'Juegos Prohibidos' 101: The Best From The First 10 Episodes

Wow, what a journey it’s been. In the first 10 episodes of "Juegos Prohibidos," Nacho and Jimena went from online strangers to passionate lovers. Team Blogamole has been documenting the addictive Colombian soap every step of the way and before we move forward, we thought it would be fun to do quick recap of the characters (and drama) we’ve all come to love.

Nacho – The hero and main romantic lead. How could you not like this guy? He’s computer-savvy, always looking out for his sick sister, and romantic salvation for Jimena and her difficult home life. The only criticism we’d have for Ignacio is his relationship with Luisa. She is pure trouble and could lead to major trouble for him and his new relationship.

Jimena – Sweet, attractive, and extremely likeable, you’ve got to be someone pretty special for the audience to cheer you on when you cheat on your husband! But Jimena instantly captured our hearts and, in all honesty, she did give her hubby Gustavo plenty of chances. But between his affairs, abuse, and bullying attitude, we’re happy to see her find a (much younger) guy who treats her so well.

Gustavo – Every novela’s got a villain and we’ve got to give the “Juegos” casting office major kudos here. Marcelo Dos Santos plays the bad guy role perfectly and makes us feel no sympathy for what Jimena is doing. He spies on her, yells at her…pretty much every scene they share together winds up with her in tears. The scariest part of all is now he’s been tipped off about her extra-marital affair and we can only imagine what he's got in mind for poor Nacho!

Luisa – Though not quite as threatening as Gustavo, Luisa’s still a force to be reckoned with. It’s obvious that her actions come out of jealousy and the yearning to have Nacho all to herself! In between the tears and suicide attempts, she set in motion what could be the most explosive “Juegos” moment yet…a confrontation between Jimena’s two main men!

Alicia – With all of these recaps you’d think that “Juegos” is nothing but drama and tears, but keep in mind there’s some hilarious moments mixed in too…mostly thanks to Jimena’s BFF, Alicia. With her wild facial expressions, ultra-religious Dad, and goofy online lover, Alicia's story makes for a great balance from all of the heavier stuff.
