Don’t worry, none of the celebs we’re about to mention love the Devil, rather they were bringing out the love for the new movie “Devil”, which had its big premiere Wednesday night (September 15). Producer M. Night Shyamalan, Jacob Vargas, and "Machete" himself, Danny Trejo, were all in attendance.

Just in time for the Halloween season, “Devil” focuses on five strangers trapped in a high-rise elevator. And with story credit going to Shyamalan, you know it’s going to get a lot creepier than that! In fact, one of them happens to be the Devil himself, but it’ll take a lot of twists and turns to find out who.

To celebrate the film’s release, stars gathered at the rooftop of L.A.’s swanky London Hotel for a premiere screening under the stars. And even though it required an elevator ride to get there, we can happily report that no one had issues with any demons on the trip up.

Danny Trejo seemed very excited about the night and was still beaming on the success of “Machete” (which happened to be in the Top 5 this week). No he wasn’t sporting any long blades on the red carpet, but did make a few jokes about it.

Jacob Vargas, who plays Security Guard Ramirez, said he was very proud of what directors John and Drew Dowdle put together and told us he “felt honored to work with Night.” Speaking of M. Night, he spoke with Team Blogamole too, explaining his thoughts on “Devil.”

“I loved it! I’m so proud of it. It’s definitely scary, but it’s also a lot fun. It’s meant to be fun! I can’t wait to watch everybody scream and laugh at this.”

We can’t wait either. And, as with all Shyamalan projects, we’re sure we’ll be guessing about El Diablo’s identity until the very last frame.

“Devil” hits theatres this Friday (September 17).

Fall is here and it seems like high fashion is back on everyone’s mind. And with all of the clothing ensembles featured at last week’s Fashion's Night Out, now seemed like the perfect time for People to declare its annual Best Dressed List. This year’s cut featured two of our favorite Latinas, Jessica Alba and Zoe Saldana!

Jessica got the distinction of being The Mix Master. Known for her ability to floss chic evening wear and fun glittery ensembles (like what she wore at the "Machete" premiere) equally well, Alba can pretty much rock anything with confidence.

Zoe, on the other hand, was awarded the title of Red Carpet Queen. And seeing how she’s been in five major movies in the past year, she’s become quite a regular on the premiere circuit. Flashing off dazzling ruffled dresses and Roland Mouret gowns, Zoe can easily launch a second career as a runway model. And did you SEE those Calvin Klein ads she did?!

Other celebs topping the list included Jennifer Aniston (The American Classic), “Glee’s” Lea Michele (The It Girl), and Rihanna (The Daring Diva). No arguments here!

We've been celebrating Mexico's Bicentennial with a video of congratulations from Jessica Alba, Wilmer Valderrama and more, but now that the day has come and gone, more celebs have been sending their "Viva Mexico!" shout-outs via twitter.

We always expect to get a laugh from funnyman George Lopez and he didn't disappoint:

"Feliz Mexican Independence Day ! .Remember " Drink Responsibly ". TILL it gets dark .. Then get A F U. ! #vivamexico"

La bella Anahí took a more heartfelt approach bringing music to our ears as her Mexican pride was evident:

"Ser mexicano es llevar en la sangre la determinacion, la fe, la alegria, la fiesta, la imaginacion. Ser Mexicano va mas alla de haber nacido en este pais...Es un compromiso,un contrato de honor, orgullo y fortaleza. Te amo Mexico!"

Thalía took it up a notch and decided to celebrate with a link to her 1997 throwback video "Amor a la Mexicana."

"A celebrar nuestra gran fiesta, a la mexicana! Thalia - Amor a la mexicana (music video) youtube.com/watch?v=SSPXcq… via @youtube"

And last but certainly not least, Alejandro Fernandez was also pumped up as he celebrated the bicentennial while performing a concert at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.

"Listo p el grito!! Sera un gran concierto, hay k celebrar k somos mexicanos!! Viva Mexico!!"

To begin the show, Fernandez was intoxicating donned in an all black suit, but what was really off-the-charts-smoking-hot was the twitvid he posted of himself dressed in full charro regalia as he shouted “Viva Mexico!".

"http://twitvid.com/70DMG - Celebrando el bicentenario, Alejandro da el grito. AF Staff."

Aqui en Blogamole le queremos desear un muy Feliz Bicentenario a nuestros hermanos Mexicanos! Felicidades Mexico!!

Team Blogamole has been on top of the drama surrounding Francisco Rodriguez's personal and professional life, and we must say, its been like a roller-coaster experience.

Photo via Getty Images

The latest dip occurred on Tuesday (September 14) during a hearing in Queens Criminal Court where Rodriguez is facing third-degree and harassment charges for an incident last month, involving his former girlfriend Daian Peña and her 53-year-old father. Prosecutors tried to have the Mets closer jailed for violating a restraining order sending 56 text messages to Pena. Rodriguez was apparently attempting to make peace with the mother of his 1-year-old twins by professing his love in the messages.

