eick, a former executive producer on the hugely successful Battlestar Galactica series. If you remember, Battlestar (just the like Hulk) had been a beloved 1970’s show. And with Eick’s help, the new version wound up receiving even more critical acclaim than the original! So just imagine what he (and Guillermo) could be capable of doing with Hulk!

Details about the plot and characters are still being kept under wraps. All that’s known for sure is that this Hulk will not be CGI’d up like they had done in the movies. Rather, the series will use a mix of prosthetics and puppetry to bring the green guy to life. The only other hints were dropped by Eick himself, when he said,

"I've enjoyed the challenging, rewarding process of revisiting beloved characters. [It is] a dream opportunity to join one of my all-time filmmaking heroes, Guillermo del Toro, in a faithful but unique retelling of the primal, emotionally-rich tale of one of my all-time comic book."

Faithful, but unique? We can’t wait to see what wild ideas they come up with.

According to reports, the new Hulk show should arrive on TV screens sometime in 2012.

It looks like Selena Gomez is one step closer to recording a full-fledged Spanish album. Her first Español single (a translated version of “A Year Without Rain”) hit the market last month and has been getting some very positive feedback. And on a recent Lopez Tonight appearance, she expressed some big bilingual plans.

Image : Getty Images

“Exactly what Shakira did was my dream. Because I feel like for my family it would make them very proud. It would be my dream to put out an entire album in Spanish.”

Just imagine the kind of a hot duet she could pull off with Shaki. And seeing how successful Selena’s current Year Without Rain album is (a Top 5 on the Billboard Charts), we could easily see her record company letting her do whatever she wants for a followup.

In case you haven’t noticed, going bilingual is becoming a very popular trend these days. David Archuleta expressed his desires to belt out some Español tunes and Nelly Furtado just grabbed a Latin Grammy for her first all-Spanish album, Mi Plan.

So when can we expect some new Selena Gomez musica? Well there’s still another season of Wizards Of Waverly Place on tap, that new Monte Carlo movie, and the whole 2010 Rain Tour. But as long as she keeps cranking through that Rosetta Stone software, we imagine it won’t be very long at all.

Last week MLB named its Golden Glove winners and this week announced Neftali Feliz and Buster Posey are Rookie of the Year Award recipients. Now, Feliz and Posey have more than just the World Series in common.

Image : Texas Rangers

The American League winner Neftali Feliz is the closing pitcher for the Texas Rangers. Feliz won by a landslide receiving 20 of 28 first place votes (runner-up Austin Jackson of the Detroit Tigers received the other 8).  Feliz can accredit his rocket right hand for the victory, setting a rookie record 40 saves during the season to help the Rangers reach it's first World Series. With all that accomplished, Feliz was still surprised that he won the award:

“I hope it’s not a fluke. I hope I have a better season next year,” the 22-year-old Dominican reliever said through a translator on a conference call.

The road to victory wasn't exactly a smooth one, Feliz admits that the adjustment from starting to relieving wasn't easy:

"All my career, I was a starter, but now I'm getting comfortable as a closer," Feliz said. "Of course at the beginning I didn't feel very comfortable ... but I learned the process thanks to (my teammates)."

But the 22-year-old pitcher humbled himself and trusted his coaching staff which resulted in a 2.73 ERA and 71 strikeouts in 69 1/3 innings for the season.

The National League recipient Buster Posey is the catcher for the San Francisco Giants. Posy was promoted from minors league to the majors May 29, 2010. Despite missing some of the season, the catcher was just as productive – if not more – than most of the rookies that had been playing since the season's beginning. The 23-year-old hit an astonishing .305 with 18 home runs and 67 RBI's. How did he do it? What's his secret, you ask?

"I was just trying to make an impact with the team and get some wins," Posey said.

“Some wins” is an understatement. Posey put together a 21-game hitting streak, received NL Player of the Month in July, his team went 52-32 after permanently placing him as catcher (he often played 1B) oh and did we mention that he played an intricate part in the Giants winning the World Series! That could be why he received 20 of 32 first place votes (Atlanta Braves Jayson Hayward was runner-up).

Congratulations to the rookies for their outstanding play and for bringing home top rookie honors!

Sarah Palin is ratings royalty! The former Governor of Alaska  and Vice-Presidential candidate made TLC history Sunday night (November 14) when her show Sarah Palin's Alaska drew nearly 5 million viewers to become the most watched series premiere ever on the cable network!

Image: Getty Images

The documentary series, which is a travelogue about her home state, faced NBC's Sunday Night Football, ABC's Desperate Housewives and CBS' Undercover Boss, and still managed to debut in households with a 3.5 rating.

However, not all of the 5 million who tuned in were fans though, and an Alaskan environmentalist recently accused Palin and her family of violating the states' wildlife guidelines by fishing too close to a group of bears. Oops!

The series is currently slated for an eight episode run, but we're sure Palin 'The Reality Star' is here to stay!

Hip Hop fans have been eagerly anticipating the release of Jay-Z's memoir "Decoded," which hit bookstands Tuesday (November 16). The book, which is equal parts memoir and lyrical deconstruction, was written several years ago and traces Hov's life from his childhood in Brooklyn's infamous Marcy Projects to his life as a teen drug dealer and later becoming a hip-hop mogul.

The emcee, who prides himself on privacy, promises to give fans a chance to "really understand" his story and the origin of his rhymes through this new venture. The first time writer who worked with The Source editor dream hampton on the project, mixes first-person memoir with detailed discussions of his most famous and provocative lyrics during the 336 page novel.

