How fun would it be to work in the research department at Party City? You know, that megastore that specializes in balloons, banners, and New Year’s poppers? Well somebody on their crack data team just released a list of this year’s most in-demand Halloween costumes and a few Tr3s faves made the cut!
Topping this year’s Halloween “must-list?” Snooki from “Jersey Shore!” Yup, everyone’s favorite fist-pumper is flying off the costume racks. We think this one could just as easily be done at home. Pick up some orange makeup paint, a dark wig, revealing jean shorts, and a pair of flip flops and you’re set!
Also in demand is Ms. Zoe Saldana. Ok, maybe not Zoe herself, but Zoe the Na’vi from James Cameron’s 'Avatar.' This one will probably be a little trickier to pull off than Snooki (have plenty of blue spray paint handy), but we're thinking you'll get tons of attention on the trick-or-treat route.
Lady Gaga is right up there too. But we didn’t need any study to tell us that. Just look at all of her outrageous outfits! The question is, which one would be the best for Halloween? The meat dress she wore at the VMAs or that Kermit the Frog getup from a few years back?
Don’t worry fellas, we didn’t forget about you. We’ve got two Johnny Depp options to work with. First there’s always the tried and true Jack Sparrow, but a new Party City fave happens to be his Mad Hatter from Tim Burton’s “Alice In Wonderland.” Take your pick and enjoy!
And last but not least, we've got something for all of you budget Halloween shoppers out there. Times are definitely tough and the dollar store can work just as well for finding good costumes. They’ve got paints, funny glasses, and even pumpkins for less than a buck, so get creative and enjoy!
Who are you planning to dress up as this Halloween? Sound off in the comments or @MTV3!
