Thanks to her roles on numerous TV series and appearances in ads for Pantene, Pepsi-Cola and Gatorade, men all over this world have fantasized about Gaby Espino at one time or another. Ms. Espino apparently knows this and is offering the next best thing: Gaby Espino's 2011 Calendario Interactivo!

The calendar is the work of the very talented photographer Omar Cruz (shot People en Espanol's “50 Most Beautiful”) so you can bet the shots are beyond alluring. It's befitting that the calendar was shot in the city of Miami, because the provocative poses will show the Venezuelan beauty in numerous wet, therefore transparent, outfits. Yes, Christmas will be full of cheer this year.

Espino even dedicated a full twitter page that gives updated information about the calendar. Espino, on her personal twitter page, tweeted her excitement about the end product

Maybe it’s just the season, but it seems like tons of Halloween stories are floating through Hollywood these days. One, in particular, that we’re extra excited about is the prospect of a full-length feature film built around the Michael Jackson song, “Thriller.”

No it won’t be two hours of Filipino prisoners prancing around. Deadline.com is reporting that frequent MJ collaborator Kenny Ortega plans to create a story around the ghouls and goblins featured in the original video. And he’s getting the guy who wrote The Hangover to help!

Budgeted at around $50 million, the Thriller Movie is still in the VERY early planning stages. All that has been revealed so far is that the Jackson estate is fully on board and so is the original writer of the song. They’re also talking about expanding the track’s “rap sequence” by horror legend Vincent Price.

For all of us who watched This Is It (also directed by Ortega), the rough 3D Thriller sequence they were planning for Michael’s concerts looked incredible. Our hope is that they flesh those ideas out a little more and maybe include a chainsaw-wielding Gloria Estefan just for fun.

It looks like Penelope Cruz isn’t the only one with a talented sibling. Modern Family’s Sofia Vergara has a little sister breaking into the acting biz too. And it looks like Sandra Vergara’s well on her way to a hot movie career, with a role in the highly-anticipated Fright Night remake.

Old school horror buffs know all about the original Fright Night. Set in a suburban town, it revolved around a normal teen who discovers his neighbor is a blood-sucking vampire! Filled with action, scary monster makeup, and a nice dose of comedy, it’s become a major cult classic.

The update is supposed to follow the old story very closely, with Star Trek’s Anton Yelchin playing the teen battling the forces of evil. Sandra is supposedly getting cast as a “magician's assistant.” Could she actually be a creature of the night herself? We’ll have to wait until next Halloween to find out.

Though she’s had bit parts in shows like Nip/Tuck, this is the first major role for the younger Vergara. It’s obvious she bears a striking resemblance to her older sis, which makes us wonder…Could her and Sofia’s real-life son Manolo be due for a Modern Family guest shot as the cousins of Rico Rodriguez? It wouldn’t surprise us.

Mark your calendars. Tomorrow the polls will officially be open, giving you the power to influence the laws and elected officials in your region. And despite some negative ads floating around, it is extremely important that you make your voice heard. Ozomatli’s definitely doing their part to hammer the message home, by partnering with the National Council of La Raza (NCLR) and issuing a new politically-charged single called “Respeto.”

Speaking exclusively with Blogamole, Ozo guitarist Raul Pacheco explained his thoughts about election day and why getting to the polls is so important,

“The more you are involved, the more you do have an impact. Whether it’s by voting or whether it’s by shaping laws. You can contact your representative, you can get to know them on a first-name basis…We really want to inform people to get involved and show up at the polls!”

Fans of Ozomatli know they’ve been a very socially-conscious band from the start. Formed 15 years ago in Los Angeles (yes, they are celebrating their Quinces this year), Ozo’s rock/funk/jazz/hip-hop fusions have built them a worldwide following. But listen to their lyrics and you’ll find some very topical messages sprinkled into the mix.

For “Respeto”, a bilingual single available as a free download on their site, the guys mix bouncy drum beats, singalong vocals, and funky bass grooves with a very clear chorus; “Stand Up!” As in, stand up and be counted. Not coincidentally, the title of the song goes right in line with NCLR’s “Vote For Respect” campaign.