“I understand perhaps I made a mistake, the biggest mistake of my life. But I love you,”

Rodriguez's attorney claim that K-Rod was under the assumption that as long as the texts were non-threatening and was in an effort to resolve the situation, they were legal. We aren't lawyers here but “Exhibit A” proves otherwise:

“I know this message will get me in trouble, but I already lost you, my house and my children,” he wrote, according to assistant district attorney Scott Kessler. "I do not want to have problems with your family, all I want … is to recover you and my children and continue forward."

Luckily for K-Rod, Robert Raciti, the presiding judge, leaned towards leniency deciding not to throw him in the slammer. Hopefully the right-hander learned his lesson because if he attempts any more contact with Peña before his next hearing scheduled for October 7, he'll be jailed.

Since the altercation, Rodriguez has been on the Mets' disqualified list, where he'll remain for the rest of the season. He is set to lose $3.1 million of his $11 million salary this year. Lesson learned.

Do you think K-Rod should have been sent to jail for violating the restraining order?  Tell us in the comments, or @MTV3!

As we’ve mentioned before, Halloween is fast approaching which means tricks, treats and tons of scary movies hitting theatres. And one of this fall’s most anticipated horror flicks has got to be “Devil.” What’s it all about? We’ve got its main Latino lead, Jacob Vargas to give us the lowdown!

Having worked on such critically-acclaimed films as "Traffic", "Jarhead", and "Selena" (where he was cast at A.B. Quintanilla), Jacob’s got a great track record for picking projects that we love! And now being involved with supernatural movie god, M. Night Shyamalan, in "Devil", you know he’s on to something good.

Speaking exclusively with Team Blogamole, Jacob revealed that "Devil" is the first in a movie trilogy series called the Night Chronicles. "I play Ramirez, who is one of the security guards in this office building," he said, "One of the elevators gets stuck and things start getting stranger and stranger."

Anyone who’s seen the much talked about trailer has an idea of where things go from there. Could someone in the elevator actually be El Diablo himself?! Jacob says his character is "a man of faith", which we can expect to get tested at some point in the film.

And how about the rest of those Chronicles? Jacob admitted that he was a huge Shyamalan fan, but since M. Night was only a producer on this one, most of the "Devil" credit goes to directors, John and Drew Dowdle. "[Night] was more of an observer on it," Jacob said. He revealed that part two of the series would be a version of “12 angry men with a supernatural setting" and part three may very well be "the sequel to 'Unbreakable'!" How cool is that?!

It’s unclear whether Jacob will be involved with the rest of the Night Chronicles, but he’s got plenty on his plate otherwise. “I’m developing a TV show with Cheech Marin. It’s a father/son thing and it’s going to be awesome! I’ve also got a website called TheTVFantastic.com. It’s kind of like my own Funny Or Die thing.”

And yes, Jacob was just as glued to last weekend’s VMA’s as we were. “I thought Usher totally killed it!” No argument here.

Check out more of Jacob Vargas at his personal site and don’t miss “Devil”, when it hits theaters Friday, September 17th!

Para este 16 de Septiembre, nos vestimos de verde, blanco, y rojo, y nos unimos al Grito de México lindo y querido en celebración de su bicentenario! And we're not the only ones sending the love to the 200 year cumpleañero, some familiar faces joined us to send congrats to México too! Check out this clip of K-Paz de la Sierra, Jessica Alba, Horoscopos de Durango, Wilmer Valderrama, y Diana Reyes sending their felicitaciones.

You're right Wilmer, 200 years is a lot of tequila! We know there are some who think Cinco de Mayo is México's birthday, but really that's just the date of la Batalla de Puebla (not to mention a great excuse para los norteamericanos to kick back some adult beverages). The real break from the rule of Spain happened on September 16, 1810.

Aunque los Latinos de todos los países estemos celebrando el Mes de la Herencia Hispana, we encourage all to be a bit Mexican on this special day and shout out un grito bien fuerte! ¡Órale, que viva México!

How will you celebrate México's big 2-0-0? Let us know in the comments or shout your Grito @MTV3!

The Latin Grammys are only a few months away and yesterday (September 14) the Latin Recording Academy announced that this year's recipient for the Person of the Year Award is Plácido Domingo.

photo via Getty Images

Domingo will be honored at a special tribute dinner which will be held Wednesday, November 10 – the eve of the Latin Grammys – at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center in Los Angeles. If you're assuming the event is going to be a stiff suit-and-tie function, you're mistaken. Mandalay Bay will be rocking as Domingo's friends will also perform a concert of his pop duets as well as some of his favorite music.

All of the proceeds from the gala will benefit one of Domingo's chosen charities as well as The Latin Recording Academy's outreach and educational programs. This act of generosity is fitted accordingly as Domingo was selected for his professional as well as his philanthropic achievements.

