Things are definitely moving fast for Blogamole fave Prince Royce. In less than a year, he’s scored a #1 Billboard Tropical Album, gotten a Latin Grammy nomination, and launched an international tour. But now he’s about to hit the big time back home, with his first headlining show at the Lehman Center for the Performing Arts in NYC!

Getting into the bigger venues was a logical next step for Royce. He’d been working the U.S. club circuit all year, but overcrowding and a growing fan base forced his management team to rethink things. Top singles (like “Stand By Me”) and increased ticket demands meant it was time to crossover to headliner status.
So why not start with a massive venue in his hometown? New York’s Lehman Center holds over 2300 seats and has housed hundreds of top music artists. Not only that, it’s centered in the Bronx and is very close to where Royce grew up. And that means there will be plenty of extended fam showing up for support.
As Royce told the New York Daily News, "We had to choose my hometown. It's my first big production outside of the club scene; taking it to the next level ."
Yea we may all know him as Prince, but once the curtain drops we’re sure he’ll be getting plenty of hugs and high fives from locals who still remember little Geoffrey Rojas.
Prince Royce will be headlining the Lehman Center for the Performing Arts November 12-13!