As Raul noted,

“We’ve done work with [the NCLR] for many years now. It’s a very good collaboration.” When describing the track, he said, “We did it to create momentum and to create a message. It’s about respecting yourself by participating.”

Obviously the message is getting heard loud and clear. President Obama joined them for a political rally at USC in California last week (which made for an awesome pic on their site) and, according to Raul, fan feedback has been incredible.

Let’s hope it translates into some overcrowded voting booths this coming Tuesday.

It looks like Madonna is becoming quite the businesswoman these days. Just this past summer, she launched her Material Girl clothing line (with a little help from daughter Lourdes) and now she’s opening a “Hard Candy” fitness club in the heart of Mexico City.

It’s obvious that Madonna is still hugely popular in Latin America (her last Sticky & Sweet tour sold out massive stadiums in Brazil, Chile, and Argentina) and plastering her name on a chain in the most populated city in Mexico is guaranteed to attract fans no matter what it is.

In this case, “Hard Candy” (named after her last album) is a 30,000 square foot gym featuring state-of-the-art cardio equipment, a yoga studio, juice bars, and lavish saunas. As one of her partners in the venture explained,

"Hard Candy Fitness will be a reflection of Madonna's point of view and will reflect her input on every detail including music space, light and other design cues. Madonna's touch will be everywhere. [She’s] worked out in literally hundreds of gyms around the world... she has a strong vision on what the ideal exercise, dancing and work out environment should be."

We’ll definitely have to agree with that! At 52-years-old, the Material Girl is still in amazing shape and certainly seems to know her way around an elliptical machine. But of course the question remains, will “Hard Candy” make its way to America? If this one’s a hit, we can easily see it popping up at a mini mall near you.

She’s done R&B, soul, dance, and even bits of hip-hop, but Janet Jackson still hasn’t dabbled in Spanish-language music. That is, until now. At a recent press for her new Tyler Perry movie, Damita Jo hinted that her next album may include heavy doses of Brazilian music.

Looking back on Janet’s career, it’s clear that she’s had plenty of Latin influences. Her “secret” first husband Rene Elizondo was born in Mexico and helped write many of her famous hits (including “Together Again” from The Velvet Rope). But never before has she fully embraced a tropical sound.

As Janet put it, Brazilian music is a “great love of hers.” Hearing that obviously sparks a ton of curiosity as to which types of South American jams she would want to use. Perhaps the whistles and flutes of their traditional folk music? The Maracatu sounds played throughout Carnivale? Or some good old fashioned Bossa Nova Antonio Carlos Jobim popularized by ?

Whatever she’s cooking up, Janet’s got a great track record when it comes to putting out hot music. Since 1986, nearly all of her albums have topped the charts and don’t get us started on total records sold (40 million worldwide!). We, for one, would love to see her expand her style and bring more popularity to the brilliant sounds coming out of Brazil.

“The Decision” was made, NBA preseason has come to a close and tonight the battle of the “Big 3's” will occur tonight in the season opener on TNT. Miami Heat's Dwayne Wade, Chris Bosh and LeBron James will battle it out against the Eastern Conference Champion Boston Celtics' Kevin Garnett, Ray Allen and Paul Pierce.

Tonight's game may possibly be one of the most anticipated season openers in NBA history. So much has happened during the off-season leading up to tonight. After seven seasons with the Cleveland Cavaliers, LeBron is making his Miami Heat debut; Dwayne Wade gets to discredit the nay-sayers and prove that he, “king” James and Bosh can co-exist; Shaquille O'neal – once teammates of LeBron and Wade – makes his Celtics debut; Pierce, Allen and Garnett will have the opportunity to prove that they are the “Big 3” of the East; and lastly, LeBron and Wade will be looking to avenge their NBA Playoff eliminations handed to them by the Boston Celtics last season.

With all these factors leading up to the season opener, we're expecting Boston's TD Garden to be out of control for tonight's home opener and Paul Pierce knows it:

"You've definitely got to expect a playoff atmosphere," Pierce said. "I mean, there's a lot of buzz around this game and how these teams have been put together. You've got two of the projected top teams in the East. You've got to expect a playoff atmosphere, and we're approaching it like that."