Gabriel Abaroa, President/CEO of The Latin Recording Academy, had this to say about the event:

"The Latin Recording Academy and its Board of Trustees take great pride in honoring Plácido Domingo as an extraordinary musician, philanthropist and, above all, a great human being whose immense talent and generosity has had a profound global impact. We are privileged to pay tribute to one of the most respected musical voices of our time, as well as a man whose selflessness has benefited many around the world."

Domingo founded Operalia, a World Opera Competition designed to discover, support and honor the best new young opera singers. Who better to give artistic and career advice than the “king of opera” himself.  Domingo has been conducting opera for nearly 40 years, has covered opera in six different languages, and is currently the General Director of the Washington National Opera and the Los Angeles Opera as well as the Artistic Advisor for the Youth Orchestra of the Americas.

Domingo has certainly served his dues and is undoubtedly befitting of the Person of the Year award.  Past  recipients of the honor include Gloria Estefan, Ricky Martin, Julio Iglesias, and Carlos Santana.

Do you think Plácido Domingo has earned the award? Who else would you be name Person of the Year? Tell us in the comments or @MTV3!

We gave you the scoop last month about how La Chica Dorada is expecting a baby boy, to be named Nicolás after his father-to-be Nicolás Vallejo-Nájera. Pués ahora parece that she changed her mind and is looking for new baby names!

photo via Getty Images

Anoche (September 14), la pop rockera mexicana Paulina Rubio posted on her Twitter page asking followers, "Va a ser NIÑO! Alguna idea d nombres?" One of the first to Tweet back a response was Luis Fonsi, who suggested "Fonsito..." We have a feeling that one's not gonna fly, but nice of you to offer Luis!

We like "Nicolás," but since you asked, here are some other options for you Pau-Pau. What do you think of "Pablo"? Or how about "Enrique," como tu papá? O tal vez "Michael," to resemble the name of your great grandma Micaela?

Estaremos pendientes to reveal the name she chooses cuando nazca el bebé. In the meantime, throw in your own suggestions and help her out!

What do you think Paulina should name her baby boy? Shout your picks in the comments or @MTV3!

Para los que no los conocen, and those of you craving some refreshingly different and very danceable música, let us introduce you to the hip hop/reggae/rock/afro-Colombian quintet, Profetas. Estamos anciosos to hear some new music from these guys, since we're still awaiting the promised album to accompany their hot single "Baila," which was released last year.

Their 2006 release Amor y Fortaleza, earned them much deserved respect in the world of Afro-Latin music, being hailed by Rolling Stone as "the new blood that runs through the sonorous veins of a Colombian hip hop scenario, thirsty for identity, novelty, and urban reality." With influences ranging from Buju Banton to La Fania Allstars, their music transcends genres and creates a universal rhythm que nos intriga a todos a bailar.

Profetas, with their full band performances, have continued to set a buzz around the world, touring in Latin America with Method Man and Redman, and even taking their music on tour around Europe. Lo único que les falta is to release their new Baila album and conquer the world! But seriously, we can't wait for more Profetas music, check them out and you'll definitely see why!

Already a fan of Profetas? Let us know your thoughts in the comments or @MTV3!

What an incredible season it’s been for “Quiero Mis Quinces!” We’ve had fashion fiestas, prize fighter parties, army boot birthday dresses and tons more! And how about that surprise guest list?! Christopher Uckermann, Pitbull, and Roberto Marroquin, just to name a few. But we’ve saved one of the wildest Quinceañeras for the grand finale. That’s right, we’re talking about Erika’s “Magical Nightmare!”

For those that missed out on our sneak preview, let us get you up to speed. Houston girl Erika’s got pink hair, tons of friends, and a love of all things “magical”, including zombies that rise from the dead! Well we are getting close to Halloween, right? So she’s setting the stage with a massive “Quinces” full of monster makeup, coffins, and break-dancing clowns!

Oh yea, this is not your typical quinceañera and that’s exactly why we love it! Erika’s decided to throw her ghoulish bash on the exact same Saturday as her high school’s prom. Will it detract from her RSVP list? Not a chance. The way she’s planning her big night, it’s set to be the hottest ticket in town.

To help prep, Erika’s picking up an amazing black dress, renting a midnight-colored coffin, and taking glamour shots at a real cemetery! She’s also rounded up one of the hottest DJs in town (who can spin Spanish music for grandma) and a makeup artist that can add that perfect “undead” touch.

When the big night finally arrives, everything comes together perfectly. There’s the dance with dad, a surprise performance by an entire clown crew, and a very special serenade from one of our favorite RBD singers...

To see it all, you’ll have to watch the clips!

So even though another exciting season of “Quiero Mis Quinces” has come and gone, you can still relive it with full episodes on Tr3s.com! And what kind of Quinceanera themes are we cooking up for season 6? You’ll have to stay glued to Tr3s.com and Blogamole to find out!

What was your favorite episode of “Quiero Mis Quinces” season 5? Sound off in the comments or @MTV3!