But is it a best seller? The first round of reviews are in, and they may surprise you!

According to Entertainment Weekly:

"Despite the career he has made out of rapping in the first person, Jay-Z is known for prizing privacy. His new book 'Decoded' may not erase that reputation — look elsewhere for gossip — but it is nonetheless Shawn Carter's most honest airing of the experiences he drew on to create the mythic figure of Jay-Z."

"The memoir's chief theme is Jay-Z's obsession with words. Annotated lyric sheets unpack allusions that even the most attentive listeners might have missed. He situates his work in the English canon, comparing his chosen form to the sonnet and crediting favorite authors ('Shout-out to Alfred, Lord Tennyson'). After reading 'Decoded,' you won't doubt for a second that he deserves the same level of respect as any of those great scribes."

Barnes & Noble respectfully commended Jay and his co-author for interspersing:

"Personal anecdotes, rhetorical broadsides and deep reflections with rich images and typography. From Andy Warhol's striking 'Rorschach' on the book's front cover to the interior art, which ranges from Michelangelo's 'Pietà' to a vintage Little Orphan Annie button, the book is a visual feast."

B&N continued:

"Though [Jay-Z] has released a staggering 11 albums in 14 years, the man behind the business still remains a mystery — often seen, but rarely heard. That is what makes 'Decoded' such an unexpected and welcome gift. At over 300 pages, it is a multimedia, multi-genre extravaganza: part memoir, part coffee table book, part annotated compendium of lyrics, part polemic in the defense of hip hop's poesy."

And Amazon weighed in with:

"Like its multi-hyphenate author, Jay-Z, 'Decoded' is many things at once. At its core, 'Decoded' is an eloquent and candid memoir detailing the story of a man who was born in a Brooklyn housing project, spent his teen years dealing drugs on the streets of Trenton, New Jersey, and grew up to be one of his generation's most successful artists and businessmen. But 'Decoded' is much more than a memoir: It is an intensely personal homage to hip-hop, as written by a man who so clearly adores the art form. It is a rare glimpse of the unexpectedly deep meanings behind the most recognizable rap lyrics of the last decade and it is a truly moving collection of essays on topics ranging from Hurricane Katrina to the decline of the music industry."

Sounds like a New York Times Best Seller!

It seems like for the past four months, everywhere you go you hear that catchy “Dynamite” song. On the radio, in the clubs, even on Kidz Bop records…And now Taio Cruz’ smash hit has made it all the way to The Today Show, with all four anchors chiming in for a viral a capella version.

Image: The Today Show

Matt Lauer, Meredith Vieira, Ann Curry, and Al Roker all broke out the harmonies for a very unique version of the song. With a little help from YouTube a capella sensation, Mike Tompkins, the gang was able to recreate every last “Dynamite” beat using nothing but vocals.

For those unfamiliar with Mike’s work, he’s attracted millions of viral video fans with his “voice-only” interpretations of songs like “Teenage Dream” and “Just The Way You Are.” He’s even covered Taio before and seems very well qualified to conduct the Today Show crew.

No, Meredith and the gang didn’t recreate the motorcycles and half-naked girls in the original video, but they did film themselves dancing and making faces for the screen. So far their version of “Dynamite” is actually a pretty big hit, gathering over 23,000 YouTube views. Will it catch up to the 48 million clicks Taio’s got for the original song? You never know…

Her personal life may be in turmoil, but looks like Christina Aguilera's professional life receives a gold star...literally! The pop diva, who launched her career nearly 20 years ago as part of The New Mickey Mouse Club, received the Hollywood Walk of Fame's 2,432rd star! ¡Felicidades!

With some 1,000 fans jamming on the Hollywood Boulevard sidewalk to watch, Aguilera gushed with delight Monday as the star was unveiled in front of the Hard Rock Cafe.

Christina, clad in a white halter dress and leopard Louboutin heels, told her fans:

"Oh my goodness! How amazing it is to see all of your fabulous faces. This is a huge staple in my life. Thank you all from the bottom of my heart."

In an interview with The Associated Press before Monday's unveiling, Aguilera called the honor "pretty surreal."

The 29-year-old singer was still a teenager when she won her first Grammy in 1999, for best new artist. She has collected three more in the years since.

And Xtina has even more to look forward to as she readies for the release of her debut movie "Burlesque," which hits theaters on Nov. 24.

Aguilera, who stars opposite Cher, plays a small-town girl raised in foster homes who chases her dreams to a Los Angeles burlesque club.

We couldn't be more happy for the former Mickey Mouser!

It has been confirmed that actress Eva Longoria Parker has filed for divorce from husband Tony Parker. According to sources, even though the actress is the one who filed, she is said to be devastated over her impending divorce from the basketball great.

Image: Getty Images

Citing "Irreconcilable differences" as the cause for the divorce, Longoria filed her papers this morning (November 17th) at the L.A. County Superior Court. Even though the couple signed a pre-nup before getting hitched back in 2007, it is rumored that the actress is seeking alimony from her soon to be former hubby.

Longoria-Parker Tweeted today:

"It is with great sadness that after 7 years together, Tony and I have decided to divorce. We love each other deeply and pray for each other’s happiness."

It seems like this was the one celebrity couple that no one thought would ever call it quits. Sources close to the couple are claiming that Parker cheated on his wife with a married woman. We at Team Blogamole can't help but wonder if Eva will follow up with what she started during the EMA and release a Parker-themed rap about the split.