Yes! That's the type of game we want to see! Who cares if its only the first game of the season, we want to see an all-out-brawl like their playing the final game of an elimination series.

Chris Bosh is not an avid tweeter but he took the time to post this on his twitter account today:

“The wait is finally over. Opening night is finally here and I'm more than ready!"

King James on the other hand not only re-tweeted Bosh's post but yesterday, his new Nike commercial entitle “Rise” premiered. In the “Rise” ad, James constantly asks “What should I do?” in an attempt to confront critics that blasted his decision to join the Miami Heat. He takes a shot at Charles Barkley, – who has publicly expressed his distaste for LeBron's “decision” – shows his “Chosen 1” tattoo getting removed, stands in front of an empty room to accept his Hall-of-Fame induction and is portrayed as a villain complete with Wild West attire. With the commercial, James addresses his post-season controversy head on and we can't wait to see how he responds to the critics tonight on the hardwood. It's going to be a game to remember!

It’s official! Katy Perry can’t kiss any more girls…or at least she shouldn’t, because now she’s a married woman! This past weekend, the much-talked-about wedding between her and comedian Russell Brand took place in India and (as expected) it was completely over the top.

Jugglers, giant elephants, full-blown Bollywood bands, the happy couple literally spared no expense when it came to treating their guests to a lavish time. Though it was said that the invitee list was rather small (which makes sense since tickets to India are NOT cheap) and unfortunately Perry’s bachelorette BFF, Rihanna, was a no show.

But that didn’t stop any of the excitement. Katy reportedly donned a gorgeous Elie Saab dress while Russell sported an ornamented suit and henna tattoos on his hands. The service was performed by a Christian minister (and Perry family friend) and it was said that both the bride and groom performed songs during the reception.

So what about honeymoon plans? It looks like the happy couple are well on their way. Yahoo reports that “the Brands” are now at an exclusive resort in Maldives. Known for its gorgeous island scenery and lush marine life, it seems like the perfect destination to escape, enjoy wedded bliss, and come up with hot new love songs.

Well, it looks like our summer predictions were a little bit off. Though we suspected that Matt Damon and his pregnant wife Luciana could be expecting a Matteo Jr. in the fall, what they got was baby girl #4, who they named Stella Zavala.

Not that she can’t grow up to be an action star like her daddy. We’d love to see Stella kick off a “Bournita” spy-thriller franchise sometime in the year 2035! But that’s not what Matt is hoping for. As he told Parade magazine recently,

"If I had a bucket list, I'd say raising my four girls to be strong, good women would be No. 1."

Very nicely put. And it looks like Alexa, Gia, Isabella, (and now Stella) have a great role model in their madre Luciana. Born in Argentina 34-years-ago, she worked her way up from being a single-mom bartender to one of the most glamorous celebrity wives in Hollywood.

And Luciana's very busy as well! It’s obvious that Matt has got a lot on his plate. He’s making regular 30 Rock appearances, a new movie virtually every month (right now it’s Hereafter), and ongoing charity work. So who’s left to watch after all those little girls? Luciana…and she seems to be doing a great job!

Wow, it looks like that crazy fan who charged A-Rod on the field last week may have been after the wrong guy! There’s no doubt that Cameron Diaz gets tons of admirers, but gossip sites are reporting that her eyes may now be fixated on Matthew Morrison from the series, Glee.

Over the weekend, photographers snapped a major money shot when they caught Cam and “Mr. Schu” carpooling together after a night out in Hollywood. Interestingly, another Blogamole fave, Joanna Garcia, was tagging along with them as well.

According to an E! Online source, the duo arrived separately to a 2-year anniversary party for the trendy L.A. nightspot, Bardot, but left together. As one source explained,

"Diaz and Garcia seemed tight and had a great time. Matthew and Cameron had some one-on-one time in the lounge, but nothing seemed too intimate. Matthew seemed to be a huge gentleman and genuinely cared for both ladies the entire night."

So of course, publicists immediately issued the “just friend” status to describe the relationship. But, who knows? If they weren’t acting that cozy, maybe that’s the case after all. Joanna is reportedly engaged to NY Yankee, Nick Swisher, which makes us think she may still be on team A-Rod after all.
